Plumbing in ceiling leaked down into bathroom until portions of ceiling started falling waking me up at 11:30pm. No front desk personal or emergency contact, my room was starting to flood so I had no choice but to end my vacation early and return 4 hours home. Called hotel first thing in the morning to report the indent and was asked \"so do you want to check out or what\". Really! not, gee that's terrible or maybe we're sorry. No refund, no compensation. Never again Wyndham!

If you like moldy bathroom ceilings, rusted door hinges, half working toilet and a non-closing bathroom door. Or maybe you're not big on amenities, like not having a hair dryer or conditioner. Or you're a fan of special designer towels. You know the kind with lipstick and makeup stains from prior guests. Then this is the place you will enjoy staying. I could go on and on but i think you get the picture. Just know the site pictures are from 2014 when the place was first built. Buyer beware.

I stayed at the Days Inn and was extremely disappointed with the condition of the room. The smoke detector was absent, which presents a serious safety concern. Additionally, the bathroom was in poor condition, with extensive peeling paint and visible black mold throughout the area. These issues go beyond normal wear and tear and raise concerns regarding both guest safety and health. I would not recommend this property unless these maintenance and safety deficiencies are properly addressed.

Aside from the room being very old and musty our neighbor returned to her room well after midnight and her partner had locked her out. For well over an hour she continued to slam on that door trying to wake him. She didn’t care that she woke everyone else. There were so many people just meandering around the breezeway and lingering, it was ver unsettling and I definitely did not feel safe. Breakfast was a joke. No fruit. No meat, no hot eggs. Wow, worst stay of my life!

The staff was polite, though it’s hard to understand how this place is still in business. The moment we walked into the room, the smell was unbearable—strong, dirty body odor that made it impossible to stay, let alone sleep. The room was extremely filthy and difficult to even describe. The bedding appeared to have blood stains, and the bathtub was so dirty and in such poor condition that I wouldn’t recommend anyone shower there.

The furniture looked worse than what you’d find at a thrift store. The walls were stained, and there were roaches in the room. We immediately returned to the front desk to request a refund. The front desk attendant didn’t even ask for a reason, likely because she was already on the phone with another location requesting a refund for another guest.

We were charged $161 through this app, yet when we checked the hotel’s website, the same room was listed for $83 per night. After midnight, we had to find another hotel—thankfully, we did, otherwise we would have had to sleep in our car. This was a truly horrible experience!

Good stuff first: The customer service was excellent. The man that helped us check in and assisted us with an issue in our room was great. We didn't see any bugs, so that's a plus. There was a nice big refrigerator, which was also nice. However, the room itself was terrible. Definitely not the quality of the one in the photo. It was worn out and not updated and it smelled. I am disappointed that Wyndham put its name on this hotel. I would not stay here again and it only got 2 stars because the customer service was so good.

The stay was not good at all but because I could not get my money back I made the best of it first off the room I was put in had a bad odor and roaches and then the clerk asked me what I wanted to do because the roaches more than likely came from by the elevator which I did not understand but whatever works for him and then the 2nd room was a tad bit better just one stain on floor and no odor but the tub was terrible and the walls had spider webs on them my son was coming out the door to the one housekeeper telling him he wasn’t supposed to be there like he was lying about staying in a hotel like this I am like

I was settling in when my child looked at the bed and saw the mattress, which was horribly dirty in one corner of the bed, so I decided to cancel and go to another hotel.

I usually don’t complain but this one wasn’t ideal. First the there was a damp wet smell to the room. The towels were dirty,They were hung up in the bathroom like normal but were completely dirty. The bathtub had lots of rust and the handle on the hot water knob was broken. Last thing was the old food left in the refrigerator . The bed and pillows were good . I was thankful for that.

This was by far the worst experience, my family, and I have ever had a Hotel.
Not the only was everything broken on that room from bathroom doors, to toilet I had to fit justto be able to go to the bathroom because front desk never answered the phone, but forget about answering they need to be checked for sanitary guidelines and protocols for how dirty and gross all of that establishment is, it is one of the dirtiest and most dangerous hotels my family and I have ever stayed at, we got woken up by a homeless person in the middle of the night knocking on our door around 6am while he had been going all night knocking at other peoples doors and kept me awake all night scared I was terrified, til he knocked on ours and we had to call 911, a cop came to check and make sure everyone was alright and make sure the intruder had left. Everything about this hotel is wrong, their rooms do not look anything like what they show on their website or pics on the internet, I feel like I got cat fished the way they sell these rooms blindsiding people, showing you something completely different, because I’ve been to a lot of hotels in my life, and especially Gainesville because my son goes to school there, and I’ve never ever come even close to stay at a hotel like the one we stayed at The Days Inn at Wyndham, nothing was to the standards, not even too like remotely meeting the stands of a clean place it was disgusting. The smell is unbearable, I want my money back, my kid was terrified.

I knew I wasn’t booking a luxury stay, but I never imagined the place would be so dirty and poorly maintained. The hallways were filthy, the AC units were leaking water, and the doors and windows hadn’t been cleaned in ages. The bathroom was disgusting and outdated — I didn’t even feel comfortable walking barefoot.

The room lacked proper cleaning, the furniture was old, dull, and chipped, and the fire alarm was completely disconnected. This hotel is in terrible condition and clearly hasn’t been inspected for a long time. It’s unsafe and unsanitary — Expedia should really review this property.

No frills hotel could have been kept up better. No exhaust fan in the bathroom, broken coffee machine, air conditioner that smelled moldy are a few of the issues we had. Also, there should be grip handles to help getting in and out of shower. We had no cleaning service during our stay so had to empty our own trash and reuse the few towels we had. No Kleenex in the room may be a small thing but expected. There was no decaffeinated coffee in the lobby but a very nice gentleman that worked there helped my physically challenged dad get a cup by using a pod used for the coffee machines in the rooms after we informed him our coffee machine was broken. We appreciated his help. I don’t believe the hotel was the worse but for what we paid, I expected it to be in better condition.

Check in staff was wonderful, she was frequently quick and we had a great exchange- the room ..... OMG the first thing I see in the room is a cockroach (it's Florida so I'm ok) but then The bathroom tub.... disgusting I could not even think about showering in it- pictures below. The overall state of the building was derelict. Compared this to my stay in Denver the night before and this place was a dump. I paid less in Denver for a night and felt I was in a palace and in Gainesville it was a dungeon. Very disappointed.

The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming! The price definitely drew me in as we travel to Gainesville quite a bit. Unfortunately, you live, you learn...we were in room 320. There was a horrible smell, not sure what it was. The bathroom light blinked and blinked. Property is in dire need of an update. Absolutely the worst room I have stayed in in the last 30 years. Cover on one bed had a coffee spill. Soap was caked in the shower soap holder. Bathroom floor appeared in need of a good cleaning and some paint removal. Lamps were missing some bulbs and rusted with paint peeled off. Concrete and stairs really need to be pressure washed.

The desk staff were professional but unable to help. When we returned from working the first day, we noticed that the room has not ben touched (beds not changed, dirty towels still in tub). I was told that was done every other day. I emptied the garbage cans and brought down the towels and got clean ones from the front desk

The next day when we returned, the room was again untouched. I was then told that it is done.every 3rd day. I was flabbergasted at the misinformation. There was nothing written or explained about the paucity of room service.

I use to use Days Inn when I travel but in the future I will take my business elsewhere.

This property should be condemned. This advertisement was a total bait and switch. The room 224 that we were given was totally disgusting with a god awful smell, wet flooring, filthy dirty disgusting mattress, bathroom toilet was so low to the ground, burnt cigarette marks all over the tub, no water pressure in the shower. We could not even stay there and enjoy our planned weekend trip. We had to find other accommodation. The right thing to do is refund us our hard earned money or l will take my next steps. Please do what is right.

Este hotel muestra unas fotos y todo se veía muy bonito desde la habitación, la piscina, el edificio, pero cuando llegamos la muchacha en la recepción nos trató super bien muy amable e hizo el check in rápido. DO NOT STAY HERE – Disgusting and unhygienic
This was hands-down the worst hotel experience my family and I have ever endured. I wouldn’t wish a stay here on anyone. The conditions were absolutely appalling from the moment we walked in and frankly, this place should take more time in the cleanliness of the place.
Let me break it down:
•Bedbugs. Yes, bedbugs. We noticed bites on back, neck, arms. This alone warrants immediate closure and fumigation.
•Flying insects. The room was infested with flying gnats or fruit flies even if you killed some more would appear – it was disgusting and impossible to relax or want to sleep.
•Overwhelming stench. The room reeked of a moldy, musty smell that hit you like a wall the moment we opened the door. Such an unpleasant experience.
•Filthy carpets and walls. The carpet was stained, damp, and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. The walls were visibly dirty with smudges, grime, and unknown splatters.
•Bathroom. Not the worst part of the room however, The towels provided had visible stains. Absolutely unusable. Staff did not think to leave a spare roll of tissue being the one currently in the room was empty. When arriving we were put into a room that had what looked like vomit in sink
•General neglect. Everything about the room screamed neglect and poor management.
I would never expect luxury at a budget hotel, but basic hygiene and cleanliness are non-negotiable. This hotel should issue us a full refund immediately.

Nothing. I tried to recieved a refund but they never wants to do it. Manager went to the room 4 times interrumping my stay. The reason he gave was that they were looking for something in the room. They interrupted me even when I was handing them what they asked for. Very unsafe place and a bad place to stay.

Horrible experience!!!

Tried to check in and couldn't. I was at the hospital with my granddaughter most part of the day. Been traveling since 4 in the morning. I just wanted to lay down. They said they didnt accept my kind of card. I already paid online and my money was taken. Another guest came in and had the same issue. This hotel needs to be taken off your website. Not too mention the appearence in person, not so great!!!! Very bad experiance. Had to stay on tge phone with Hotels.com for a hour and a half to get another hotel.
