Convenient location. Spacious rooms. Super nice staff. Clean rooms
Neha
Great location. Staff was friendly.
Julie
It was close to a lot of places to walk which was good because parking was hard so you had to do valet. No soda machines on property which was an inconvenience.
Lisa
The whole lobby area smelled like perfume. I think that is a thing with higher end hotels.
Check-in staff very friendly.
Clean room, nice amenities. Refrigerator in room.
Pool top roof deck is tiny. No bar up there.
Valet parking is expensive, but it was nice to call ahead and have my car ready.
Good value for money paid.

The valet was convenient

Perfect place to stay while visiting the University of Florida! Great location! Perfectly situated in walking distance to restaurants, bars, and Starbucks. Hotel lobby has a delightful bar that served craft cocktails. Loved this hotel.
Ana
Great stay. Near UF campus. Nice and clean
Laszlo
There was no breakfast offered at 7:30AM only coffee tea and apples
Cheryl
Everything was great.
Randy
Hreat hotel, tight by uf campus
Melinda
Our room was very run down...from scrapes on the walls, toilet was loose and wobbled when using. There was zero water pressure in the sink. The floors throughout the room were desperate for a good cleaning.
Raymond
This booking was a miss reservation was trying to book Gainsville GA, not Gainsville FL. Realized the error upon confirmation and tried to correct via Expedia virtual agent. Expedia many years ago gave customers the ability to reach a live agent now they do not. I could have explained in the past the error and cancelled within minutes with a live agent. I paid for two hotel stays the same night even after contacting Expedia under a minute of receiving confirmation. Being a Platinum Member is meaningless under their new system.

Chinmay
Overall at a good location. But rooms are too basic and dont have a great view of campus.
Anthony
Great place to stay if visiting UF in Gainesville. Across street from campus. Very convenient. Seemed like one of the nicer hotel options in the area as well.
Melodie
Stay at this hotel often, slipped in the shower the last trip and this trip there was a live five inch roach in my shower.
Ransford
Politeness of the employees

Only thing that was probably was the unavoidable 5 AM Fire Alarm.
Jason

Great location as we were in town for a student tour of UF. Easy to valet and check in. Very clean lobby, room and bathroom. Cool pool on rooftop with great UF views.

Central location to University of Florida. Easy checkin/out. Rooms were great. Valet was efficient even when busy.
Shervin
I had an amazing time but I was given a price that wasn’t what expected prior to arriving. Overall I loved it!
Kenia
Breakfast was poor. Not many options. Not hot milk.
I had stayed at AC hotels many times and this is the worse experience.
Very expensive as well.

Perfect place for a weekend trip to visit your college kid.
Anne
We arrived late (2AM) and the staff was so friendly for that time of night. And gave us a much needed late checkout!
Daniel
Great UF location
Nice facility, friendly staff, ease of use. We had to change rooms because several electrical outlets didn’t work and the shower floor was very slick. The breakfast is convenient but hardly worth the money. On our last day, they dropped a forty two dollar bill on our table for cold eggs and sausage, for two diners. I had received a ‘final’ bill from AC for our stay via email. When the Missus asked for a hard copy upon checkout, the billing was different, substantially.
Fun location with plenty of walkable restaurants and young adults.
It’s sad to see the homeless milling about. I’m always counting my blessings.

It’s always great when I get to stay at AC Hotel in Gainesville.
Melissa
Great place to stay if you are visiting University of Florida Campos
Joyce
The people at the front desk went out of ther way to help.
Robert
The water pressure was extremely low. I could barely brush my teeth. We only had one bath towel and had to wait awhile for them to bring more. That was after calling the front desk 5 times, but they did not answer, so I finally called the outside line using my cell. and got to talk to someone. The hotel was nice in the lobby and was sufficiently clean, but it's sometimes the little things that make or break the experience. I would not feel loyal to this hotel if I went back to Gainesville.
Jennifer
Great hotel at UF
Perfect for visiting UF. Very close to campus and we walked to a lot of places from here. Food and coffee also within a couple minutes walk
Miryam
Close and convenient location. Very friendly employees and valet parking.

Cannot thank Ashley enough for her tremendous customer service and assistance for our daughter who is stranded and needed some guidance and help.

Clean. Easy. Ready for my arrival.

Not my favorite hotel stay.
We checked in late as we got stuck in horrible traffic. So our road trip was extended an extra 3 hours so we were exhausted. We get to our first room and it was used. TV was on sheets were pulled back and pillow had an indent like someone was sleeping, the bathroom had used towels laying around and the soap was open. In the moment and being exhausted we went down stairstairs to sort this out not realizing until the next day I left my boots in the first room when I placed them down. We check the desk. No one has stayed in that room since but boots were not there. We check with desk that night and they said room service would have them and they have left. So next morning when checking out we ask the desk.

Had to pay for valet that was required and room was a little dirty. Empty water bottle on the floor and hair on the shower walls

“Are you stupid?”
I was patronized and treated as if there is no difference between a room on an higher floor, and a “better” room. They kept asking me which would I rather have because I couldn’t have both. The rooms were the same except one was on a higher floor.
Nate
Nice hotel, facility and staff. They charged me for valet fees every day that I stayed in the hotel, even though I never even used the valet. They also NEVER came to clean our rooms!!
Stephanie
Clean, well appointed, friendly and quick check in and valet parking.
Verified traveler
Rooms were never serviced or items replenished.
Heather
Great!
Theodore
Very nice property. Nice features, like rest rooms outside fitness area (with hand sanitizer dispensers on the door!)
Ingrid
I enjoyed our stay, there are plenty of places to eat around, grocery store within walking distance. In this occasion we chose to stay again in this hotel because were going to a volleyball game at FAU, which the stadium is walking distance from AC Hotel, works perfect! Only thing we don’t like is that is only ballet parking but at least they have the option to help parking your car for a fee ☺️ so that is fine.
Lissette
Love the property but find it inconvenient that rooms do not have microwave inside and its not the first time that we stay at this hotel and ice machines on floor are not functioning.
Dan
Great hotel - best Gainesville option if you want to be in a great location. Would be nice if the lobby didn't blast music at 7am for those of us who want to head down and work and have breakfast. Maybe a little quieter or maybe wait til 9am?. It's not the One Hotel in South Beach.
Alison
Great location. Nice hotel, clean rooms, comfortable bed, nice valet guys.
Jessie
Great stary
Hillary
My air conditioning stopped working during my final night (in hot, humid Florida in the middle of July) so that was rough but otherwise it was a good stay
Veronica
I only stayed one night but it was perfect.
Adriana
Unfortunately I had to clean the shower drain because it was clogged. Other than that, nice hotel and convenient location.
Andrea
Great location
Marilyn
Not all that
Room ok recliner broken, only one regular coffee, an empty lotion and the wordt breakfast, hard bagel, churros
Nicole
The hotel was clean, my room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable. As a sort of bathroom snob, the shower was fantastic with plenty of water pressure. Staff was courteous and professional.
My only complaint, and this is only for area of improvement, is that valet is mandatory. They were extremely busy on Monday morning and it took 15 min to get my car. I would have liked the option to get my own car. Otherwise, great hotel and I would return again.

Everyone we encountered at the is place was very friendly. We enjoyed our stay. The lobby was nicely appointed and welcoming. Stephanie was very pleasant and made our check-in and check-out very easy. The housekeeper on our floor was very pleasant. All of the men who worked in valet were professional and friendly. The items offered for breakfast were not that good. Our room was clean and spacious enough for our needs. The bathroom could have been cleaned a little better but overall we had a nice stay and we’d stay there again when in the area.
Anna
Valet option is a must.
Vivian
Very convenient hotel. Walkable to UF. Our room had issues with the A/C. Room did not cool down. Engineer had to come out and fix.
Verified traveler
Our first room’s AC wasn’t working correctly. The staff tried everything to fix it in a timely manner. When it was determined it couldn’t be fixed, they moved my family to another room. The room was clean, nice and quiet. Close to campus too. We will stay here again in the future.
BLAKE
Great location
Sharon
The property was just fine. However, travelocity did not submit my reservation to the hotel for the two rooms I paid for. Only one room was available, meaning we had to share a bed. I expect a refund IMMEDIATELY!!!!!
Kenneth
Nice, clean hotel close to campus. Restaurants and grocery store within walking distance.
