We paid for the breakfast and it was a big let down, only one plate. And the sausages were not cooked properly, and the pastries were hard. The only highlight was the bacon. But it was very close by car to the La defence area, which was why we stayed there.

Comfortable and quiet

The hotel was comfortable and breakfast was good and decent value for money. Some parts of the hotel are a little tired looking but it's in a quiet location and a decent walk from the stadium. There is not very much in the area close by.

Rooms were incredibly small and the neighborhood was very \"iffy\". We will not stay there again. We thought we were within walking distance to the La Defense Arena but discovered it is much too far to walk, especially in that neighborhood!

No working AC. Only one working elevator for several days. Bed is a 1” mat on a box spring. Cleaners came in while the sign was on the door and intruded on us, then gave us sarcasm when we asked them to leave the room.

The hotel is in the middle of office blocks and flats so has very limited facilities around it. We were two females so we did not feel safe to be wandering around at night looking for places to eat and drink. The room was small but clean. The beds were comfortable. The small heater and air con didn’t worked so we had to get in bed if we were cold. My main complaint about this hotel was the staff. Not a single member of staff working in the hotel wore a badge or uniform to alert people staying there to who they were. It just happened to be that they were the only ones behind reception. Most of the staff were ignorant and took all their time to acknowledge you. The only friendly staff were on check in and check out but unfortunately our experience of staying here had already been tarnished by the hotel staff aside of these times. My main complaint is lack of clarity with the eating and drinking facilities with the restaurant attached, Breakfast was delicious but aside from this it was only open twice for lunch, dinner and drinks twice in our 5 night stay Thursday to Tuesday. It states this on the website but you have to look carefully to find this information. Eating out was not a massive problem for us, but having access to drinks facilities was a big problem. There are no drinks making facilities in the rooms and hotel staff are not there to provide drink. I had a heated discussion about this with a staff member which made the rest of the stay very difficult.

Comfortable and convenient.

Quiet and comfortable. Fairly convenient for Metro to city centre and short walk through nice park to La Defense arena and commercial centre. Underground parking very handy and free at weekends. Unfortunately the bar and restaurant are closed at weekends.

Bar/resteraunt never open past breakfast. Have to order food from elsewhere to be able to eat if not wanting to go out. Staff come across rude and ignorant. Can't even watch sports on ipad in an empty bar erea without being told to be quiet. Also came home with bed bug bites.

Staying for business?

Overall a satisfactory stay. A few things that will be useful to know for fellow business travellers:

Cons:
- There seems to be only a limited number of irons and ironing boards and not every room has one, so make sure you get in early if you think you have any ironing. I was late to the party and could only get an iron the day after.

First off, I can't say enough about the cleanliness of the room. All of the photos were exactly as they appeared on the website. My luggage arrived late and staff stored it until I returned for the evening. They were also very helpful with directions and information on riding the bus and metro throughout my stay and the day of departure.

Very comfortable hotel with excellent, helpful staff. The hotel is a 15 minute walk to RER station with fast connection to the centre of Paris. It is also very convenient for the U Arena.

Pretty Good Hotel, Standard Ibis.
Comfy, Good Shower, Comfy bed.
Only downside was that room was a bit small and you had to keep going to reception to get an iron when we were top floor (room 502).
RER line A Nanderre le prefecture is only about a 10/15 minute walk if you cut through a park and is easy to get into Central Paris from there. Overall stay 7/10

Is it cheap enough to offset poor quality of rooms

If your destination is near and the price is what you're after then it's adequate. Good underground parking. Good access to La Defense area. Staff ok. Restaurant and bar ok. Breakfast ok.

Rest of hotel outdated.

Rooms are small. Decor poor. Generally clean but rooms allow
smoking so confirming a no smoking room could be a must.

Not exactly close to anything.

Me and my partner recently visited this hotel for the weekend as we were going to go to Disneyland. It turns out firstly that there are two IBIS hotels in La Defence and after a brief visit to the other IBIS in La Defence (which I thought I originally booked) they advised me that I was in Nanterre's IBIS. A word of advice would be to book the IBIS near The Grand Arch as it is a lot closer to the Metro and you get views of the Eiffel Tower and the Arch De Triomphe. Anyway back to Nanterre's IBIS, the hotel staff seem to be quite abrupt seem to not really care about your existence.
The restaurant in the hotel also seems to disapprove of anyone visiting as they throw out uncooked food with rude waiters. According to their chefs, \"Well Done\" cooked burgers appear beyond pink on the inside. DO NOT EAT HERE!
Even their map was beyond a joke, we had to laugh at the fact that their maps do not even include where their hotel is.
You may be required to find the Metro yourself which is a 20 minute walk down various streets.

Reasonable rate, reasonable ride from Paris

We only spent 1 awake hour in the hotel as we arrived back late and left soon after we woke next day. It did not feel as if it was a part of a chain more like an independently owned hotel. Room was clean and tidy, location was ok if you were driving into Paris but a bus and a quick metro into the centre. It would have been brilliant if it was in walking distance of the metro. The staff were very pleasant and again it did not feel like they were super efficiently company trained though very helpful in a simple way. Wi fi was a bonus and rate was also good considering it was a very late booking.

La chambre est de taille plutôt modeste mais rien ne manque. Tout est propre. Seul bémol le parking arrière dont la barrière est cassée le laissant ouvert à qui veut se garer. Mais le perso est vraiment disponible, souriant et professionnel, merci à eux.

Déjà fuite au robinet d’eau ensuite plus de gel pour se laver … et le pire c’est quand même le petit déjeuner 13 € par personne c’est pas rien ! Rien au petit dej il était 9 h 30 tous le monde se plaignaient pas de tasse plus de jus d’orange plus de plus de croissants plus de petits pains au chocolat plus de fromage en fin plus rien quoi et quand on l’a dit au personnel il a répondu oui mais il y avait un groupe …… j’ai envie de dire ET ?…. Les deux serveurs étaient débordés pas eu de réduction malgré la réclamation mon petit dej était thé pain seul et un demi verre de jus d’orange ! C’est cher le petit dej !! En étant commercial il aurait au moins dû rembourser 2 petits dej nous étions 4 !!

Mais ma chambre était située au dessus du restaurant avec des odeurs de cuisson (fenêtre ouverte) ainsi qu'un fort bruit de ventilation dans la chambre qui s'est atténué dans la nuit. L’hôtel est très bien. Je me mets pas 5 étoiles car j’ai payé 280€ pour seulement une nuit et sans petit déjeuner (ce qui est exagéré pour un ibis). J’y étais pour un concert à La Défense arena. L’hôtel est parfait localisé pour ce type d’événement (20 mins à pied de l’arena)

Pas de place dans le parking (donc ne pas se fier au parking annoncé !!)
On nous avait dis que l'hotel se trouvait a 1km4 de Paris la Defense Arena, a vol d'oiseaux peut etre !en voiture ou pied, PAS DU TOUT !!!

Está súper lejos de todo, a casi un kilómetro y medio de la defense y sin nada de comunicación con los alrededores. Se llama la defense no se porque porque ni siquiera está dentro de paris. No tiene ni kit dental ni nada. Papel higiénico de mala calidad, toallas de mala calidad y pequeñas… mucho que desear por sé una ibis.

Nous avons réserver pour aller voir un concert à La Défense Arena. 10 mn en bus et 10mn à pied, tout à fait raisonnable.
Chambre petite mais propre, bonne literie, très calme.
Un bon choix au petit déjeuner, par contre, le café (machine automatique), pourrait vraiment être amélioré, et de beaucoup!!!

La bonne adresse à deux pas de la Défense

En stage à la Défense pour une semaine, à 15 min en bus (258), j'ai pu profiter des services de cet hôtel restaurant confortable, doté d'un parking fermé en sous-sol ( à 11€ la journée). Beaucoup d'avantages à s'installer là, d'autant plus que l'équipe s'occupe bien de vous.

Personnel sympathique. Chambre et salle de bain propres. Lit confortable (bien qu'un petit peu mou pour moi mais ça c'est subjectif). Parfait pour un court séjour (j'y suis restée 2 nuits). A 15/20 minutes à pied de la gare et plusieurs restaurants à proximité.

Remis simplement petit à petit mais vu le monde ça faisait la file d’attente pour récupérer un verre de jus ou un bout de pain, et le personnel du petit déjeuner bof... ke reste vraiment très bien!!

IBIS Nanterre - une valeur sûre

Très bon accueil à l'arrivée. Chambre propre et confortable, rien à redire. Le restaurant est correct même si la carte pourrait être un peu plus étoffée. Seul petit bémol, il fait vraiment chaud dans cet hôtel. L'hôtel est à proximité de La défense, une ligne de bus à prendre en hait de la rue. L'accès à l'hôtel est très facile.

Le gros problème est le personnel. Entre l'africain au guichet qui traite une personne toute les 30 minutes (juste pour donner la clef); et le personnel de ménage qui veut absolument faire le ménage même quand on lui dit que c'est pas la peine, (on a failli en venir au mains, mais elle a fini par comprendre) ...... Le reste est passable.

Bonjours un accueil moyen un homme très dépassé . Un réveil à 9h30 à cause de travaux quand j’appelle la respections on me dit qu’on peut rien faire pour ce bruit on était là seule chambre envahie pas des chambre à travaux je venais avant le service t l’accueil était mieux
