Robert
Staff was very nice and quick to assist with some minor requests. I could hear the people above us walking around in the morning but that seams to be a common hotel thing these days.
Elmira
I had a problem with noise and Reginald quickly got it resolved allowing me to get some much needed rest and relaxation. Reginald is a great example of the best thing about staying at a Marriott... it's people are wonderful.
Lorraine
Only an overnight stay, but good location, clean, room was nice.
ronnie
We checked into our room to find that it was infested with love bugs that were coming in through the a/c vent. By the time we tried to figure out how to keep the bugs out, packed our luggage, and went to ask for another room the lobby/front desk was empty. So we left and booked a room at another hotel.
We have stayed here several times and have never had an issue before. Hoping for a refund!

Connie
Top shelf hotel with great staff and delicious breakfast.
David
Room was OK, a little spartan, tight and small. Main issue is that a cockroach came into our bathroom overnight and died next to the shower. I'm pretty sure he wasn't dancing on our toothbrushes before that, but who knows. Welcome to Florida.
Kimberly

The front desk staff was very professional, good job
Elzie
The front desk personnel very professional, and attention to detail, they are a company asset, very good job, need to be rewarded.
Lisa
Staff was great. Our TV stopped working so the moved our room. We packed up and got to a different room and our toilet wouldn’t flush. It was late so we just lived with it. Staff was accommodating and apologetic. It wasn’t too bad for the money. Located next to a lot of stores and food. Right off of the highway. Large amount of homeless folks around the area.
GARY
Quick check-in. Clean location.
Amanda

Amanda

Adriana
Staff from front desk, bistro and housekeeping are all very polite and accommodating. My only \"dislike\" coffee and breakfast starts at 6:30. Had to drive to local Starbucks each morning
Linda
This was my first time staying in Gainesville and I love this location! The staff was so friendly from the second I walked in to the second I walked out. The rooms were nice, typical. Everything was clean. I will definitely stay here again. There are so many places to eat and shop in that area, so it’s very convenient.
Michael
Very convenient.
Kimberly
Staff was nice, check in was efficient, room was clean.
Juan Carlos
Excellent service. 100% Recommended.
Brenda
Everything was good but when I arrived I had a woman come up to me asking for money that I didn’t like. The staff was very nice
Alan
Our room the bathroom fan kept us up at night. It was so loud when we turned it on the shower. We had to wait 5 to 10 minutes for hot water. The shower floor is so slippery. I had to hang onto the walls and the shower also leaked. The bed was very uncomfortable. We will not be staying there again.

Clean & comfortable
Nancy
The hotel was very clean and updated. There was plenty of free parking. The hotel is located just across from a shopping center with a Publix and other stores and restaurants. It's also very close to UofF and Shands.
John
For an over night stay it was good. Very close to highway. Would stay here again.
Christine
Very good. Very convenient. The staff was friendly

The only issue we have is while taking a shower the warm water alternated with cold water & the shower floor was slippery - had to really be aware.
We were disappointed that the outdoor fireplace was ‘broken down’ but understood.

I was upset to see my bill. I purchased a bottle of wine....small, two glasses and they added a \" room fee\" of 37.00. Tatal was almost 60.00 for 2 glasses of wine. Wont go back for this reason.

My go-to hotel stopover in Florida when on my way to cruise out of Port Canaveral or Miami the next day.
Constance
There was a terrible smell in the room. Some kind of very strong air freshener or something sprayed to cover up some other smells. I told the front desk and he said all the rooms were like that. I kept the door open for hours hoping it would go away. But it didn’t. We could not get our money back because I did it online. It had a no cancellation. In the middle of the night, it got so bad I couldn’t breathe and I had to go outside and sleep in the truck for most of the night,

Nice property in the hotel “district” of Gainesville. A couple of issues we experienced- no daily cleaning of the room in a 4-night stay, which was odd. No new towels or trash pickup. We spoke to the housekeepers on our floor but obviously some confusion. The last night we were awakened to gunshots outside our 2nd floor window. Not sure where the shots came from but was still a bit disconcerting.

Paper Thin Walls
Very noisy hotel, you could here the traffic from the interstate and the walls were paper thin, I could hear the people in the next room talking

This time I was put in a room at the end of the building furthest from i75 and it was much quiet than the previous time I stayed there. I would ask for the east end of the hotel if possible.
Nancy
Service on day shift is needing some help. I asked for extra pillow so i could prop my booted foot and they never showed up with them. The overnight guy was friendly

So pleasantly surprised! Our room has been renovated and its wonderful! Comfy beds and the shower is fantastic! No shower curtain to deal with is a HUGE plus!
Tim
Walls and ceiling are paper thin, and can hear everything. It kept me up hearing all the noise of people talking late into the evening, and hearing the thumping from people walking normally across their room above us.
Otherwise, it was a nice, clean, modern room and service was good.

Bed and restaurant
Asked for a king bed with sofa and crib but got a double bed instead. The tv was stuck on the Marriott channel. Restaurant area is nice, limited menu. Nice to have the choice to get food here which we did and a drink.
Michael
I’d stay more when visiting Gainesville.

Terrible
Where to start..I reserved a room with a king bed and a sofa bed. Got to the room and no sofa bed. They did not have another one on the property. Was told there was nothing they could do. Someone in our party had to sleep on the floor. The room was clean but everywhere else was being renovated. Reno started 2 days prior to our stay, so the lobby was closed, all the walls were missing baseboards, there were buckets everywhere, tools everywhere and dust as well. Everything about this stay was absolutely unacceptable.
Michelle
Wonderful staff and property have stayed here before and it has never disappointed
Brian
Nice location
Michael
Very close to shopping, plenty of restaurants in the area. Staff are very friendly and helpful, would definitely return stay. Only draw back to the room is there was no microwave, other then that it was great.

Luke
Good stay, but......
Service experience was excellent. Hotel had recently been remodeled and some of the finishes were not excellent but it was clean and about what you would expect from a Courtyard Marriot. Did not like that the food and coffee options in the morning only consisted of a Starbucks. $10 for coffee and a bagel was not a good way to start the day. Personally would have preferred to pay more for the room and have some food options like most other hotels in this price range. The wait at the Starbucks was too long given the staff size.
