My wife’s experience: “My stay was extremely disappointing and unsettling. I was traveling alone with my young son, and what should have been a simple overnight stay turned into a frightening experience.
Upon entering the room, it appeared to have been heavily sprayed with Febreze, seemingly to mask other unpleasant odors. Unfortunately, the room was not clean, as there was visible dirt and debris on the beds. To make matters worse, a spider jumped out from the TV area and lunged toward my son, which was alarming.

The receptionist was also very rude and unhelpful during check-in. As my son and I walked to our room, there were large groups of men gathered throughout the property—standing along the walkways, outside open room doors on both the first and second floors, and congregating around the pool area. There was a constant sense of people watching what was happening in the rooms and around the property.

The most frightening part of the experience was walking to our room. As a mother traveling alone with her child, I felt especially vulnerable when several men appeared to move from the second floor to the first and seemed to follow us from a distance in different directions. Whether intentional or not, it made us feel very unsafe and uncomfortable.

Overall, the combination of the unclean room, poor customer service, and the atmosphere around the property made this one of the worst hotel experiences I've had. I immediately checked out and left to another hotel.”

Booked a room for 4 of us, had 2 bath towels. Tv remote didn’t work, one person working at the front desk. Everyone was there for the Morgan wallen concert & their rooms weren’t even ready at 4:30! Thankfully ours was. One hand soap, nothing to use in the shower. Won’t be staying there again.

Completely unprepared for a busy concert weekend. Was told early check in was approved when I called 4 days prior only to get to the hotel with a sign on the door stating \"no early check ins, no exceptions\". When I questioned the lady at the desk I was met with a massive attitude. 4 pm was the check in time and the room was not ready until 5:30 pm. This is unacceptable. Needless to say, we were pate for the concert due to this. Listing photos were also completely deceiving as to what the property looks like.

Worst experience EVER! Tried to check in a little earlier and the lady rudely blurting sure for $40... really?!?! Not that there wasnt anything available but she said \"they told me to charge a $40 fee even 30 minutes before time because theres a concert happening down the street\". We definitely knew that but it was how she said it and charging more because of a concert ummm no u got enough off of me already! Stood in line at check in time with 7 other people and 1 lady running the front desk (luckily she was nice and pretty fast) but still only 1 when u know theres a concert down the road?? Fi ally get in the room... 2 towels, no wash cloths, no trash bags, floor wasn't swept table had trash on it wasn't cleaned n ready at all! The location was perfect and breakfast was decent. One exit away however we found several very nice hotels for almost the same price guess who's getting my business if I go there again!?!?!

Called to ask if we could check in early. Clerk said yes but left out the $40 fee. We had 4 people in the party and they only provided 1 key because they were out. The room only had 1 towel and 1 wash cloth (that was dirty). The tub still had hair in it and the mini shampoo, conditioner, and body wash bottles were already used. There was medical tape stuck to the wall. There was food in the refrigerator. I do not believe the room was cleaned. The sheets looked “clean”. Luckily we only needed the room for a few hours after a concert. We slept on top of the sheets for a few hours until check out.

I stayed at this hotel while visiting Gainesville for my daughter’s graduation and unfortunately had a very poor experience. The room was missing basic amenities, including a room phone, coffee maker, microwave, and hair dryer. There were no toiletries provided, and at 11 PM I had to ask for soap and shampoo and I was told to go to Walgreens to buy toothpaste. I was also informed there would be no room cleaning during my stay. The pillows were old and uncomfortable.

The hotel appeared overcrowded, with over 200 occupants who were migrant workers throughout the property, creating constant noise and disturbances. The worst issue occurred on my final night. Guests in the room above me were extremely loud from around midnight until 3 AM, then again starting around 6:45 AM. It sounded like furniture being dragged, jumping, and metal objects clanging on the floor.

When I went to the front desk for help, the office was closed, locked, and completely unstaffed. The emergency number posted on the door went unanswered. I ultimately had to call the non-emergency police line twice. Officers responded around 2 AM, but the noise continued afterward.

I traveled from Texas for an important family event and left exhausted after getting virtually no sleep. Overall, the lack of basic accommodations, unavailable staff, and sleepless final night made this a very disappointing stay.

Don’t stay here. I checked in and when I got into my room I didn’t take my shoes off or touch the bed. I traveled 5 hours to see a concert and planned to spend the night and leave the next morning. The lamp shades had yellow stains, the floor was muddy, no garbage can, light switches were sticky. The rooms are outside and the door doesn’t go to the floor, bugs EVERYWHERE. Then I was changing and another guest used a key to unlock my door. They gave my room to another guest after I checked in. Ironically, the guests were given my room when their room was disgusting. I packed my stuff up and had no intentions of sleeping here. Went to the concert and had a great time. I came back to the room about midnight and it was covered in love bugs. I grabbed my suitcase and drove home through the night. 100 dollars a night and a 20 dollar early check in fee, for the 20 minutes it took me to change my clothes and store my suitcase.

Are you looking to be catfished by a hotel? Say no more. The pictures here will have you convinced you’re dating a 10, but when you meet, you will quickly realize that she’s a 4 with shapeshifting capabilities. The hotel claims to be renovated but it’s really like a mullet (cleaned up in the front, hot mess in the back), dipped in the crud of dirty frat boys and slathered with a new coat of paint.

Dirty floors, nasty bathrooms, crusty walls BUT legit clean beds. So that’s why it gets a 3….otherwise this place is a 1. Enter at your own risk and Godspeed.

Got there well past check in and the desk person told us she didn’t even think our room was ready. She left the 10 minutes later said it was ready. We walked in and the floor was soaking wet. Used a towel to dry it and the towel was BLACK. Toothpaste was on the wall between the bathroom and the door. You could see the dirt lining the walls. Best part was the giant roach that ran across the floor running across my daughter’s foot the morning we were getting ready to leave the room. 10/10 don’t recommend

i booked a room with double beds for 2 nights back in August 2025 to attend a graduation ceremony. when arriving to check in late at night the front door was closed there was a note taped to the door that the hotel is sold out and for emergencies to make a call. I did, Angie came and checked us in, a double bed room wasn't available only a room with one kind bed, I was left with no choice but to take it. when arriving to the room the door was half way open. above all the sink got clogged and the restroom as well. the following day Angie made her best to make it right and we were switched to another room with 2 beds on the first floor as requested. generally the room was in good condition with all amenities as mentioned. cleaning wise for the most parts was good but the floor, mainly the bathroom wasn't clean.

I never written a review on hotels.com before because I had a high level of tolerance with bad service. Ive always been a nice person. But this one was different because I had the worst nightmare experience when I stayed there the end of April. I checked in and was assigned to a room that was still occupied. Then she did. So I asked for a hairdryer, I was forced out of the hotel, I got a cop visit. Two cops came, they asked what was going on, I told the story, they were reasonable and didn’t say anything because I was ready to leave. I could tell this was not the first time they had this. They let me go. Friends, this was the best “quality “ service at Quality Inn. This property should be removed from hotels.com.

The cheap 20 year old TV in the room didn’t work. Had to ask housekeeping and she gave me instructions on how to keep reprogramming remote in order to get the remote to sync. Oh and the breakfast is over at 9 and cheap towel. Yes I said towel as in one so you have to ask housekeeping if you want more than one for the room. Terrible motel zero stars!

I didn't even end up staying... The photos online are an inaccurate depiction. The area doesn't feel safe, there are no surveillance cameras, my door had gaps in it, this room was non smoking but smelled of old stale smoke, the desk clerk was on a personal phone call when I checked in. The air conditioner was broken in the first room. When they moved us to the second room, up on the 2nd floor, it was occupied by other people. The third room, back down on the ground floor, was empty so we finally were able to stay there. The staff was horribly unhelpful to the point of telling us they didn't have toilet paper for the rooms. After being promised the pool was open, we discovered they closed it to \"clean\" but it stayed green the entire visit.

Spots on the bed spread and the TV had to be turned off manually,the remote control was useless,but the front desk clerk did bring me a new bed spread and I slept on it but pillow cases were nasty to so I was really ready to leave but I paid for the weekend so I tough it out and the pool was going to be ready Saturday but after seeing that room and hated to return back to the room but I was so tired. I was very disappointed in my stay but the breakfast was very nice and the cook worked very hard, so good job to the cook.

You can tell they have done some renovations to this property. The room was nice, but the outside environment was so sketchy. People were constantly smoking weed outside our room and there was probably a 2 or 3 inch crack in the door, so our entire stay we wreaked of weed. I had to open the door at 5:30 in the morning to ask our “neighbors” to please quiet down because we were trying to sleep. I made the front desk aware of my complaints and they looked at me like I was the crazy one. Also, you get 2 towels and 2 rags your entire stay (we are a family of 4). We were supposed to stay 4 nights, but it was so bad we left a night early.

When we arrived the air was turned on very cold and there was condensation on the ceiling, walls, furniture, and mirrors. The entire room was wet. There were no towels in the room so we couldn’t even wipe the moisture off to set our luggage down. There was no bag in the trash can and there was hair on the bathroom floor. We travel often and extensively and I have NEVER before posted a bad review........... but I feel obligated to warn others with my experience at this specific Quality Inn. Prior to making a reservation I reached to confirm they had queen beds, on the first floor, available at time of my call. They did, I immediately made the reservation. Later I called to alert the front desk that I would be arriving after 3:00 am and would still be in need of the 2 queen beds on 1st floor, and additional roll-away bed. I was assured all would be ready and my arrival noted for other staff to be aware. I arrive at 4:02am and a very nice young man informed me he did not have a room for me. He was sweet, but talked in circles, over and over about getting a different room ready, about other guests, having the room used only briefly.... instead of clarifying quickly he chatted, went back and forth to other rooms to ultimately find a second floor room at the very last and furthest point from the hotel entrance. He told me he gave someone the room but they didn't stay, however he had to change the sheets??? (rented by the hour???)? Also, he could not get the roll away bed upstairs.... that my 16 year old son had to carry it because the staff member had a bad back. My son carried the rolls away bed which consisted of a metal frame, headboard and box spring.... not mattress. Staff was ok. However my experience with this place was HORRIBLE! My room was a king bedroom. I had to deal with bugs of every kind along with an infestation of gnats all night long. Not to mention I was unable to rest due to a younger crowd of teenagers (possibly college students) loitering in front of my room door at 3am, yelling and cursing, speaking vulgar obscenities for about an hour straight. As I went to notify the front desk, I then discovered that my telephone in the room didn't even work! I had to cancel my reservation after 1 day, and was then told that I may not even get a partial refund!!!!! I was livid! It was completely unacceptable to be treated that way in a place where you expect to get rest and relaxation. I WILL NEVER EVER BE STAYING AT ANY QUALITY INN AGAIN!

We arrived at 3 pm to check into our room. The clerk assigned me a room and handed me keys. We got to our room with all of our bags in tow, to open the door and find the room was not cleaned and smelled like cigarettes. We took our bags back to the car, went to the lobby and the lady says,\" Well I don't have the updated housekeeping list.\"
I told her that was fine I had an event to go to and that I would be back around 8pm. She said she would have a room ready for me. We arrived back at the hotel at about 815pm, she slid keys to me when I walked in and we went to our room she assigned. Again we had all of our bags in tow. We opened the door and it \"had been cleaned\" however, there were bugs on the walls, stains on the linens, black gunk in the bathroom shower cracks. At this point me and my 2 kids were exhausted and just decided to get in the car and drive back home after leaving that morning at 6am and driving 4 hours to get to Gainesville. I went to the lobby, asked to speak to a manager and the girl up front told me there wasn't a manager on duty. I explained to her that there were bugs, dirty stained linens and NOT ONCE did she apologize or offer to make anything right, This was the worst Hotel experience I have ever encountered.

Bedding for both beds were filled with stains. Bathroom did not look like it was properly cleaned. People smoking in rooms next to us (no smoking allowed) where you could smell it coming into our room. For breakfast when asked about napkins, creamer, coffee lids, and more items they informed us they’ve been out of stock of these items for over two weeks.

the sheets were dirty the pool was empty and had nasty amount of water in bottom green . unsafe activity in back in morning multiple cops had someone in cuffs in back of hotel we ended up checking out early unsafe dont book there trust me discusting and dont book expedia for not refunding me after i left because of that

Old but comfortable

The lady at check-in was amazing but the owner should be ashamed to have had 1 person working on a sold-out night. She was trying to do everything with everyone arriving at the same time after the races. She helped with broken TVs, missing remotes, an ignorant client, all with a smile.

Certainly the same cannot be said about the morning person who was ignorant and unfriendly. She did not speak, just pointed her finger to the breakfast room without raising her head from her notepad. There was no breakfast available by 8:20am and she didn't care; not even a juice or cold drink in the cooler.

Rooms are older and TVs not great, but beds were comfortable and clean. Air conditioner old and noisy. This property does not look like the online photographs. Hotels.com should take new photos to give true representation of property. The pool was also not in use; completely empty.

Can't say enough good things about the girl at the desk on check-in, doing what she could to get things right for the hotel guests, but no one should be left to manage a known sold-out property by themselves.

Short stay

This hotel was convenient to our activities. There’s a Walgreens right next to it, a Waffle House and Dunkin’ Donuts across the street. It’s close to Santa Fe College. It’s showing it’s wear and tear and we thought was too expensive for the condition ($229 nt) but we parked outside our room, it was quiet, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Good start, horrible finish

Check in went as usual. Nothing terrible. Our down slide started that night with gunshots being heard in the area. Then Breakfast, or at least the feeble attempt, continued the OMGs. \"No egg products due to rising prices\" was the rationale. No bagels. No muffins. White bread only. Waffle machine. No cereal. No OJ, only kool aid. Had to ask for a refill of the milk container. No PButter. No Cream Cheese. There was sausage...tiny patties. So a sausage white bread sandwich it was. Then I noticed the lobby. I'm truly hoping that there was major renovation occurring and not a demolition stopped of the interior walls. Exposed insulation. Peeling paint. A light that flickered at an annoying high rate of speed. AND the desk staff sat on the phones. Only the one food area attendant was making any effort at all. All in all, this facility needs to lose its place within Choice Hotels. It is an embarrassment to the chain.

Overall, it wasn't bad. Room was clean and location was right by the interstate which was nice. It appeared that they were very limited on supplies like pillows and wash cloths. They would only do housekeeping after 3 days. Only 1 small garbage can in the whole room including the bathroom so that was tough. The one thing I didn't like was no phone in the room to call the front desk with any questions. Very small seating area for breakfast. Same breakfast items both days I stayed there.

Horrible room, smelled like cigarettes, no towels, no hand soap, barely any toilet paper, the door knob on the bathroom was broke and completely fell off locking u in the bathroom, bathroom smelled like a wet dog, beds were paper thin and had stains all over the comforters, however the lady at the front desk was very nice, super friendly but I would NEVER stay here again especially since I paid $180 for one night.
