I only spent 5 minutes in the Room it was filthy could not close the curtains due to them being broken beding was covered in stains bugs all over the room asked for a refund but got told no so i have to go through the bank to get my money back do not stay here pay the extra money for a better hotel

Motel in terrible condition. Room smelled bad. Office smelled like cigars and cat urine. Questionable clientele in some of the other rooms. I can say that the office staff was very nice, the sheets were clean and I didn’t see any bugs.. However, everything about the place was falling apart. This is the worst place I’ve ever stayed.

I was staying here while i visited a relative on my way to a conference. This was most definitely a you get what you pay for situation. No one is going into your room while you are away. But it is the winter circut for both HITS and WEC, so "better" hotels were out of my price range. Its not the cleanest or most modern, but it was a bed to lay my head, a warm room on some very cold nights, a hot shower, and i was safe, so not too much to complain about.

Picked this place cause it wasn’t the worst rated and not perfect. Still had 5 hours left with my drive so I got a room. What a mistake. Slept with my clothes on. Didn’t want to take a shower there. Didn’t even want to pull the bedspread a k. I had a blanket and pillow in the car. Lucky I did. Place should be torn down or throw 5-10 million to maintain it. Pictures didn’t match the room at all. Maybe 25 years ago.

The hotel is very safe. I was a woman traveling alone and I always felt safe and comfortable. Everything worked in the room. I didn’t have an issue with the bed or using anything. The fridge and microwave were great. There was hot water. I forgot to mention the issue with the bathroom before I left. There is a small hole in the ceiling above the shower. When the person in the room above showers, the water comes out of the hole. If someone smokes in the room above then the hotel room bathroom smells like cigarette smoke. I had a non smoking room. The staff were all ready nice. I was able to get around without a problem. It was in walking distance of a convenience store. 10 minutes from Gainsville. 20 minutes from Ocala.

When I got there, I could not get in because the lobby was locked at 5 pm! There was a handwritten sign saying gone to lunch!? I rang the night bell three times. No answer. I really wanted to use the bathroom before going to the game! Nope. After the game, I went back, figuring my card had already been charged. Yep. After I got a keycard and a receipt, I drove around to my room. There was a shirtless guy on the sidewalk cooking with a hot plate on a card table!? I got my stuff into the room. The TV was stuck on the Spanish language screensaver so I read a book. The shower almost had water pressure … I cleaned up and left in search of civilization.

The front desk staff was rude and unavailable when we first arrived. They had a “Back in 30 minutes” sign up and never took it down. Keeps them from being held accountable. We were late to check in, which made me late to my brother’s wake. We couldn’t even turn our key in because of the sign. There was a bandaid in the corner of the shower and it smelled like smoke. Never again.

Upon arrival we were greeted by a very grumpy receptionist, not polite. Its a 2 star hotel. How? Why? Does that mean they dont clean? All i can say is we didnt find bedbugs.

This is the worse motel my children and I have ever experienced. Dirty yellow water coming out the faucets. No smoke alarms in the rooms. We asked for a different room because our shower didn’t work they placed us in an even worse room. Refused to give us a refund after paying for a week. Basically stole our money. We had a room and there was no water in the shower and toilet in morning when we woke up, and at the sink only a trickle. Bed sheets stained but clean. Room was unclean ( had bad odor when we arrived, we had to air it out)

Pulled into parking lot and quickly realized it was no-tell motel. About a block away was the Risqué Cafe, where they “bare all!”, and pretty sure Micanopy Inn was home for the staff. Cancelled and went to Ocala

The front door doesn't work. The manager had to use the master key to let me in. When I left I had to put something between the door so I wouldn't get locked out. A very large hole in the mattress. I had to put a pillow in the hole to be comfortable. The room is a hot mess. One of the guests said they have bedbugs in their rooms

About this motel in a few simple words..
For one night only was ok. The white towels actually were not very white, probably lots of truck drivers are roaming to this hotel and the detergent used is cheap as they are not properly cleaned..
Overall was ok, the working AC and a good bed were exactly what I was looking for.
It I visit again my friends I ill stay there again, overall I liked it!!

We really enjoyed the closeness to Gainesville at a fraction of the price for other motels in the city. The staff were wonderful to deal with and we have great Wi-Fi.

Upon checking into our room there was mold all over the walls, holes in the walls stuffed with toilet paper, exposed word and cables, comforters were stained, & sheets had dirt and hair on them. No garbage can in the bathroom. The front desk staff moved us to another room that was bad just not as bad. Comforters beyond stained, no garbage can of any sort. We were told they don’t have any. Two dead bugs found on one of the beds. We had no choice but to stay as the city we are in was completely sold out. This appears to be a motel where people stay for extended times based on the clientele we unfortunately had to encounter getting to our room. My 5 year old was up all night coughing from the damp mildew smell of the room. The curtains to front window looking into the room have holes in them and are broken. I will be asking for a refund. They offered a full refund if we stayed in the first room which was beyond acceptable. I’m a flight attendant who stays in hotels 3 nights a week and I have NEVER stayed in a place this ununclean or unsanitary.

While the bed was comfy, the bathroom was in such a questionable state that i felt cleaner not taking a shower. I had to kill a spider in the room as soon as I arrived, the curtain had holes in it and did not cover the width of the window. I found about five roaches crawling around on the floor the next morning when i woke up. I wasn't planning on using the swimming pool, but the pool water was a deep murky green. I wouldn't have used it even if i had wanted a swim.

Close to where I needed to be. I stay for a bed and a shower and knew what I was getting for what used to be $40-50 a night. Now they’re wanting $80 a night so they’re going to need to step up the cleanliness game. Likes - Bed linens were nice and very nice towels. Dislikes - carpet was so dirty I had to use the nice towels on the floor to walk on. No smoke detector or garbage can. Roaches. The motel needs major renovations. It is literally falling apart. The staff there is very nice and polite which is hard to complain to them because it’s not really their fault. I blame management for this decay. The location is excellent and it’s the only motel in the area. If they would fix this place they could double what they charge per night and bring in more customers.

Hey, it’s like $40 a night. I stay here often, simply for a bed and a shower. Everything seems about as clean as you would expect. The new management seems to keep things up a little better. The rooms at least no longer smell like cigarette smoke covered up by a gallon of Fabuloso. My only real complaint is that I always book a downstairs room and rarely am I placed downstairs.

I called and told front desk that I would be checking in late as I was driving from out of state. A woman later called me and rudely asked, “You coming or not?” I arrived and immediately found a room elsewhere because I could NOT stay here. The place was filthy and scary. Immediately upon entering the room I could barely see my reflection on the grimy bathroom mirror. I didn’t need a black light to see the stains on the walls and around the bed on floors and even on the bed; all in plain sight! The curtains were missing attachments to hang on the rod so they were barely hanging and loose keeping part of window exposed. The trash can out in the breezeway was overflowing with trash. Spend $10 more and go the Days Inn in Gainesville.

Room was clean, there was coffee in the lobby, & the other guests were quiet. If you're just looking for a peaceful night's rest while traveling this is a fine spot. Very dirty room. Not vacuumed, unwashed bedding, hair from multiple hair types, bathtub very dirty, towels were unwashed,stains on everything and holes in the walls and carpets. Smells from everywhere. No WiFi modem on property for guests. Bug bites. Stay away if possible!

Absolutely filthy. Before entering we could tell it was rough; our room number was written across the door with sharpie. Once you open the door, you’re hit with the stench of dirt, old cigarettes and urine. The curtain was dirty and partially off the curtain rod. There were carpet stains everywhere, and some portions were worn thin; I wouldn’t be surprised to learn it has not been replaced since the dawn of time. 3 minutes into our shower, the water shut off and would not come back on. Pictures were hung upside down which was strange. I wouldn’t return for a stay even if it was $5/night. I wouldn’t recommend this horrible “hotel” to my worst enemy. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.
