Everything was great, except thwt we had to change rooms because the window wouldn't close all the way and there was a gap on the wall that let noises and heat come in the room. It all made the room noisy. Second room worked out great. Staff was fantastic and super helpful!

Sao Paulo stopover

I did a stopover in Sao Paulo for a couple nights at the Transamerica Plaza. The Hotel was a decent value. The room was large comfortable and clean. The breakfast buffet was good and had a lot of choices. There were only a couple of negatives. The wifi is absolutely horrible. I would up using mobile data on my iPhone because the wifi was so slow. Also, on my first day, a couple hours after I had checked in, some new hotel guests walked into my room because reception had assigned them to my already occupied room. Fortunately I was just sitting at the desk working on my computer at the time.

A lot for a little.

It was a nice hotel but it definitely needs to be better maintained. I was on the 7th floor. I forget if it was an even number or odd number but definitely stay away from the side with the restaurant that has loud music. They usually stop around 1:30 or so but it is pretty loud for those sensitive to noise. You can't escape the street traffic from the 7th floor.

Breakfast was nice. You can't beat what you get for 65 bucks including tax. With the current brazilian currency exchange rate.. your money goes extremely far.

The title speaks.Terrible experience with an old hotel. Dirty blankets when I arrived. Very bad room smell. Very noisy place. Only few of the staff was just OK. I have no rights for complain since you get what you paid for.

Decent hotel and a great location

Just two blocks from Paulista ave with access to all the shopping and restaurants and less than five minutes walk to Metro station and ten minutes walk to Sao Paulo Art museum, You can't beat the location.

our room was clean, with fridge and safe. staff were cordial and helpful. The pool on the roof is extremely small and really should be replaced with a Jacuzi.
Taxi will cost you about 100 Rials ($45.00 dollars ) to Guaralhos international airport , and about $12.00 dollars if we you want to go to Ibirapuera Park to see other museum and sites.

We had stayed here for 1 night. The hotel is in very good shape, located less than 5 minutes walk from the metro (subway). The staff speaks very good English and Is knowledgeable. Very good wi-fi. There is a restaurant which is good as well. Great hotel for any occasion.

Situated in the Jardins in between Avenida Paulista and Rua Oscar Freire make this a safe and ideal location to be able to walk to the nicest restaurants and shopping in town just down the hill. Walk down Rua de Consolacao or Rua Haddock Lobo to Rua Oscar Freire to make the trip down to the restaurants and shopping optimal. Going the other direction, head up Rua Augusta for the clubs and young hip nightlife in a gentrifying infill location in between the Jardins and Centro.

Slow internet and blocked TV channels

Although Wifi signal was strong, the actual internet speed was very slow. It was only usable once other guests stop using it after midnight. This could be very annoying when you are there on a business trip. I also wasn't happy that some of famous/standard channels were not available such as Warner Charnnel, TNT, FX, and couple dozen more. I've stayed at other hotels in the area and these were always available. The staff was friendly and very responsive. Location is great as well.

Small but comforting, the air conditioning was the only problem (very noisy).
The other comment is related to the food, breakfast is not so good but the timing is the worst (6am - 10am). If you like to party at highly hours forgetthe breakfast.

Excelente hotel, com ótimas estrutura e localização (uma quadra da Paulista). Quarto confortável, com ótimo tamanho. Café da manhã é honesto, um pouco reduzido, mas com boa qualidade, além do buffet você pode pedir tapiocas, crepiocas, pão na chapa etc que fazem na hora. E o melhor de tudo, funcionários muito educados, prestativos e solícitos. Virou meu hotel favorito em SP. Excelente custo x benefício.

Estadia como sempre irreparável. Única ressalva foi a necessidade (desnecessária) de ter repassar todos os meus dados novamente. Frequento unidades da rede há quase quatro anos e só infirmei meus dados na primeira estadia. Mas dessa vez tive informar de novo. Talvez pela grande mudança no staff. Percebi que eram funcionários novos.
O acesso à rede wi-fi está bem mais simples de realizar.

Boa estadia.

O atendimento foi bom tanto da equipe de colaboradores da recepção como a do café da manhã. O quarto era de bom tamanho, cama confortável e travesseiros bons. Não tive problemas com barulho. O banheiro era de bom tamanho, tinha secador, bons itens de higiene oferecidos (sabonete líquido no lavatório, sabonete em barra no banho, shampoo e condicionador). As toalhas eram boas. Havia no quarto uma pia, microondas, louças, tábua de passar roupa e ferro. O frigobar era bem abastecido, porém os preços dos itens eram bens elevados.O café da manhã era muito bom, com vários itens oferecidos. A internet wifi não posso avaliar, por não ter usado. Há uma pequena academia. Fica localizado a poucas quadras da Av. Paulista. A estação de metrô Paulista/Pernambucana tem duas entradas Rua Bela Cintra e Rua Consolação , sendo as duas bem próxima do hotel. Não sei se há quartos com banheiros de acessibilidade.

O quarto é super confortável, grande e ainda tem uma mini cozinha com jarra elétrica, microondas e louças. O café da manhã é muito bom, ambiente agradável e os funcionários tanto do restaurante quanto do hotel são muito atenciosos e educados. A localização do hotel é excelente perto de várias atrações e restaurantes muito bons.

De modo geral é uma boa estadia. Todos que atendem na recepção são atenciosos e gentis. O hotel tem boa localização, sendo bem próximo da Av Paulista. O café da manhã deixa um pouco a desejar, porém, a única insatisfação que me faz repensar um futuro retorno diz respeito à qualidade do colchão e dos travesseiros. Colchão e travesseiros sem qualquer estrutura: extremamente moles. Para quem sofre de qualquer problema na coluna, não recomendo.
