Front desk lady was very rude and nasty. She charged my credit card multiple times till it declined. Then she charged us multiple times for a pet deposit. She needs to be trained in customer service. The property itself is good. Rooms are clean and food is very good.

This is an example of where one hotel employee can ruin a stay.

I was a last minute booking due to an issue with a vrbo and needed somewhere to stay the night with my dog. The front desk staff that checked me in were so kind and accommodating. As I was checking in I made a joke that its only my dog's second time in a hotel and she's a bit spooked by elevators- they were kind enough to offer me a ground level room which worked perfectly. The unit was clean and in excellent condition. I thought being near I-75 there might be road noise, but zero sound issues. The location was also really nice as it's near a lot of restaurants etc, but there was plenty of green space to take my dog outside. Couldn't recommend enough, I would absolutely stay here again.

I don't get the large number of glowing reviews...the hotel is Okay, but not excellent. Many of the staff we encountered were short on smiles and friendliness, we arrived after 5PM, room was not ready, were sent to another room, then after 10 mins, were told we couldn't have that room. The room we ended up in was the same layout except it was handicapped (which we did not need). The room was moderately clean, but not excellent. There was a faint \"not clean\" odor (dog?) especially when the AC was running. My son coughed all night (again, I think dogs - so maybe their $75 extra cleaning fee for having dogs in a room does not really get extra cleaning). Breakfast was ok, not great. We were given a very curt response when we asked if there were any more eggs. I read somewhere there was a renovation done recently...it didn't seem like it to me. I didn't see one smile on a staff member in the breakfast area. It was all just ok. We usually stay at Marriott properties (Esp Springhill Suites) and this stay reminded me why we rarely deviate from Marriott. Also, if you are going to book this hotel, might not want to do it through Expedia. The hotel front desk clerk made several comments about not using 3rd party bookings...I think why they did not let us stay in the first room we had.

This hotel is older, a few little things in our room needed repair. Still a decent stay. Breakfast had more veriaty compare to other hotels. The bad thing - there was a dead german roach in the bathroom. But maybe the fact that it was dead shows they address the problem.

The price gouging was pretty awful. I could not believe it cost us $400.00 to stay just one night. That was way over priced. Very sad, because it is one of our favorite hotels. The staff was excellent, especially Marcel. He welcomed us after a long drive and was so positive and helpful. He checked us in quickly and was so sweet. Also, the staff during breakfast and the happy hour on Monday were fantastic. All very nice and very helpful. An added plus was the guest laundry service! What a great amenity!

We loved the spacious 2 bedroom suite, with 2 bathrooms. It is hard to travel as a family of 6 and comfortably fit in one room, our stay at Staybridge was very comfortable and clean! And the breakfast was amazing!

We checked in around midnight. We noticed that one of the beds had dirty sheets. We slept I. The same bed that night and I took pictures down stairs the next morning to show the front desk. She assured me the sheets would be changed that day. We left and came back that night to find the same dirty sheets in the bed and a set of clean sheets sitting on the table. I went down stairs and talked the the desk person that once again apologized and she she left notes for that to be taken care of. That she didn’t understand why it wasn’t done. We checked in on Thursday and checked out on Sunday and the same dirty sheets were still on the bed and the clean ones sitting on the table. Will not stay there again. Also the shower was dirty and never got cleaned

The old saying “you get what you pay for is true! When we booked the Staybridge in Gainesville, FL we thought it was a little pricey. But the beautiful and well kept property along with some of the friendliest staff we have ever encountered made our stay memorable. The hotel is in a new area of town with about every restaurant available and lots of nice hotels - aWe were in town for a plant workshop but the host hotel sold out the block of rooms, then sold out two smaller blocks and the block at a nearby overflow hotel. I just got on Expedia and researched hotels convenient to our workshop facility. We were 7 miles away by interstate south of the host facilities…easily accessed in less than ten minutes. Check in was quick and simple, the personnel at the desk was extremely friendly and always asked when we were walking through of everything was good and if we needed anything. We found the breakfast area large, bright and cheery! Food selections were pretty standard - fake eggs but well cooked with sausage along with cereals, DIY waffles, grits and oatmeal…we were thrilled to find sugar free syrup - not something always available. We both commented that the quality of some of the foods was top notch and way above average tor hotel breakfasts! We wanted to give a particular shout-out to Pam who served in the breakfast area who was always friendly, accommodating and meeting customers with a positive word and smile!! We’ll be back!!!

Wow this was a great place! We stopped in very unexpectedly with 3 young children after a vehicle breakdown. Everything was fantastic! Plenty of room, clean, new and classy. Not only did they have free appetizers and drinks in the lobby but the free breakfast was way better than any other ive seen!

Perfect place for our friends trip!

Beautiful & clean hotel. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite with friends & everything was perfect - room sizes, amenities, etc. Breakfast was delicious & the area was clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Our #1 place to stay

My husband has to go through medical procedures and we always stay here. It’s alway a very quiet place . Since it’s in a college town they do not allow parties. It’s has an easy access to I 75 and most restaurants & shopping. Since we are an older couple I find it very easy to get to many things. In the summer the pool area is fantastic especially with a barbecue
grill area. It very pretty area. The breakfast area is very clean & nice for a quick breakfast. The even social is nice that serves wine. This is our number one place to stay in Gainsville
