This was a good choice for me - close to La Defense Arena but it was a long way from the natural world with loads of sky scrapers , shops and acres of concrete . Some buildings had seen better days . Apart from a kettle in the room the hotel was good with helpful staff . Enjoyed the breakfast .

Budget hotel so didn’t expect loads and it’s fine for a night or two. The staff at check in was conversational but quite rude to me in that it was me (female) checking in and making conversation, but he was only talking to my male partner? It didn’t really make sense that he was only looking and talking to him, when I was the one talking and with the information - and it was my name on the booking. Quite rude.

The room itself was basic but seemed clean. The 2 plugs in the room are so close together that you can only plug 1 thing in at once. The lights in the bathroom constantly flickered and there were hairs around the sink, but I appreciated that soap was available.

The hotel is quite confusing to get to but was close to the coach stop to the airport. The reception was leaking due to the rain.

Wouldn’t stay again.

What hotel doesn’t have outlets on each side of the bed these days?
Only toiletries available is soap and only one size towel.
Chairs don’t have furniture pads. You should hear the screeching coming from above. Between the careless dragging of chairs and the yelling in the hallways. It is like a frat party.
This hotel is neither “modern”, nor is it a three star. There are better options around.

Nice stay

On arrival the staff were very friendly and engaging. Check in was reasonably quick and they even gave my child some welcome biscuits.
The room was fairly standard but comfortable. The view of the river was a bonus. The child bed folded out from a side desk but was not so comfortable because the top of the desk over hung the bed a bit and was easy to hit while sleeping.
The train station is minutes away and goes directly to Arc de triomphe, which is a good hub to access the rest of Paris.

Overall, I would recommend this hotel as there are few issues and many positives.

You get what you pay

Very dated and uncomfortable room. Booked it to be close to the Taylor Swift arena but the hotel was not clean, room had horrible smell and the window drilled to the wall so couldn't even have some fresh air.

Confirmation from hotels.com says check-in is from 12 noon.
When I got to there they told me check-in was from 14:00 but that I could pay €30 to check-in early… I showed the staff my confirmation email, but they didn’t seem interested in getting this corrected for any future guests. They even told me I wasn’t the first one… This is clearly a case of false advertising where they are trying to squeeze more money out of their clients. I understand that mistakes can happen but as no-one wants to correct this mistake it seems deliberate.

Nice standard hotel and right next to Metro 1 line (stop: Esplanade de La Defence), to be able to get into central Paris easily or connect to Gare du Nord Eurotunnel train station). If visiting Grande Arch about a 15 min walk. Room a bit warm and couldn't open windows but borrowed a hotel fan, no issues. Staff really friendly! Lifts busy around 9am. Breakfast buffet okay limited with more Euro types of food, with some scrambled eggs and bacon. Not too expensive. Would stay again. Recommended.

I am very satisfied with my choice.
The location was perfect for me enabling to get my car in a parking in Neuilly at just 10 minutes walk.
The parking rates at La Défense (the hôtel does not provide parking) are horendous.

AC doesnt work

On 1st night the AC was not working. We tried to call the reception but they were not cordial and eventually they said you need to sleep like that whole night when it was very very hot. The night shift guy was very rude as well.

Very good location right outside the station just couple of min walk, and that line takes you the the famous places Champs-Élysées and de Louvre under 15 mins.

On the whole, fine.

Good location in La Défense. No restaurant. Staff confused by our booking. Our main stay was booked by one person. I wanted another night before the main booking. That created confusion in the booking system. Took a while to sort out - which it was. On the whole it was fine.

Very small room, deficient cleaning services, missing shower gel in the bathroom - no refill, acceptable breakfast, but a lack of attention of staff - at one time there were no more dishes available, each morning. Interesting and safe surroundings, but unfortunately a continuous building, repairs etc.

I know hotel standards are lower in Europe than in North America, but this hotel is more reminiscent of a motel room than a 3 star hotel. The rooms were very outdated and looked more like student dormitories - plain white bathrooms, no art, ugly wall painted orange. Cleaning was not good, and one night my room was not cleaned at all. Breakfast was mediocre. Customer service was average.
Also, for a hotel in a business district, you would you expect for there to be an iron in your room but instead you have to go to a room in the basement to iron your clothes.

Only good thing is that the metro is nearby.

The facility and staff were great. The buffet breakfast were amazing with the price about 10. it really worth the price.
But watch for the stairs if you have luggage. We took Metro thinking the location is close, and found out we need to climb so many stairs. I'm not talking about stairs inside Metro, they are stairs outside to go to the hotel. That is a big disadvantage for this location.
Plus there are no shops around to buy things, also no restaurants. You have to go to next door Noveltel hotel to eat.

Great location, very nice staff. Only probkem is fhat the restaurant was clised on March 10, 2018. I only found out when ordered something that was supposed to be available 24/24h..... attendant made my cheese order then told me no bread....very unprofessional and fir a well known bame, tbis is simply horrible!!

No tea/coffee making facilities in the room, no proper wardrobe (just a small hanging rail in the corner of the room), the \"restaurant\" is more like a fast food cafeteria. Incredibly overpriced - double what I would expect to pay for a hotel of this standard but I suspect prices are inflated due to it being in the Business District therefore majority of people are travelling there on business expenses.

I booked a Same Day stay in Ibis, as my previous Hotel was something we didn't like so this was in a hurry. We liked the location better as eventhough it might be far from Paris main attractions, it is on a single metro ride you will get there.

Clean and affordable, but somewhat pokey

Does what it says on the tin - it's an expensive part of town to get a room so it's probably not too surprising that, for one of the more affordable prices in the area, you get a somewhat pared-back experience. That said, it's clean and tidy and breakfast was included to boot. Just don't expect much space.

American guest may feel crowded and cramped

I think as an american we are used to bigger hotel rooms. I knew this was a 3 star hotel but I had a hard time navigating around the room. Very cramped and not much space for clothing or closet space. Most of these hotels will list how many square feet or square meters the room is, the more expensive being bigger.
I found this hotel at a loss for breakfast meals, same thing every day and not much to offer.
I found the bar and food at the bar to be microwave only.
For the same price I could have stayed directly next door with room service and full accommodations.
I also found a totally nicer hotel a few hundred yards away for very similar cost.
For laundry service you can iron clothes in a room in the basement. It works and you do it yourself, but no iron in your room.
I will not go back and was happy to leave.

Only issue was the knocking on the door for \"breakfast\" ! We did not ask for a wake up call and a knocking on our door at 8 am followed by one at 8.30 after asking not to be disturbed was very very unsettling.

Nothing arround, need take metro to get shops. Bed are small (not large enough), single bed not enough large, not confortable night even if bed quality is good. No refrigerator, no enough water pressure in bathroom , toilet blocked coz they put flush in economic mode. Maintenance guy was professional and nice. In breakfast, someday that didn't refill automatically, sunday i arrived and no more small spoon, orange juice, no jam,.. Even when i asked I waited that the staff member finished his phone call. When i complain about the fact that bed is small and asked for solution they didn't want to help, they could just propose me a double bed in another room as the hotel was empty (Christmas day).

Great service and ok room size. The breakfast was very good!
The two beds were too narrow (about 1.10m or so) and not attached to each other. In addition to this they were sliding easily over the floor. As a result I fell through the slit between the beds one night, which was not pleasant at all!

Worst stay in Paris ever !

The best thing was the comfortable bed, We didn't like all the rest, the breakfast was too simple and not worth it, the room was without a closet we kept all of our stuff in the bags the whole stay it was terrible, The room was too small barley could have anything, the WiFi kept asking to sign in every time you turn it off/on, they give you only 2 towels so after the night shower you have nothing to wash up with next morning and I kept asking the reception for more towels and lots of other simple but annoying stuff...

Overbooked us ! W/t a family with a pregnant woman

I arrived yesterday with my family, included my pregnant wife and after a exhaustive day of travel, almost midnight: I arrived on the hotel and I was victim of OVERBOOKING (I paid few weeks in advance) ! Instead they place me in a better hotel and give me some compensation...They don't gave any compensation and placed me and my family in the most cheap, dirty, ugly an bad located hotel of Ibis chain !!! Bad Service !!! If you love your family, do a favor for yourself: Never consider this hotel.

Lack of small notes at the hotel

I was really surprised that the hotel front desk and the restaurant were lack of small notes (Euro currencies). I tried to get change for a $50 Euro note at the front desk when I first arrived to pay for the taxi ride, but the front desk lady said they did not have any. The same thing happened when I paid my bill at the hotel restaurant. They did not have the small change for a $50 Euro note. Perhaps the hotel can gather some small changes/notes at the front desk. Having said these, another staff member was very pleasant and polite when I checked out at the front desk. The quality of service varies a lot.
