I wish I could upload the pictures I took. The furniture was stained and gross. The place smelled of mold. What was really upsetting was the pictures online were beautiful. Once I walked in the kitchen was a dump. The bathroom was gross. I immediately tried to speak with somebody. I was only able to text. They did offer me another suite. I immediately declined. I just wanted to go home. I wish I could have gotten my money back. It is what it is. I know the place was super cheap for the weekend. I immediately found out way. Do not waste your time and money.

This was the worst stay I've ever experienced with Expedia. I do not recommend this place are comforter, sheets and bed covered in stuff all layers it was disgusting, there was no shampoo or hair dryer. There was no key pad on the door for code I was given there was only lockbox for physical key. I reported all this to contact and sent photos of everything. Including this place had so much damage from what seemed like it flooded , stains on couches and everything we wanted to leave thankfully they at least had someone drop off clean sheets as at first they told us it would be morning before we could get clean bedding so we slept on top of those

Great locations steps to the beach.

Great location with plenty of parking. Suite was spacious and clean. Sofá bed was not as comfortable but ok for a small kid. No elevators so keep that in mind as you might have to walk 3 flights of stairs.

Quick one night stay and the Inn served our purpose but bothered me I paid $59 for cleaning and place was very dirty my wife put a towel on bathroom so she wouldn’t walk on it. A smoke detector was on floor and dishwasher was full of dishes.

This property has been renovated but they certainly did it on the cheap side it was surface clean but not deep cleaned. The kids pool was filthy
The lounge chairs by the gate to the ocean were disgusting
You don’t encounter any person working the front desk or lobby because there is no one so when you have a problem good luck. I would not recommend this property

We never saw or talked with a human! Had one bath towel no face towels! Our spread on bed had blood stains! I sent a picture! Got an I apologize, That didn’t help us with morning shower! Also no soap only shampoo in the shower! Not a bad location, just not managed well for guests

Coastal Waters looking tired

Coastal Waters is a little run down and in need of some refurbishing. The construction in the unit above us may be a start to that, but it also made our stay noisy. The bathtub fixtures were difficult to use and the 4 burner stove in the kitchen did not work at all. But it is ocean front and the view of the beach was fabulous and that is why were there

The place is old but is in the process of being updated but in some areas it looks like they went with the lowest bidder.

Without night staff it got a little noisy around the pool about one in the morning and someone unlocked the door to our room and came in at 12:15AM.

It’s not 4 Seasons but a nice place nonetheless

Pros: Clean, friendly staff, location, nice pool

Cons: Entrance is poorly lit, lobby closes really early and the Room keys are actual Keys. It’s a small thing, but I would much prefer an electric lock with a card over keys.

I would be more than happy to stay here again as the pros more than outweigh the cons. I know you don’t know who the heck I am, but I recommend this hotel

We've been staying here for years during spring break. The new management is terrible. Used to be a friendly staff who helped make our family spring break fun now they treat you like you're an intruder rather than a welcome guest.
Direct Beach access is closed off now. You have to walk around the pool fencing to get to the beach and if it is your check out day they lock you out of being able to return from the beach.
Used to full with families with kids now they've run off families with excessive pool restrictions and seem to want to cater to senior citizens.

The property is on the beach with access to beach. Rooms was clean, prepared and spacious with more than enough room for one or two people. The room had small kitchenette with refrigerator and stove and adequate cooking utensils. There has not been much renovation, but if that keeps the costs down, OK with me. The staff were friendly and helpful. I had a balcony with good view of beach and ocean.
No elevators with only exterior stairs was major difficulty. Anyone with disabilities or difficulty lifting suitcases wouldn't be able to stay. If inclement weather or high heat, that would compound the problem. That is the biggest negative for this place. Also, front office is not open during the night.
I would stay again and was very satisfied with accommodations.

No frills Old Florida

No frills old Florida. Stairs only, no elevator, and stairs not steady in places. Convenient to beach, and our room was big enough for four. Even with another family reunion in full swing, our room was quiet. Kitchen not fully stocked, but grocery store is under ten minutes away. Pool is smallish, and most pool furniture is in need of repair. No hot tub. Stay here if you just need a place to land for a beach stay.

We arrived late at night and the lobby was closed. We had called and they told us where to find the key, which we did find. However, all parking places on the side by the gates were taken. The envelope with the key needs to have more specific instructions about how to get in. Poor instructions for one arriving late.

Place is old but clean. Our pull out couch was a piece of junk and our toilet was leaking because of worn out seal. They fixed the toilet but it took about 2.5 hrs. The couch we just dealt with it. Staff seemed nice. Location was perfect. Only one wall unit air conditioner for the whole unit so beware. Overall it was a good trip. We booked this place because most of the area was booked. It would not be my 1st choice to stay in the area again, but it wouldnt stop me from booking again if nothing else was available.

Do not stay here!

Never stay here!!!! Nothing like the pictures look and horrible customer service. I attempted to try and check in and hour and a half early and was scoffed at, ignored and eye rolled at. Then when we did check in my facility had trash in the bin, hair on the shower wall, fire hazard of an outlet in the bathroom, no dish soap, dirty ice in the freezer, cockroaches in the bathroom and bed and the room was nothing like it looked in the pictures. I could handle all of this, but with my booking I had hotels.com call to verify my service animals, for my ptsd, would be welcomed and notated it in the booking. We were placed in a room on the second floor only accessible by extremely steep stairs that I could not navigate because of a hurt hip I recurved with the previously stated ptsd. They were full capacity so no negotiating the room. What I can not stand for is When my fiancé took them on a walk near the facility he was yelled and berated by staff and then visited by management threatening to call hotels.com (which nothing happened because they were notated) but we waited to be kicked out of our paid for vacation like criminals. At check out the manager continued to talk back and be little me. I have never felt so stressed out from a “vacation”.

The property was really run down and dirty. We had problems with our first room, and they gave us a free upgrade. It really made me want to like the place since they were trying, but even the next room was a disaster. The bathroom smelled horrible of urine, the shower curtain was yellowing, and everything was just old and not very clean.
Having a pool was nice but it was not clean, and had brown walls and floor. Could use a major cleaning. It does have direct beach access which was the best part.
Would never stay here again.

Love This Place!!!

We love Coastal Waters Inn. It is very quiet and relaxing. The rooms are clean, staff is friendly, pool is nice, and only steps to the ocean. We love the kitchenette, Izzy's taco and ice cream is across the street. Great food. 7/11 is across the street as well. We have been enjoying Coastal Waters Inn for the last 4 years. We can't wait to return next year.

It’s a very moderately priced hotel right on the beach. It’s not first rate by any means, it’s a bit run down, but it was clean enough and comfortable enough and at a very decent price given its location. We needed a place to stay just one night before we could move into our condo and it worked very well. We would stay there again.

the tv in the room would not reboot, tried many times,it would still not work! After 1 and 1/5 hours. they finally put us in another room. A broke down dump that is being covered by paint

Staff? Um when they are there they don't even know where the ice machine is. Holes in the walls and doors. Party on pool deck until 230 am. have to walk thru construction debri to get to and from beach. no signage to room numbers. Actual issues being covered with scrap wood and painted. From the beach it looks like a abandoned homeless property.

Travelocity should have mentioned construction and not have this as an option on its website.

Nice property right on beach

This hotel is very nice, a few bugs but typical for Florida. We had a one bedroom suite with separate kitchen and living room. Close to beach, adequate parking, prompt responses to service requests. A portable fan/ac unit in bedroom was inadequate, but main ac unit in living room was great.
We had a great stay and great time in new Smyrna beach.

Coastal waters is currently under major construction. Aside from windows being blocked with biz clean plastic, shower heads falling off hitting my son in the head and leaky faucets. I rented one of my rooms with a kitchen to cook a 25th anniversary dinner and the oven did not work! It is a charming place and would definitely come back after construction is done.

They where under construction. And our balcony was not finished so didn't go out on it. It was repairs from the hurricane. The worse part is our room smelled of nothing but mild so I had sinus issues and a headache. They should have discounted the price. I will try them again after the renovations. Nice size room and the people where very nice. I think once all the construction is done it might be a nice little place. Great location on the beach also

The location was great and the staff outstanding. Major work was being done to the building from the damage down by hurricanes Irma & Matthew. They did their best considering their situation. The rooms were way too small and the bathroom needed redoing and was way too small. Our room was one what had repairs done to it, but still lacked what I expected for the price we paid. The staff was so nice and the location great, but was very disappointed in the rooms. Betty
