Who ever I spoke to via email was very kind and helpful. For this, I would give 5*. The property itself...not too clean in rooms, dents in walls, sofa bed wasn't set up for us which I've not experienced in the past. Found out a part was broken so someone came and repaired it. Found hair by the sink/hairdryer and because the rooms have kitchenettes, you could smell what people were cooking in your room which we especially didn't like. The bed was incredibly comfortable though. There is a shop just across the road to get snacks and drinks. Close walking distance to Westfield and arena.

The couch in the room was so dirty we couldn’t sit on it. The bed sheets were like sandpaper and didn’t stay on the bed so you were either sleeping on the ripped mattress cover or on the dirty mattress it’s self. There was obvious water damage to the floor that had not been repaired. The shower grout was yellow from lack of cleaning. I wouldn’t stay at this hotel.

The hotel staff was overall okay, but not particularly friendly, some were noticeably unhelpful. The room didn’t match the photos: chipped paint, missing drapes, not very clean. There was a dead bug in the bathroom corner and long black hair in the sink. Had to ask for basic supplies like toilet paper. The laundromat situation left a bad taste, no refund for unused coins, and staff seemed afraid of the bald manager, who refused to help. Overall, the experience was just over okay, but it left a bad taste in the mouth.

We were there for 4 nights. The location was a lot further away from public transport than expected. The a/c didn’t work properly, we were given a fan that only moved hot air around. The hall carpet was dirty and worn The elevator security system didn’t work properly and we were told to keep trying.
Most of the front desk staff were abrupt and not very helpful.

Not for solo females

The primary issue for me, as a solo female traveler, was the safety. There was no way for me to lock my door from the inside of my room (see picture).
Additionally, at one point I needed a new key and front desk just asked for my room number and made it- they didn't confirm it was me staying there with ID or anything. I felt on edge sleeping here because of the lack of lock.
The room was fine, the mattresses were hard. If you are taller than 5'8 the shower will be a bit tricky for you. Additionally, there was no blackout or privacy curtain on the window. Only a very sheer cover. I would not stay here again nor would I recommend it.

Great stay for the Olympics

We booked 2 rooms for two adults. Just before coming I was slightly nervous having seen some recent negative reviews. However, our experience was fantastic. From arriving to leaving the staff couldn’t help enough. Parking was really convenient and very reasonable. We had a free room upgrade. The rooms were clean and had a great selection of complimentary drinks and snacks, which in most hotels you are charged for. Location great for the Defence Arena. Will be coming back!

What was unique was that there was a supply of kitchen tools and dining utensils available. The front desk staff did not bother to notify any of us about the wifi, the breakfast, or any of the amenities included in the rooms such as the pots and pans that we were allowed to use. The toilet started leaking after one flush and their solution was to give us extra towels to lay down on the floor. Heating clothes apparatus was also broken. And there were bugs crawling in the bathroom. Half of the staff also did not bother saying hello or good morning.

We stayed at this property because of its proximity to La Defense arena. The rooms felt like very sad dorm rooms in the US. The bar in the lobby was not open during listed hours. The front desk appeared to overcharge us for taxes. We would NEVER stay here again. EVER.

The room wasn’t ready at 3pm for check in, and the manager wasn’t the least bit sorry. At quarter after 4 he reported that he had already told me the room wasn’t ready. Helpful! We ran out of time to shower and get ready for the show, which was the entire reason for staying there. I would not recommend the room itself. There were just sheer curtains, so our East-facing room became a bright, hot sauna at 6am…the morning after a late concert. Just what we were not hoping for. No shampoo and conditioner (but they did have soap), and terrible pillows/bed. The hotel was also quite loud and the employees were not polite. Do yourself a favor and just spring for a nicer hotel. This one isn’t even worth its discounted price.

Location was good. However the room was not clean. We had a q tip (used) in our trash. The shower head was disgusting and extremely dirty. We only had half a roll of tp. There were no blinds and no curtains. And on top of all this the hotel air conditioning was broken. So we had to open the window which broken also and that brought n lots of noise.

We requested an iron and they wanted me to pay for it. (20 euros). I brought Clorox wipes for plane and used in kitchen area to wipe down the counter snd they were black when I was done.

For what you pay and the “ratings” it has I was MAD. We would not stay there again.

Side note EXTREMELY nice and professional and helpful staff. The staff checking in and out made the stay bearable.

THIS WAS BY FAR ONE OF THE WORSE HOTEL I RVER STAYED IN PARIS. WE ARRIVED ONE DAY KATE AND THEY REFUSE TO REFUND, THEY PROMISED TO CLEAN THE ROOM AND ONLY CAME TO CHANGE THE SHEETS, WE COMPLAINED AND THEY MADE SURE HAD THE WORSE REST OF OUR STAY. HOUSE KEEPING COME INTO THE ROOM WITHOUT KNOCKING AND FOUND MY WIFE HALD DRESSED (NO APOLOGIES OFFERED), ROOMS ARE VERY SMALL, DISHONEST PEOPLE REDUSING TO ADMIT THEIR CLEAR MISTAKES, CHARGED US TOO MUCH FOR BREAKFAST, ALMOST EVERYONE IN THIS PLACE HAD AN ATTITUDE. CUSTOMER SERVICE ABSOLUTELY ZERO.

I FEEL IT WAS WAY OVER PRICED ESPECIALLY FOR THE KIND OF ROOM I WAS GIVEN. I FELT THERE WAS SOME FALSE ADVERTISEMENT, BECAUSE PRIOR TO BOOKING I SAW TOTALLY DIFFERENT PICTURES, WHICH WAS A LOUNGE AREA, A BALCONY AND A MUCH BIGGER KITCHEN AREA ETC. I am not one to leave poor reviews though I feel I should just to share with other travellers who may be arriving in Paris for the first time.
This hotel is too far from everything - it would be better to find a place closer to $600 per night that is within the 1-8 arrondosments. The room was dated, old, nothing like the pictures. I tried to get a credit with Expedia to stay somewhere else however we could not cancel the day of. Understandable except most hotels I have stayed at allow you to cancel the day of if you don’t check in. I would not recommend nor would I stay here again. My error on location as I wanted to have a spot with more square footage though it’s worth it to spend more money and stay in the city.

For us location was great, 10-15 min walk to Arena. You cannot call this hotel a 4 star. We had 2 separate rooms and both were tired and well worn. My room looked like a last minute add in and felt as if one of the staff might have just vacated it. Everything was worn, skirting boards dirty, thin blind on one window, looked like 2 tables next to bed with lamps balanced on, other room was a little better but furniture was well worn and if you are selling it as 4 star then this was no were near it. Shower, you had to step in a bath, shower head was at my chest level. As i say location superb communal parts look very smart but the rooms and facilities would need to be updated.

This property was a complete disappointment! I assume the photos upload online were from a few years ago when the renovations were first done hey see this hotel was very dirty and was not anything like the photos expressed. The walls had black stains on them that were able to be wiped off but were NOT! The shower had scum and grime build up.

Our son's 21st birthday. Arrived early but reception immediately allowed us access to our rooms. Absolutely ideal and with a balcony - great view of the sunrise as it turned out! Breakfast was excellent and well worth the cost. Getting round Paris by public transport was easy as the hotel is really close. Will be back very soon.

Overall, we had a great stay here, and enjoyed the location. Our studio was fine, with a pretty view. The building is on a quiet street in a business district that was lively during the week and calm on the weekends; it's a nice walk from the La Defense metro RER station, which was pleasant for us for the most part, but it involved stairs, escalators, and walking some distance , so take that into account if you are walking there from the station in bad weather or with heavy bags. It's a good 10-15 minute walk. Staff was polite and helpful. The only issues we had with the hotel were the air conditioning that was set at a temperature just slightly too warm for us, and that we could not change, and the token machines in the laundry room that did not always work as expected. Staff was as reponsive as they could be about any concern/ request that we had over which they had any control. These were minor issues in the big scheme of things, but it was a good value and we'd stay here again.

Quality stay for a fraction of the cost

While planning my family trip to Paris I wanted accommodation that was in a nice area and for the room to be clean and well maintained...a nice hotel. When I found Residhome it ticked all the boxes. King size bed for the adults plus a sofa bed for my son , a kitchenette and conveniently located close to shops, a mall and a metro station. The service was good. The cost to stay in Courbevoie versus Central Paris was a fraction of the cost giving you more value for your money. I highly recommend.

Very good value just a 5 minute walk from my company's Paris HQ with several eateries close by along with a full service market. Only issue was the thermostat did not work and it was necessary to keep the windows open at night to keep the temperature comfortable...Note: I did not inform the hotel and just dealt with it....wasn't that big a deal. WiFi worked great!!

Stayed here for a couple days for my birthday weekend, arrived at the hotel and did not even receive a greeting. The front desk and others working for the hotel saw my friend and I struggling to bring up our luggage at the entrance and everyone just stared at us. We would speak to them and they would just stare at us like we were speaking a language they did not understand. There was a very helpful gentleman (which I did not catch him name, blonde hair) that was VERY helpful since my friends luggage got lost, he was able to help us receive it back. The room has so many amenities that were helpful during our stay, and breakfast was amazing!

We really enjoyed our stay. The front desk employees were all very kind and professional. They were helpful in getting us in to our room as soon as possible after a long flight. They held our luggage while we grabbed a bite to eat. They were helpful with printing our tickets for the tourist attractions. The breakfast was okay - not a lot of variety but better than no breakfast at all. The area is nice with a mall near by and a variety of eating establishments. The metro is a short distance walk from the hotel. The rooms were small but very comfortable and clean! We would stay there again. Thanks for making our vacation enjoyable!!

Very friendly personnel and well maintained property. Great price/quality ratio. Located in very nice area closed to 4 temps mall and La defense station allowing access to trains, buses and subway lines.
There were a couple services you would expect to be available in every hotel, but they were up to our expectations.
1. With an ironing board available in the room , no iron was provided. You'll only get the iron by calling the reception and either paying 20 euros deposit or giving your passport. Sometimes, there was not iron available when you needed it.
2. The phone in your only get you through the reception. You can even make a local call unless you go to the reception and have them dial it for you. I would preferred calling in the comfort of my room and pay for the call.
I hope they can look into this.

The room was hotter than the!

Everything you need in a room but very compact. When the sofa bed is down for our child we could not access the outside balcony. The Air Con is not temperature adjustable and a weak stream of relatively cool air is all you get. The room was 27 Celsius on arrival and the best we ever achieved was 24.5. This made for some very uncomfortable sleeps. In a cooler season this would be fine but not for Paris at 35 degrees. Bus stop, Starsrbucks and supermarket at the end of the street helped.

I had a very nice stay. The place was easy to find with <10 mins walk from La defense metro station. You will need to climb up and down, escalators weren't working outside the station to reach the street in which this place is located but it's not the hotel's fault but it made it difficult for my aged parents . The rooms were clean and had all basic toiletries, kitchen utensils and refrigerator. You also have a super market just opposite (Franprix) and another supermarket (Monoprix) just around the corner with many ATMs near by.

Overall I had a very pleasant stay and nothing to complain about.

Advertised with air conditioning. Cannot adjust below 26 degrees C. Told that the whole building is set to that. Room with double and pull out single bed extremely small. Otherwise clean and bright with good service.

Smell bad -

The front desk gave us a room in the 9 floor, the hall and room smell horrible , we requested to change the room, they charged $27 more per night , after that the room had only one bed, they moved us to other room , the room doesn’t had a double beds, and the fridge was open all time because the door was damaged. The front desk people don’t want to help me with the change of the room until I was very upset.

Not what we expected

The location is great, and most of the staff is friendly and helpful. The beds are also quite comfortable, and the free wifi is fast and reliable (unlike some hotels). However, we were surprised and disappointed in the policy to not clean rooms daily. It would have been helpful to know this in advance. The overnight desk clerk was unfriendly when we requested fresh towels on days when our room wasn't cleaned. Also, the air conditioning was confusing, and the instructions provided in the room's information binder did not match the control panel. We were also frustrated by the elevators, which require our room card. Sometimes, they worked fine, but most often, we'd have to insert our card and press our floor number many, many times before it would stick. We watched other guests have the same problem in the elevators. Finally, the breakfast room should have longer hours. A start time of 7:00/7:30 is much too late, and it's only open for three hours. A 6:00 start time is much more reasonable. One morning, it was so crowded that we couldn't find seating. We were finally given a table to sit. That day, the breakfast room was particularly messy, and there were no eggs. For what we paid for breakfast, we expected better. All in all, it was only a decent stay, but I wouldn't stay there again.

Good location close to La Defense, good facilities

Studio was ideal for a business stay with good facilities for working and kitchenette good for making a quick snack. The rooms need a bit of updating, the bathrooms are a little tired looking and there was no working air conditioning which was fine in the winter but may be an issue in summer. The bed was lovely and comfortable so great nights sleep.

Comfortable and convenient for La Defense.

Very comfortable room on the fourth floor. The bed was excellent and there was a reasonably sized table so we could eat in the room. The kitchen area was adequate, luckily we had our own corkscrew as this was missing from the drawer! The bathroom was good-I like that we could have a bath.
The area was convenient for us, but there is not a lot to do nearby, and few interesting restaurants. The shopping area and cafes in La Defense aree reasonably close, but it's not a great area for nightlife.

Nice location

Nice location about 12 min to metro station and RER A, very convenient for transportation. I wish for short term stay, they should provide water, they only give you 1time when you check in. Didn't really get to use their amenities but I'm sure for longer stay or family, this would be a good place to stay.

Great View, wonderful staff, perfect location.

We had a great stay in Prague, the young lady at the registration desk was very helpful. Great recomendations for places to go and eat. Lovely apartment with a great rooftop terrace.
