Très bien , j’étais déjà venu il y a 4 ans, seul bémol les importants travaux en cours pas très agréables pour le client. Peut être aurait il fallu le mentionner sur le net ou bien fermer carrément l’hôtel, car ça fait un peu baisser la note. C’est dommage.

It’s a bit out of Paris but was just the location I needed the rooms are all new with a new reception being built now.
The staff are very friendly and helpful I messaged them asking how to get the the train station to the hotel and got a very helpful step by step guide.
Fantastic would stay again

Budget Hotel with kind staff

It is a budget hotel, surrounded by a beautiful park. You need to carry your own soaps and shampoos as we didnt rely on the to hotel ones as they didnt come in packaging but was available in dispenser attached to the wall of the bathroom. The staff is lovely, very kind. I am a vegetarian, so when I reached hotel, I needed to eat but hardly anything vegetarian on the menu except for vegetarian burger. But the chef was so kind to cook pasta for us of our choice. The breakfast was available in buffet which was great, as you have variety.

Small rooms, again its a budget hotel, but major issue is the stay on weekend. There is something like a club nearby. On Saturday night the music was blasting until Sunday morning. So we couldn’t get any sleep. Make sure you dont get a room facing the road anytime if you are planning to stay on weekends. Tube station is just walk through the park, and so is a convenience store.

Handy location for me, quiet good food in there too. The beer at the bar may be a tad too cold, the froth on top wasn't nearly frozen (Grimbergen).

The Breakfast was a buffet selection with a wide range of foods, typical breakfast cereals, lots of juice on offer and lots and lots of croissants.

Excellent stay. We stayed 2 nights. Staff were extremely helpful especially Emilie on reception and the bar manager. We went to watch a rugby match at the arena which is only about 15 minutes walk away. About half an hour on the train from the centre of Paris.

We stayed for one night in this very clean and friendly hotel. While bed was very comfortable the room was extremely hot, maybe not a bad thing if outside was really cold, but outside temperature was quite warm too. I’d recommend your hotel for its close proximity to La Defense Arena.

Quality hotel at Paris Defense Business centre

The hotel is good quality , not too expensive , in Nanterre only 2.5 km from La Defense Business area.
There is a buss line 159 which brings you in 10min.
The hotel has good facilities in the room, bathtub, hairdryer, coffee maker, proper sized beds. The hotel is not extremely luxurious, but well equipped, the personnel is pleasant and hardworking. Internet is working, The Breakfast space is nice and light and offers good assortment of food. (most of what you would expect).
Small point of improvement the bar is closed at 24 h midnight, and would be nice if you could buy small bottle of Bordeaux at reception, for late arrivals.
certainly recommendable for business people.

The room was too cold and the thermostat did not work. The carpet was very worn with patches all over. Limited breakfast choices for the price.
However, the bed was nice and comfortable, shower/ toilet facilities were neat and hotel was in a good location.

This used to be a good hotel a couple of years ago but it is now more like a hostel.
It is old, tired and very expensive for what it offers.

Public Areas of this hotel are poor and generally not clean enough, particularly the staircase which was filthy ( the same can be said for the exterior ). Not a great location for a tourist as its in the business area. Rooms are extremely small, I booked a triple room although there were only two of us, thinking we would have more space. The third bed was under one of the other singles for \"self assembly\" although it would have been impossible to erect it in the room without moving all the furniture out.

Great base for visiting Paris...just a short stroll through the park to the RER which is 2 stops away from the Arc de Triomph. Clean nice hotel, good breakfast. Only moan is that the triple room is very cramped, but such a good price & location that we would happily stay again.

The sight says the staff speaks English. There was only one staff member that spoke English and she was fairly rude. Originally we had asked staff members (that did not speak English) how to get to the metro. They sent us the wrong way. When we had returned some 2 hours later..... the only staff member that spoke English was there and instructed us into a shady park where the metro was located. Insinuating that we were stupid for not getting it the first time. We were supposed to have a room with 3 single beds with 10 inches of space between each bed. Instead We got 2 single beds with a cot pushed together. Also since we were in a foreign country it was impossible to contact hotels.com for a refund or anything else. Also with it being New Years it was nearly impossible to find other hotels. Also no vending machine so good look eating after 10 pm

We enjoyed our stay. PROS: bed was comfortable, view from our room 317 of the D'arche of Defense. Shower was good. 3 Miuntues to bus, metro about 20 minute walk. Close to large modern mall 15 minutes walk (metro connected to mall) . CONS : A/C didnt work No English tv.... Didnt eat at restaurant. I suggest going to mall , grocery store there along with clothes, electronics, etc and metro access.

Basic Hotel, unprofessional staff

Arriving at the hotel within designated check in times, I was given a hurried check in and sent to room. Girl on reception had assured me breakfast was covered in the cost, however next morning the hotel had changed their minds and made me pay extra. Apparently the girl on reception was a trainee and it was not their problem that incorrect information was given.
Do not stay here if you expect any level of professionalism from the staff. Otherwise, basic hotel in OK location.

The hotel was pretty average. The location did not look very safe in the night. Also the air conditioning was not working and was very difficult to sleep in the night. No fans available from the hotel and was annoying. The people in the neighbouring property were noisy till late in the night and this made sleeping ever tougher. Convenient location though but will think twice before staying here again.

Our four nights stay was fine. Average location. There is two fastest way to get to hotel from RER railway station. (1st. About 10min walk trough the park from Nanterre Préfecture RER. Which not really recommend during night time. ) (2nd. Take bus 159 next to the hotel straight away to La Défense RER). Easy excess from La Défense RER to every sights. Good for budget stay.

This hotel really isn't in Paris at all.

The hotel is adjacent to la defense on an industrial estate. It is at least 2 miles from the nearest RER/Metro station and nobody knows where it is and unhelpfully the hotel website doesn't explain this either.
It is a bog standard motel, if you want a sterile stay in one of the most beautiful cities in the world and you have reliable GPS then good luck with it all.

Good for driving and a bargain.

Hotel was clean, staff were reasonable, wireless was a bit slow (on the fourth floor) but the hotel is very cheap for what you get. Ticks all the boxes but the room is just very small. Good for anyone driving to Paris but not wanting to take their car into the centre (not recommended), parking was private and 'fenced off'. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk through a nice park to the RER line, apparently there is also a bus you can take although this would be more effort than anything (and maybe a bit lazy). From the RER it is about 10mins train journey into the center, alternatively you can catch the RER to Le Defance and change onto the Metro line. Be sure to get off the right place on your return on the RER - Nanterre Prefecture (i.e. not Le Defance).

There's very limited choices of restaurants nearby, and the food in the hotel's restaurant was not impressive at all, the internet was the major downfall, very very poor signal and often disconnected cannot log in to banks or even download a newspaper. Very small room. Definitely will not go back there again. However, receptionist was very professional and friendly (she was the only good aspect of the hotel in our stay).

When I asked for 3 beds, I did think that they were going to be 2 twin beds and a roll away. What I DIDN'T think was that they would all be right next to each other with no floor space around them. This hotel was WAY TOO SMALL to advertise 3 beds in a room.

Good value hotel for Paris

The hotel was ideally located for our stay because of our needing to work in Nanterre. If you are more interested in being near the major attractions this may be a little out of your way. However, a 10 minute walk through a lovely park gets you to the RER and in 15 minutes you are in the heart of Paris. Trains run every 3 - 5 minutes. Hotel was contemporary, clean, comfortable and efficient, but not luxurious. The people at the desk were always pleasant and helpful. It was hot during our stay so it was good to have A/C, which is not so common in Paris. Free WiFi. For the price we paid, we felt like we got more for our money than we would have in a more centrally located hotel and when we did travel into the city it was relatively quick (I went in every day for a week).

I found the rooms quite strangely organized and quite old, it would need renovation. Otherwise the hotel is good, they have a very good restaurant for good price and the staff is very friendly! Cheap & Cheerful!

If your driving into Paris, this is hotel is extremely well priced and not so badly located. You get free parking behind a locked gate. It takes about 10-15 mins to get onto the Champs Elysée. The rooms are quite small, decor is ok, bathroom is clean, and linen and towels are provided. You get free WiFi, not the fastest of speeds but it does the job. Some opf the hotel staff are very unhelpful whereas the others are extremely helpful. We did have a problem with hot water on our last day, which to be fair was a result of a boiler breakdown, but the hotel compensated us with a refund for one night so that was really good. We didn't use the restaurant so cannot comment on food. Public transport is very easily accessible, Bus stop is a 3 min walk, which is then 3 stops from the RER. From here the metro can be accessed and you can travel round Paris till your hearts content. Overall, if I was going bk to Paris with a car, I would more than likely stay there again

Our room's air conditioner did not work and it was warm during our stay. The staff provided fans that provided some relief, but no maintenance was done on the a/c while we were there. It was a good hotel to stay at that wasn't in the heart of Paris since it was just a 10 minute walk to the metro. Room was clean but sparsely furnished.

room was very small and awkward to get around with two people sharing. Walls appear to be paper-thin and as a result, quite noisy. No air-con either so very stuffy at night. Beds are very small and although clean, do not make for a good nights sleep.
Restaurant food was dreadful and tasteless.
Nanterre is not a particularly nice part of town, so unless you need to be there, then perhaps it's best to stay elsewhere.

This is your basic suburb business slash cheapskate weekend traveler hotel. Getting to a RER station involves either walking ~1km through a park (pleasant by day, perhaps not so at night) or taking the 159 bus which runs every 20 minutes to La Defense. Travel time from RER Nanterre-Prefecture to Châtelet-Les Halles is about 20 minutes, not counting the time you'll spend getting into/out of the stations. The hotel is conveniently located when arriving by car, has a free enclosed parking lot, and free wifi. Curiously, our room didn't have a toilet brush ...

brilliant quality for money

after a recent trip to Paris, this hotel was one of the easiest and nicest choice. I booked the room for me and my boyfriend a month before we went for one night, with the hope of finding another hotel for the second night. However after booking in and staying the night we decided to stay an extra night and the hotel was very accommodating and fitted us in for a good price.

We had a car so the parking facilities were brilliant and was only a five minuet drive into the center of prais.

Speaking no french at all the staff were all able to help and understand when we needed, which was also a benefit.

Highly recommended for the price we paid.

Campanile Paris Ouest - close to Paris centre!

Having not read any negative reviews before booking this hotel I was already pretty impressed - it was even closer/easier to get into central Paris than I first imagined! The hotel was clean and hotel staff were very friendly! The only thing I would recommend BEFORE is writing down the route to get to the hotel from Nanterre-Prefecture as we did get lost when we came out of the station (thankfully we had google maps to guide us!). We also found the easiest way to get to the hotel was to get the metro to La Defense and from the station get the 159 bus, which stops basically outside the hotel!

Very convenient One night stay

I had booked a one night stay as a surprise for my husband. Our focus was not really the hotel, it was the fact that it was close to Paris and Versaille.

For the price that I paid I was very happy with the outcome. We arrived at 11am. We parked (+++parking free). The receptionist was very nice and helpful. She directed us to where we could storage our luggage and then she also helped us to where to find the closest subway to Paris.

We left for Paris the whole day,and since we were quite tired, it was around 11:45pm, when we got back to the hotel, they were very welcoming and it was one of the quickest check in, basically gave us the key and off we went up to the room.

Very clean room, good size, enough for our needs. Large bathroom. I could have easily stayed for a couple of more night comfortably.

Viva La Defense!

We had an \"Extra Day\" to spend in Paris that my Company wasn't covering the expense for. So I found a Campanile hotel near Paris. The rate was Good, and near all transportation that I needed to see Historic Paris, and still be able to get to the CDG Air Port on time.[...] greeted us with XLNT English, and made sure everything was going well for us. We had been staying at the Holiday Inn at Clichy. I wish we had stayed here the entire time.

I did not really take the time to check out this location and it was not too convenient. you had to walk through a sort of nondescript park to get to the metro station and the neighborhood seemed a little shady. the hotel employees were courteous but one of them gave us a wrong bus number and luckily we figured it out on time or we would have ended up in the wrong direction.. since there were only two bus numbers in the area this seemed like a big mistake. no free breakfast and the hotel was bare bones but clean. the A.C did not work great on our floor.

Just come back from a weekend break in Paris staying at Companile Nanterre. After reading plenty of positive reviews for this relatively low priced hotel it was decided that us 3 budget-minded guys would share a room at Companile Nanterre.

Having arrived at Gare du Nord, we hadn't realised that Nanterre Prefecture was not a metro station and was in zone 2 (or 3?) so instead of paying 11 euros for a carnet, it actually came to 18... which seared our mini wallets.

Despite knowing that walking through the park from the station to the hotel was a shortcut, we still managed to take the long route around! For those who don't want to get lost, come out of the Nanterre Prefecture station and take the stairs on the right, and walk towards a large open stretch where there are glass cubes with 5 or 6 large pillars in the distance. This will lead you to the park, and from there just follow the signs for Pablo Picasso Rd.

The hotel itself.. the receptionist was fairly helpful i guess. Not overly friendly but neither rude, which is a bonus. The triple room was tiny, there was just about enough room to fit in all 3 beds (1 being a smaller fold-out bed). What else? TV, hairdryer, kettle were all present. Clean stuffy room with a weak air con system (even at full power), large window for air, well equipped bathroom, view of the carpark, quiet area at night with very little cars.

Thanks Companile Nanterre for a pleasant stay!

Das Hotel liegt sehr ruhig direkt an einem Park. Nach einem 15-minütigen Spaziergang erreicht man die RER-Station und ist schnell überall in Paris. Das Personal war etwas reserviert aber freundlich. Die Zimmer sind ruhig, sauber, neu renoviert und die Kaffeemaschine sowie der Smart TV ein nettes extra. Ich würde hier jederzeit wieder übernachten.
Etwa 10 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt ist ein Supermarkt, ansonsten hat die Umgebung nicht viel zu bieten, durch die ideale Anbindung an öffentliche Verkehrsmittel (Bushaltestelle direkt nebenan, RER 15 min zu Fuß) macht das jedoch nichts

Cher, décevant, pas de cuisinier.

Déplacement pro.
Lors de la réservation, le pt dej apparaissait à 43€... je ne me suis pas méfié.
Par contre, en arrivant sur place, il y avait des travaux dans l'hotel. Mais en soit, ce n'est pas forcément gènant.
En outre, pour nous accueillir, une caution de 50€ par chambre nous a été demandée, alors que nos chambres étaient toutes prépayées.
Le soir, au restau, après avoir bu une bière à 10€. Nous avons constaté qu'il n'y avait pas de cuisinier, mais un service \"buffet à volonté\" avec qq maigres plats. La formule 3 à 27 euro, nous a particulièrement effrayé.
Après avoir tenté le plat d'entrée, nous avons décidé d'arrèter là les frais et nous sommes rabattus sur un UberEat ...
Heureusement, le barman était très sympa et compréhensif.
Je passe sur les fenêtres qui ferment mal et le démarrage des travaux à 7h00.
Une expérience décevante et un hôtel à éviter.

Très bon accueil mais pas reposant

L'isolation sonore de la fenêtre est vraiment mauvaise. Il n'y avait pas vraiment de différence entre fenêtre ouverte ou fermé.
La chambre que j'avais bénéficié également un bruit de moteur (peut-être de clim, je ne sais pas) qui ajouté un bruit complémentaire
