We took pics of bugs in te bathroom. Expedia can't reach the hotel to arrange a refund. The agent in the office acted like she could care less. She had the nerve to keep saying we got a great deal on the room, like we should just deal with the bugs because of that. Aweful experience. We changed hotels after one night!

I didn't even end up staying... The photos online are an inaccurate depiction. The area doesn't feel safe, there are no surveillance cameras, my door had gaps in it, this room was non smoking but smelled of old stale smoke, the desk clerk was on a personal phone call when I checked in. The whole experience was so sketchy I decided not to even stay.

The air conditioner was broken in the first room. When they moved us to the second room, up on the 2nd floor, it was occupied by other people. The third room, back down on the ground floor, was empty so we finally were able to stay there. The staff was horribly unhelpful to the point of telling us they didn't have toilet paper for the rooms. After being promised the pool was open, we discovered they closed it to \"clean\" but it stayed green the entire visit.

Spots on the bed spread and the TV had to be turned off manually,the remote control was useless,but the front desk clerk did bring me a new bed spread and I slept on it but pillow cases were nasty to so I was really ready to leave but I paid for the weekend so I tough it out and the pool was going to be ready Saturday but after seeing that room and hated to return back to the room but I was so tired. I was very disappointed in my stay but the breakfast was very nice and the cook worked very hard, so good job to the cook.

You can tell they have done some renovations to this property. The room was nice, but the outside environment was so sketchy. People were constantly smoking weed outside our room and there was probably a 2 or 3 inch crack in the door, so our entire stay we wreaked of weed. I had to open the door at 5:30 in the morning to ask our “neighbors” to please quiet down because we were trying to sleep. I made the front desk aware of my complaints and they looked at me like I was the crazy one. Also, you get 2 towels and 2 rags your entire stay (we are a family of 4). We were supposed to stay 4 nights, but it was so bad we left a night early.

When we arrived the air was turned on very cold and there was condensation on the ceiling, walls, furniture, and mirrors. The entire room was wet. There were no towels in the room so we couldn’t even wipe the moisture off to set our luggage down. There was no bag in the trash can and there was hair on the bathroom floor. Very displeased with the accommodations.

Awful! Questionable practices, terrible management

We travel often and extensively and I have NEVER before posted a bad review........... but I feel obligated to warn others with my experience at this specific Quality Inn. Prior to making a reservation I reached to confirm they had queen beds, on the first floor, available at time of my call. They did, I immediately made the reservation. Later I called to alert the front desk that I would be arriving after 3:00 am and would still be in need of the 2 queen beds on 1st floor, and additional roll-away bed. I was assured all would be ready and my arrival noted for other staff to be aware. I arrive at 4:02am and a very nice young man informed me he did not have a room for me. He was sweet, but talked in circles, over and over about getting a different room ready, about other guests, having the room used only briefly.... instead of clarifying quickly he chatted, went back and forth to other rooms to ultimately find a second floor room at the very last and furthest point from the hotel entrance. He told me he gave someone the room but they didn't stay, however he had to change the sheets??? (rented by the hour???)? Also, he could not get the roll away bed upstairs.... that my 16 year old son had to carry it because the staff member had a bad back. My son carried the rolls away bed which consisted of a metal frame, headboard and box spring.... not mattress. Staff was ok. However my experience with this place was HORRIBLE! My room was a king bedroom. I had to deal with bugs of every kind along with an infestation of gnats all night long. Not to mention I was unable to rest due to a younger crowd of teenagers (possibly college students) loitering in front of my room door at 3am, yelling and cursing, speaking vulgar obscenities for about an hour straight. As I went to notify the front desk, I then discovered that my telephone in the room didn't even work! I had to cancel my reservation after 1 day, and was then told that I may not even get a partial refund!!!!! I was livid! It was completely unacceptable to be treated that way in a place where you expect to get rest and relaxation. I WILL NEVER EVER BE STAYING AT ANY QUALITY INN AGAIN!

Had a non smoking room yet found dirt and cigarette butt behind bed. Light bulb on lamp not working. Out of shampoo, no Kleenex in the Kleenex box. No garbage pail in bathroom.
Morning breakfast had waffle irons but nothing to make them with, had scrambled eggs and sausage patties but the sausage patties were not edible.
A lot of blacks hanging out in the area of hotel and yet we paid $260.00 for one night.

We arrived at 3 pm to check into our room. The clerk assigned me a room and handed me keys. We got to our room with all of our bags in tow, to open the door and find the room was not cleaned and smelled like cigarettes. We took our bags back to the car, went to the lobby and the lady says,\" Well I don't have the updated housekeeping list.\"
I told her that was fine I had an event to go to and that I would be back around 8pm. She said she would have a room ready for me. We arrived back at the hotel at about 815pm, she slid keys to me when I walked in and we went to our room she assigned. Again we had all of our bags in tow. We opened the door and it \"had been cleaned\" however, there were bugs on the walls, stains on the linens, black gunk in the bathroom shower cracks. At this point me and my 2 kids were exhausted and just decided to get in the car and drive back home after leaving that morning at 6am and driving 4 hours to get to Gainesville. I went to the lobby, asked to speak to a manager and the girl up front told me there wasn't a manager on duty. I explained to her that there were bugs, dirty stained linens and NOT ONCE did she apologize or offer to make anything right, This was the worst Hotel experience I have ever encountered.

The lady at check-in was amazing but the owner should be ashamed to have had 1 person working on a sold-out night. She was trying to do everything with everyone arriving at the same time after the races. She helped with broken TVs, missing remotes, an ignorant client, all with a smile.

Certainly the same cannot be said about the morning person who was ignorant and unfriendly. She did not speak, just pointed her finger to the breakfast room without raising her head from her notepad. There was no breakfast available by 8:20am and she didn't care; not even a juice or cold drink in the cooler.

Rooms are older and TVs not great, but beds were comfortable and clean. Air conditioner old and noisy. This property does not look like the online photographs. Hotels.com should take new photos to give true representation of property. The pool was also not in use; completely empty.

Can't say enough good things about the girl at the desk on check-in, doing what she could to get things right for the hotel guests, but no one should be left to manage a known sold-out property by themselves.

This hotel was convenient to our activities. There’s a Walgreens right next to it, a Waffle House and Dunkin’ Donuts across the street. It’s close to Santa Fe College. It’s showing it’s wear and tear and we thought was too expensive for the condition ($229 nt) but we parked outside our room, it was quiet, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Check in went as usual. Nothing terrible. Our down slide started that night with gunshots being heard in the area. Then Breakfast, or at least the feeble attempt, continued the OMGs. \"No egg products due to rising prices\" was the rationale. No bagels. No muffins. White bread only. Waffle machine. No cereal. No OJ, only kool aid. Had to ask for a refill of the milk container. No PButter. No Cream Cheese. There was sausage...tiny patties. So a sausage white bread sandwich it was. Then I noticed the lobby. I'm truly hoping that there was major renovation occurring and not a demolition stopped of the interior walls. Exposed insulation. Peeling paint. A light that flickered at an annoying high rate of speed. AND the desk staff sat on the phones. Only the one food area attendant was making any effort at all. All in all, this facility needs to lose its place within Choice Hotels. It is an embarrassment to the chain.

Overall, it wasn't bad. Room was clean and location was right by the interstate which was nice. It appeared that they were very limited on supplies like pillows and wash cloths. They would only do housekeeping after 3 days. Only 1 small garbage can in the whole room including the bathroom so that was tough. The one thing I didn't like was no phone in the room to call the front desk with any questions. Very small seating area for breakfast. Same breakfast items both days I stayed there.

The room smelled and was rundown. There was a huge hole cut in the ceiling of the bathroom. There were no plugs in the tub or sink. There was mold all around the tub. The bed felt like the springs were going to pop through. The A/C unit sounded like a freight train every time it kicked on. It was a very unenjoyable stay.
A car also drove through their lobby at some point and the staff said they can’t get anyone to come out to fix it so it’s just boarded up with plywood. I don’t recommend staying here

Stayed at this Quality Inn. The lobby was boarded up due to a auto running through the exterior wall into the lobby. Ok, we undrestand. That is rare and could happen to any hotel. But.....The room light switches did not work. Dirty wash clothes left in the shower from previous occupant. Where smoke detector was supposed to be were two wires sticking out of the wall. Looked like someone was living in the room below us. 24/7 front desk hours were advertised and free breakfast. But, we went to check out, there was a sign on the door the lobby didn't open till 7am. Convenient location and price. But, would never receommend staying here.

Little roaches everywhere. Mold in shower. The smell of urine next to the bed by the nightstand. Something growing in the return vent above the toilet. Broken in-room coffee maker. They have a \"dog park\". But the lady who works the front desk and lives in the hotel has 8 yes 8 dogs in her room. Making the tiny dog park absolutely trashed. There's a 55 gallon trash can full to the top with feces. Which you can smell as soon as you hit the court yard. My dog travels with me and camps all over the country, she didn't even want to walk in that \"Dog park\". You can smell that the desk lady has 8 dogs in her hotel room as soon as you get 10ft away from her she smells like dog abuse. She stated when I checked in she had 8 dogs at home as part of her rescue. Her home is the hotel... That's animal abuse at that amount of animals in that amount of space. You can smell that lady. It's bad!

Overall this was a good place to stay. This was my second visit and the property/rooms are simple but very clean. It is very close and convenient to where I need to go. BUT there was a deal-breaker on this trip - the smoke detector had been removed. I did not notice until late the second night so just let it go as I was leaving in the morning. The other room we got had one (for the adult kid) but ours did not. I won't risk it again.
Beyond that it was great. We could also park our small RV there and it was perfectly safe, no one messed with it.
