This hotel is very difficult to navigate for transportation as it does not have street access. Very awkward.

Rooms are dated. Shower and sink slow to drain. Asked three times to have body wash dispenser fixed.

This is NOT a five star hotel.

Nest Hotel MGallery DISAPPOINTING!!

While checking in I asked if breakfast is covered, they said yes. Next day morning after breakfast they made me sign on the bill. Spoke to the lady at reception who apologized but couldn't do anything.
Next day construction work was ongoing right outside my room and the noise and disturbance didn't let me work all afternoon. When I called reception the lady said this work is going outside the hotel, we cannot do anything. I would expect a so called 5 star hotel to make customers aware while checking in if there is work right outside even if it is nothing to do with the hotel as it disturbs the hotel customers. Common sense. And be courteous to your customers don't argue for no reason!
I would have gladly picked another room down the corridor or another floor had I known the issue. They offered me to change the room right in the middle of an important call which I couldn't. She didn't understand or try to understand what I was saying.
Visited and stayed in hotels in and around Le Defense many times. This is the first and last time I will stay in NEST MGallery hotel. Approach road to the hotel is confusing. Taxi from CDG could never reach the hotel following maps. He dropped me few mins away under a bridge and I had to take a 10 mins walk up the stairs. At least he was polite and it was my choice given he tried his best. There are many options logistically convenient at or below this price range with much better service in Le defense.

The hotel is aesthetically pleasing overall. Our rooms wer very nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were allowed an early check in for one of our two rooms, which was greatly appreciated after a long flight. Our only real complaint is that although we could get an uber to the hotel, getting an uber from the hotel was nearly impossible because of how it is positioned. We probably wouldn't book again because of the distance from the city center. Other than that, it's a high quality place to stay.

I was amazed at the service spirit of the staff like a five-star hotel. I appreciate their attentiveness to their customers. Both the check-in and check-out times and the breakfast time I experienced their amazing service. When I left something in my room, they let me know quickly and clearly, and when I went to find my lost item, they were as kind as possible. I will definitely come back to this place.

A very nice hotel, fantastic breakfast. It is reached by Metro line 1 (yellow), Important to exit at Esplanade de la Defense (second last station), get out in the direction of the train, spot a round building and walk around it anti clockwise until you find the hotel entrance. 100 m.
The hotel is situated at the end of a giant outdoor mall 2 km long and 100m across. With this advice you will avoid it.
Line 1 takes you to Paris center and most important places and connections, it is fast and frequent, thus the hotel is centrally placed in a practical sense. Although it doesnt seem so on the map

Hôtel is great however the construction and road work around the area was challenging for Taxi drivers and was further out from what we thought from main attractions. The area is walkable if you don’t mind getting your steps in. I would recommend the hotel and their restaurant was lovely with great food.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. I was worried about accessing the hotel with taxi, but I called the hotel and they gave me the address which brings the taxi right to the hotel entrance. The staff was so polite and helpful. Room was spacious and beds were good-sized and comfortable. Loved the location with easy metro access and the square at night was lovely with a large fountain and views of the Arc and Eiffel tower. Sat outside near the fountain with a bottle of wine and watched the Eiffel tower light show at night. Will stay here again!

Great hotel for a few nights stay! From just outside the hotel you have a view of the Eiffel Tower and Arc De Triomphe from a distance. Hotel is lovely inside, as is the surrounding area. Not a lot of options for food nearby but the hotel itself does have its own restaurant and offers room service.

Overall had a great stay here and its distance from the very centre of the city is not a problem whatsoever considering how close the metro stop is and how easily accessible it is. One member of staff in particular, Valentine, made our stay all the more better. Couldn’t have been more pleasant to speak to and helped us massively when it came down to language difficulties.

My weeklong stay at Nest Stay in Paris left me with mixed feelings, as the experience fell short of the expected 5-star quality. Let's start with the check-in process, which was marred by frustrating delays. Despite arriving with anticipation, the prolonged wait left a negative first impression.

The reception staff's demeanor further contributed to the disappointment. The service lacked the warmth and courtesy one would expect in a 5-star establishment. Unfortunately, encounters with the staff left me feeling unwelcome, and their overall attitude did not align with the hospitality standards associated with top-tier hotels.

Moving on to the touted 5-star breakfast, it was underwhelming, to say the least. The variety and quality of offerings were not commensurate with the elevated status of the hotel. It left me yearning for a more refined and diverse culinary experience, which one typically anticipates in a 5-star setting.

One of the most significant letdowns was the state of the rooms. Despite the promise of luxury, they lacked basic amenities that are considered standard in high-end accommodations. From missing toiletries to inadequate furnishings, the rooms failed to provide the comfort and convenience expected from a 5-star hotel.

In summary, my stay at Nest Stay in Paris was marred by delays in check-in, a disappointing reception staff, an underwhelming breakfast experience, and rooms that did not live up to the basic standards of a 5-star establishment

The hotel is inaccessible by car. The area is in constant development which makes it really hard to find the hotel if you’re driving. There’s no “front door” so unless you’re by foot on a specific level in the area, it is almost impossible to know where you’re going and where to find it. Took us over an hour by car to finally find our way in. The staff didn’t help on the phone. They hang up on us basically saying: we can’t help you.

We waited approx 40 minutes past 3pm for our room after travelling 9 hours to get there.

The place itself is beautiful but in the business distract so food places close early and it is not exactly right in the city center fortunately the train station is a 5 minute walk away. I would prefer a place closer to the city center. However the hotel itself is gorgeous! Great room service and well maintained. We wish we had been able to get to our room sooner seeing how we sat in the lobby for almost 3 hours waiting for a room to become available. A welcome drink or some more hospitality while we waited would have been nice!

At the face of it it seems to tick all boxes but the hotel isn't quite 5 star in terms of comfort and grace. Its set in a business district and all neighbouring eateries maintain business hours for most of weekend. Even the Starbucks which opens up within the hotel was found to be closed most of the evenings. The beds and pillows are not comfortable enough. Air conditioner is too ancient to allow suitable controls.
As per the reception staff at the time of check-in, we were 'upgraded' to a deluxe room where as I had anyways booked a deluxe room.
Nor was there a 'jug full of water' as per his response - instead just the normal tap water in the tea kettle. After the stay I have exchanged a few emails with the front office manager and have been informed that there were supposed to be water cans in the mini bar, replaced everyday. Now why would they not mention that ? Instead we were buying plastic bottles everyday, refilling from tap, doing same damage to climate that they wanted to avoid. Quite a few other glaring misses from the glorious list of amenities on their website.
I would avoid this Hotel in future.

The plus point of the property is the location close to the Metro. The rest of the aspects including room service, breakfast was really poor. The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful but that does not make up for inferior rooms or rest of the aspect of the stay. It is considered to be a 5 star at best it is a 4 star

A beautiful boutique hotel, I strongly recommend. Though you should know, getting an uber to it is treacherous as its a bit difficult to navigate to due to the area. When leaving the property, best bet is to have the hotel call you a taxi, but that will be much more expensive than an Uber or Bolt

Avoid at all costs! Absolute shocking hotel.

Absolute thieves be aware! Booked to stay for 2 nights, showed up at the hotel only to be told that there is no booking and it’s not their problem. Left stranded in the streets of Paris at 1am in the morning. Contacted hotels.com only to be told that the hotel is refusing to refund it and they are not confirming the refund…what??? There is no room available and I don’t get my money back?? BE AWARE! Do not book this hotel! Still don’t have my money back so I have had to open legal proceedings against hotels.com and Mgallery to recoup my money and damages. avoid at all costs!

It’s a business hotel in the business quarter. Incredibly close to the metro, so access to main attractions was easy but not walkable unless you like walking 3 km (each way). it’s about 25 mins (each way) to the Eiffel Tower on the metro. Metro is cheap and very easy to use.

Not many restaurants nearby and most are closed at the weekend. Even the hotel’s restaurant and onsite Starbucks is closed at the weekend.

The hotel was great value and we have no regrets booking the hotel. Just make sure you’re prepared to commute to the attractions everyday. Not really convenient to go out for the day, return for refresher and go out for evening as it wastes too much time. We did that on one of the evenings but couldn’t do it everyday.

Great value, convenient location

Very nice hotel (clean, friendly staff, comfortable spaces) in a nice, quiet location. Not many dining or sightseeing options within walking distance, but close to shopping and the metro to easily get into the center of Paris. Great value if only paying for the room, but extras tend to rack up the price to that of a normal 5-star hotel (breakfast, drinks, etc.). Overall, we will definitely consider staying here again on our next trip to Paris!

The hotel was located in La Defense, very close to Esplanda metro station. It is a 5-star hotel but it didn't look like one, because of construction work around. However they didn't charge 5-star price, so I have no complain. Because of the same reason, it was not easy to find a taxis around.

With that said, everything else of Sofitel at La Defense worked like 5-star.
When we checked in, the lady upgraded us to a room with king size bed (thank you!). The equipment and room service were excellent. Suppliers were name-brand and plenty. When we called the front desk for questions, they explained clearly and professionally.

The hotel was on the metro line 1. When we were in PARIS, there was on-going strike of transportation union. Line 1 was the only 1 of 2 lines operating in full time!

I will certainly consider this hotel, if travelling to Paris again.

I didn't know that La Defense is outside of Paris. But it was only 1 min walk from the Metro station M1- La Defense station. So it was still very convenient. Lobby was a bit small but the bar looks nice. I didn't spend much time in the hotel so all in all it was a good experience.

We picked the Sofitel bc of the name/brand and were very disappointed. Let’s start with the good: we were traveling with our four-year-old and they set up a cot for us in advance of our arrival which was lovely. And, they have Hermès bath products.

The room was clean enough (it’s an old hotel), but there were dirty glasses and napkins outside our door when we arrived. The glasses were still there the next morning when we left at 11:00, which isn’t really a big deal, but our bath towels were not clean. We found a booger on a wash cloth, and as my husband dried himself after the shower his towel distinctly smelled like urine. Gross and gross. Our coffee machine was broken (in fairness they tried to bring us a new one, but we were rushing to leave).

The hotel is under construction, which we knew because I had read reviews mentioning it, and the workers accidentally set off the fire alarm at 7:30 AM. Clearly not the hotel’s fault, but given everything else we experienced it was the last straw. Upon check out when I mentioned our issues staff offered to pay for my $15 vodka and soda from the night before. I suggested maybe they could buy us breakfast, and they said they would come
the drink OR breakfast. Didn’t seem like Sofitel service to me.

Sofitel la defense.

Excellent value for money. Pleasant , helpful staff , large room, nice bathroom , quiet hotel. La Defence may not suit all as it lacks the charm of other areas however the fact that it was pedestrianised suited us as we were travelling with a child so no traffic to worry about on the way to the excellent metro stations close by. The large shopping complex offers a choice of restaurants. We would definitely recommend for a family stay.

It was a good property. Location was a bit difficult since you can’t really have UBER pick you up from the property. You have to use a taxi they call for you which has 7Euro reservation fee on top of the taxi fare when you leave the hotel. You can always use the train/subway which is pretty close by.
