the room was super dirty, you need to use hilton honors points or you get charged for wifi, my son got a rash from the pillow case, they don't tell you they don't clean your room, the air conditioner unit was difficult to use and kept defaulting to freezing cold. it is a gross old property and it cost a lot of money.

We stayed at this hotel multiple times in the past and it was always a pleasure. But this time the room we were offered was terrible. Sink was clogged, carpet on the window side of the room was soaking wet and TV had a vertical line in the middle of the screen the whole time. When we complained, reception desk sent a maintenance guy and he unclogged the sink working on it like 20 minutes. And he told me the carpet is wet because of the AC drain leaking. He brought a huge fan (it was noisy) to dry the carpet after working on the AC unit, but the carpet was wet for the rest of our stay. He also had to move the furniture to place the fan. And he said the hotel ordered new TV units but of course it doesn't help at all. We were not offered another room (or a refund). The whole thing was really inconvenient for us. I can easily say; this property has started showing it's age and for our next trip to Gainesville we are planning to stay some other place.

My stay was good overall, but the hotel definitely needs some upgrades. It feels like the property is still stuck in the 1990s. The rugs look like they haven’t been shampooed since the hotel opened its doors. There was also no safety box in the room, which was disappointing. Overall, the hotel needs major updates as soon as possible.

Could not pay cash for room service so had to go downstairs to get the food after I had already settled in for the night after driving 9 hours.
Hotel phone in room didn’t work. Had to call from my phone to ask about any kind of amenity help. Then I was put on hold for 10 mins. Had to call back to get any help.

Needless to say, I was very disappointed with this stay. I really thought I’d be in good hands with the Hilton name. I was wrong.

I arrived at the hotel at 4:30 pm expecting to have a room ready. After waiting in line for 1 hour, the staff informed me they had 18 uncleaned rooms. They told they would call or text me when the hotel room was ready. Hours went by…. And no call or text. I even tried calling the front desk 4x with no answer. I was traveling with a dog, and had to book another hotel 4 miles down the road to accommodate my dog. I traveled 200 miles to see Morgan wallen and I wasn’t even able to catch the entire show on time or check into this hotel…. On the night of my anniversary. I was charged $700 for absolutely nothing. And I had to spent an additional $700 at another hotel… An absolute disgrace of a hotel and horrible communication from the staff. As a Hilton gold member I am livid and will be making a a formal complaint to Hilton directly.

We woke after our first night to sewage backed up in the bathroom sink. We asked the staff to comp our room as NO ONE should pay to wake up to sewage in the sink. Later that day our toilet backed up. We moved rooms and I again asked to be comped for the first night. I asked numerous times to speak to a manager and for the first night charge to be removed, but neither transpired. I repeat - NO ONE should pay to wake up to sewage in their sink!

I called to book two connecting rooms and when I arrived they had not accommodated this aspect of our booking. They told me I probably spoke to central reservations who doesn’t understand that they don’t have available connecting rooms (fair- but not my fault since this was the customer Journey they put me on for a reservation). They did nothing to try to help and we had brought our 85 year old grandmother because we had been assured we would have connecting rooms.

Pros:
The staff are really accommodating, respectful, and responsive—they’re great.

Cons:
The only issue I had was with the room sink. It was making noises at night, and I woke up to what looked like it had overflowed, leaving a lot of dirt/mud in the sink, which was pretty unpleasant. Also, my key card didn’t work a couple of times, so I had to go back to the lobby—even while carrying a heavy bag—which was really inconvenient. This happened twice already during my stay, especially frustrating after working long 13-hour shifts and just wanting to rest.

Picked the location because of the pool for my girls. Disappointed it was dirty and full of leaves. The hotel is outdated in some areas compared to others in the area. The room was average, there was a big stain walking into the room, the windows were very dirty growing algae. The restroom was not as clean as we hoped. Only stayed one night, for the price we would stay some where else next time.

I was very underwhelmed by this property for a Hilton branded hotel. Staff was far from pleasant and not accommodating. Beds were uncomfortable. After being in a meeting all day on Monday. I came back to my room which I’ve been cleaned by my request, and there was water splattered all over the floor in the bathroom for when they cleaned the bathtub and shower and there was still water in the tub from when they cleaned it. On my next trip to Gainesville I will definitely look at other properties.

The hotel in general is dated and old. The carpets are filthy in the rooms and common areas. The bathrooms are so old. The bathtub was dirty and neglected. In general a very poor stay. I will not be staying at this hotel again. We had 3 rooms and all rooms were in need of TLC!
It used to be a great hotel, but unfortunately it needs to be refurbished or at the very least ~ clean the carpets and update the bathrooms and rooms ASAP!

This is my first time checking in at a hotel with no microwave inside the room. We have to go down to the restaurant to heat up our food. It was very awkward and the staff that we asked where the microwave is not friendly. It was Thanksgiving Day when we checked in so we decided we brought our own food because we know not a lot of restaurants are open that day.

The most weird thing is we have a spoiled milk in a steel pitcher container in our room. I don’t know what was it for.

The front desk staff the next day is very kind to take us some photos.

Staff was courteous, room was clean. I was disappointed that they did not refill my in room coffee and they tub has rusted areas. My biggest concern was the lack of lighting outside of the building and at the entrance. I had to check in when it was dark outside and I did not feel safe. Also the windows were filthy and I could barely see out of them.
