The room was disgusting. Stains on the bedding, the walls, the floors, everything. There were bugs, dead and alive throughout the room. If you try to inform the staff of the multiple issues they will brush it off and say “oh the maids are usually great”, truthfully the room looks like it hasn’t been cleaned since the hotel originally opened. Definitely not a clean or safe environment.

Paid over $500 for one night to see a local concert and it was all that was available. There was blood on the walls, ripped up chair, window was broken/cracked on the outside, love bugs flying in the room. Roughly 3/4” wide gap in the drywall running around most of the window. Probably where bugs were getting in. The place is nasty. I have photos and video as proof. I should have just bought an air mattress for my SUV. Never again.

This place is a definitely one night stay. We got price gouged because of the Morgan Wallen concert. But every hotel in the area was taking advantage of it. As far as the room it smelled liked bad body odor and cigarettes. If I'm not mistaken this was not a smoking section of the hotel if there is even any. The bathroom door was rotten borrom right near the tub, and water leaks somehow from the shower in that area it was all over the floor we had to put towels down unaware of where it was coming from. The bed sheets smelled as if they didn't change them, and same with the pillow covers. If it wasn't because we got there around 3:00 in the morning from the concert I would have just left. I'll never stay at this place again.

It was a place to stay while visiting my sister at UF shands hosp. She’s been there 90 days after liver transplant.

The place was exactly what I expected for $70 night.
Wasn’t expecting 10 when I only paid for 3.

When leaving reviews ppl should remind themselves you get what you pay for. If you want more amenities or updated room don’t reserve one at $70 night stay.

Thank you to red roof.

I can say who’s ever running this place needs to get more help and I wish they would clean rooms and replace towels daily.

It's in a good area walkable to Target several restaurants and it's relatively close to anything you want to drive to....

The room is more than adequate. Good space. It was a tile floor. They allow the first pet for free. I had an esa. The shower was in good shape

The outside of the building has some major work that needs to be done... I guess water has gotten back behind the lathe and there are lots of cracks etc.

The water for the shower... Let's just say this. I got wet... Very little shower pressure.... However, the water gets very hot!! So pluses and minuses there. It was no mold or mildew in the shower.

The beds were not very comfortable.

But showing up for a quick visit. Everything was in the tolerable range. The front staff and the manager were very kind and hospitable.

So location, clean shower and hot water, and a clean bed (even if it wasn't extremely comfortable)... Is why it has such a good rating.

We booked this stay through Expedia. Upon entering the room, we encountered significant cleanliness concerns, including visible black mold in the bathroom area. Due to health concerns, we did not feel comfortable staying and left the property immediately.

We contacted the front desk and attempted resolution but were unable to obtain a refund. We ultimately did not stay at the property.

This was disappointing, and we hope management addresses these issues for future guests.
