From the moment we entered it was a great atmosphere. The ladies at the front desk were phenomenal! Would definitely stay here again!
Alessandra
Clean room, super friendly staff.
Katy
Hotel was fine. We had a really hard time opening and closing our room door.
Rachel
I’ve been staying there every time I need to see the doctor at the University of Florida for the last four years and it’s been a great place. The staff is good. The management is good.
Nicholas
Everything was clean and tidy. No delays checking in or out. Fluid transaction. Also awesome to see alligators in the pond across the street from window of my room.
Daron
we were supposed to have breakfast included. When we went to the lobby, the manager told us that there would be no breakfast bar but we could go order from the menu to purchase. Super disappointing because we paid so much for one night.
Warren
Poor service 😢
Hassan
The hallway smells
We paid for breakfast there was no breakfast
We asked to get some snacks instead they refused

The most convenient hotel - pet friendly and dogs stay on ground floor with an exit to outdoor walking area; easy free parking; convenient location to UF Vet School where I take my dogs; lobby bar. It has an area to purchase snacks and make coffee but does not serve any kind of breakfast. That is my only reason for 4 stars. Rooms are clean with coffee makes so I just bring my own bagels.
Leigh
This was a good option while traveling with my small dog. The small bar was wonderful for a glass of wine and a snack and Ken is the best! So pet friendly. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.
Carol
Fine experience overall. The elevator smelled terrible.
Kirsten
The front desk agent that \"greeted\" us did not even say hello. She asked for name and then never even looked at us. When my husband gave his gold Bonvoy number she looked up and thanked him but it was a very bad start to our stay.
Alena

The staff, bed softness, room setup and location was perfect!

Location was great! Room was great. Lumpy bed:( lots of barking dogs and several loud people in the halls both nights made getting a good rest a challenge but other than that the staff was very pleasant and was very clean!
Isaac
Great hotel stay for the price

This hotel is backed right up to the college. Very quiet and safe location. Breakfast is not included, but available for additional charge. Staff very courteous, helpful and professional. Rooms are updated and very clean. Plenty of parking. Handicap parking is also plentiful. Many restaurants are about a 10 minute walk.
Lindsey Page
Room was clean.
Cathy
The front desk staff was diligent, friendly, and professional. I wish that extended to other areas of the hotel, but it did not.
1. Room was clean except for crumpled tissue on the floor and rings on the end table. Kind of disgusting, but because I was there for one night and arrived exhausted, I didn't call because I had work to do and didn't want them to send up housekeeping or move my room.
2. Bar was not too busy, but when I went down for a glass of wine, the bartender didn't acknowledge me for several minutes. I don't need immediate service, but it felt like he was going out of his way to make eye contact. A simple, \"be right with you\" would have gone a long way. I also watched him dip the shaker in ice, which is also kind of gross.
3. This is nothing the staff can fix, but the walls and ceilings are not anywhere close to soundproof. I heard everything above me and next to me — including someone else's early morning phone alarm.
I've stayed at Aloft before and typically they're more than adequate. Unfortunately, this one was acceptable but not much else. Definitely not worth the $250 for the evening. I realize it was Tom Petty weekend but if you can't manage to clean a room and you know your hotel isn't going to offer people a good night's sleep because the walls are thin, maybe adjust the prices?

The room was not clean when I arrived. The shower had mold and grime. The tile floor hadn't been cleaned for awhile. You could see build up in the corners of thw room.Certain areas also need repair.

Room Service Robbed us 200 dollars cash during stay. Hate to bring something like this up because the staff was otherwise great. Front desk was always great, even Room Service Management handled this well when I brought it up. But I can’t say much else when our stay was marred by being robbed. If you stay here, make sure you put DND on door and don’t trust Room Service.
Gina
I have commented before because the staff is THE BEST!
Evelyn
Everything great except low shower pressure

Great spot for college move in. Love all the games and fun atmosphere in the lobby

I’ve been to another loft hotel and that one had more amenities. This one seems ran down compared to the last loft hotel. Great service though, appreciate the later check out time.

I hate the new policy of charging my card $100 for incidentals. This is a nice hotel and I have been staying in Marriotts for 20+ years. You never used to do that. Some people need that money that night or next day.

The staff is really nice and welcoming. The location is pet friendly and beautiful. Very fair pricing and I look forward to staying there when I am on a business trip. They are also so helpful when I have needed assistance rescheduling due to my own mistake. Great experience and I would also recommend staying with them.

Very nice modern efficient hotel. Friendly staff

Place was perfect
Michele
Dry clean and modern. However, the mattress was horribly worn with a huge intent that I filled with towels to sleep. I spoke with management in the morning and they said it would be changed out.
Vanessa
Modern. Friendly staff

My only complaints were the fire alarm light blinked incessantly and the water pressure in the shower was weak.
Raul
A/C unit each time it started was like having a loud propeller of a plane hitting the sheet metal we couldn’t hardly sleep.
Towels are similar to rough sand paper.
Staff was great and clean room.

I recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a satisfactory experience. The room was generally clean, providing a comfortable space for relaxation. However, I did encounter a noticeable issue with the mattress, which had a significant stain. This was a bit concerning but other than that, the cleanliness of the room was commendable. Hopefully, this issue will be addressed promptly to enhance the guest experience. I would consider staying here again if this concern is rectified.

Not worth the money
The staff was very nice and friendly however, we paid $500 to stay here for one night. We had a charity event up the street. I feel like this hotel took advantage of the event being in the area, which is kind of sad since it was a cancer charity event. Next weekend, the same room is only 265 . After paying $500 when we opened up our windows of our room, they overlooked the roof with two air-conditioning vents right outside them not worth the money. They did end up moving us, but would not be returning here.

Great lobby bar

The rooms are very nice and comfy. The only thing I have to complain about is that the room I was in did not have a microwave, and in the morning we had a coffee pot but no coffee to brew; I only had tea bags. Other than that, the room was pretty nice.

Walking around
The only thing that bother us was people walking around on the ceiling it was very loud and we had to be up early in the morning

I’ll check in the refrigerator was not working. We reported it to the front desk who said she was going to have the unit changed out while we were at dinner. It didn’t happen. The TV sets picture is fine, but the TV Guide does not show what is showing on each channel. The toilet paper supply consisted of a half a roll in the entire unit. We are Marriott rewards members for years and these experiences should not have happened. Additionally, this level of hotel should offer a complimentary breakfast.
Maria
Convenient hotel to stay at before a gate game allows hotel guests to enjoy a pregame with their friends and family.
As far as the breakfast options, it could be better. Was very inconsistent, but staff was able to accommodate eventually.
