There is a shopping centre and a great restaurant within walking distance. Staff was friendly and spoke English well enough to help us. Breakfast was a little less than expected but was enough for our needs. Would stay there again.

When we arrived, we discovered that the hotel was undergoing major renovations and construction, which created constant loud noise and significant disruption throughout the day.

This construction was not mentioned anywhere on the Expedia listing or during the booking process. The hotel only informed us about it upon arrival and did not offer any alternative accommodation or compensation.

The level of noise and disturbance made it very difficult to relax or enjoy our stay, and the conditions were not what was advertised or expected based on the information provided on Expedia

The room is specious and clean and there is nothing wrong with the hotel. The staff is very nice and the price is amazing. I did not realize the hotel was too far from the subway. About 20 minutes walk, equal distance if you want something decent to eat, so it’s not very convenient, especially if you do not have a car. It was my fault. I should have investigated the location of the hotel more closely and I did not, but there is nothing wrong with the hotel itself.

The room was much like a college dorm room with a shower/bathroom from an RV. Left plenty to be desired for space and comfort. Great A/C though! There was no breakfast (on time anyway) the last day because the guy working was asleep in his chair at the desk.

First Class may be its name but it is little more than a bedroom in a container! Bed was comfortable and room clean, although board in the bathroom was held on by duck tape. IGNORE WHAT THE DESCRIPTION SAYS ABOUT SWIMMING POOL - THERE NEVER HAS BEEN ONE ASSOCIATED WITH THE HOTEL. The area is very impoverished but approximately a mile down the hill is a good shopping area. If travelling by public transport, from métro Mairie de Montreuil station, cross road outside café and take 2 stops up hill on service 115 (Charles de Gaule) otherwise it’s a long walk. Finally breakfast: great if you can eat normally but very, very little for gluten-free or dairy free diets. Shower was amazingly powerful and staff super friendly!

There is an Aldi supermarket approx 0.25 miles away but 1 mile (downhill) in the Centre Commercial is a very well stocked Carrefour with much greater stock. There are also two good cafés at the foot of the hill, and a McDonalds in the Town Centre (hidden at the back)!

Stay was comfortable, about as good as you expect for the price and they cleaned the room every day. Only issue is it states on here there is access to an indoor pool and this was not the case, in fact no one in the hotel even knew what we were talking about when we asked about it. This was misleading and we were really hoping for a pool as the weather was so hot.

There are far better hotels to stay in even in this price range - the rooms were like jail cells, very small. Tiny windows, tiny TV’s (remote control didn’t even work in one room). Just one roll of poor quality tissue paper in the bathroom (also v.tiny which reminded us of airplane toilets). The sink was broken with cracks all over. Bedding was rubbish and did not smell v.clean at all. Clothes hangers were broken and unusable. Doors sometimes opened with key card other times didn’t even open! Staff unfriendly & didn’t really know what was going on! Overall rubbish experience. Will not be using again!

The property is infested by bed bugs, my daughter was waked up at 03:00 am by the bites of a bed bugs. When we turned the lights her bed was was full of bed bugs, in hundreds!all sizes....it was a traumatic. There is no words to describe the night mare!!!!

Our Experience!!

Checked in late at the hotel and had difficulty communicating with staff. I spoke English and the spoke French. So it was tough. Rooms were and Shower were extremely small. Also, staff were smoking just outside the main door. Unclear about smoking policy. Not a log of amenities in the hotel. Bring your meals. No meal option in the hotel.

We arrive and had a bit of a problem regarding city tax and hotel declared 0.42 per person per night but we found ourselves paying 6€ more. We rang hotels.com and managed to get it sorted but kinda a bummer when we are traveling Europe and all money we spend it vital. Bedrooms are small and very old fashioned but clean. Need a member of staff for any reason you will not find them at reception as always outside smoking. Overall did the trick with getting our heads down but wouldn't recommend or return.

Close to metro

The hotel is 15 minutes walking distance from the metro which is convenient. The rooms are small which is to be expected in Europe and the rooms each have their own bathroom/shower. We left each morning by 8am and didn't come back till 11pm so other than sleeping and eating breakfast, we didn't spend much time there and neither would I want to. While one is not supposed to smoke in the hotel, it smells of cigarette smoke. I would recommend a lock on your suitcase. A pair of jeans went missing but once I asked the front desk about it, they magically appeared that evening when we returned. The breakfast is a good deal but North Americans be warned - this is not the breakfast you are used to. There is coffee available, croissants, bread, dry cereal, yogurt and juice. I took 9 high school students and this set up worked great for us. I would not, however, book there for a romantic getaway with my husband in the future. If you are looking for a cheap and convenient (in terms of the subway accessibility) place to stay, then this is a good find. If you want romance and to be in the heart of Paris - book elsewhere and be prepared to spend more.

The hotel room was extremely small. I could barely stretch my hands out without hitting something. The toilets are small plastic cubicles which I got locked in as the lock stopped working. My room smelt like cigarette smoke and I requested to be moved to a different room and that room also smelt like cigarette smoke.

Our room was on the second floor and there was no lift. It was ensuite but the bathroom was very small and the smell was not great. Apart from that the room was very clean. The beds were comfortable but the ceiling was too low for a double bunk. The neighbourhood is not great, being on the outskirts of Paris, and it is a bit of a walk to the metro station.

The location of the hotel was great and quite easy to locate as it was just minutes from the coach station. Staff there were friendly and kind explaining how my family could get into and about the city. After hours and hours of seeing the city, we settled for a nice night rest in our room which was quite cozy and clean. My son loved his bunk bed. The whole experience was great.

Enjoyed our stay at the Hotel! T was in a good location near to the metro where we could access a range of locations around the city! The hotel is basic but as we got back every night late and just went to bed it had everything we needed! Very clean - maids in every morning, suprisingly comfy bed and it was great to arrive back to a lovely warmed room after a bitterly cold day! Would def stay again! Thank you

Far from Metro and in a questionable neighborhood

Definitely a bare minimum hotel. Make sure you have the address and get a cab with GPS if you're coming after dark. The room it's self was clean enough. The hotel could store my luggage for the day so I had to drag it around Paris. At least a mile to either Metro station. A cab driver told me I would be fine walking here (and I was) but the \"police won't come here, the people are very mean and throw things at them.\" Doesn't give me a warm fuzzy. Breakfast wad as good as any other similar quality hotel. The place is relatively new and is kind of like a mobile home. The entire bathroom (walls, floor, sink, shower and toilet) is one molded piece of plastic, but at least the sink has built in ash trays if you feel the urge.

Sleepless in Paris

Though it looks modern, the construction quality of the hotel is very poor. I heard people talking for hours (I presume from within their rooms), due to thin walls/floors, and every time a door shut or closed, it could be heard. I even asked management to move me to a different floor when I found out there was a large group of young adults staying on the same floor, and several gathered right outside my door, but he said he couldn't. If sleep weren't an issue, then overall, the hotel would have been fine for our purposes. We were travelling as a group of 5 persons and had business to tend to in Paris. The hotel was very reasonably priced, had 3 beds per room that were comfortable enough, and it was about 30 minutes walk to the Metro (and another 30 minutes or so into central Paris, Place de la Concorde). However, personally, I would never want to return, due to the lack of sleep. Also, the bathroom was microscopic! How they could fit a toilet, shower, and sink into such a tight space is beyond me. In brief, I would only recommend this hotel to someone who is narcoleptic and of a very slender frame.

We've been there at the beggining of march 2013. Rooms nice and tidy but small. Staff very friendly and helpfull. Location at end of line 9 but very easy to get anywhere and only around 10-15min walk from hotel. But on your way you can already see cafe's and baguette shop, even next to the station you have little shopping centre with Carrefour . I will advice for business, students or short break cuz saved money on accommodation you can spend later to enjoy yourself:) Bonuses: free parking even after checkout, wifi flexible staff:)and tv in room.

rubbish! avoid!

awful! random dodgy location in filthy area, tiny room with nothing but a bed and a window overlooking a council estate. They say hotel check out is at midday but the cleaners started banging on our door from 8.30am asking us to depart and even when complain to reception they continue. Only one person spoke a minute bit of english, terrible i would avoid at all costs.Plus its over an hour journey and 3 subways away from central Paris.

'ai séjourné dans cet hôtel et mon expérience a été décevante. Je suis arrivé vers 14h, j'ai pris ma chambre, puis je suis sorti visiter Paris. À mon retour le soir, j'ai constaté que le bouton pressoir des toilettes était détaché, un cache avait été enlevé et l'eau des toilettes était coupée dans la salle de bain. Aucun message d'avertissement, aucune alerte de la part de l'hôtel. Lorsque j'ai découvert cela, j'ai été surpris. De plus, l'hôtel était complet, il n'y avait donc pas de chambre de remplacement disponible.

Le soir, il n'y avait pas de serviettes, elles avaient tout simplement disparu. Le lendemain matin, ma chambre n'a pas été faite. J'ai dû retourner à la réception à chaque fois pour signaler les problèmes. J'ai effectué de nombreux voyages, mais en termes d'entretien et de confort, cet hôtel est vraiment décevant.

Parking was luckily behind a fence and gate, but there were holes in the fence.

Extremely small room. Good AC. WiFi was useless during our stay.

Bathroom small, and the shower did not drain properly. The whole bathroom was flooded after a short time.

Small beds, and there were an annoying orange light in your face constantly throughout the night.

Moldy around windows. Door of the room had been broken into before as evident in picture. Light switch showed sign of imminent fire hazard.

The staff was okay, but literally could not care about any complaints.

Chambre correcte, personnel agréable, j'ai signalé un problème qui n'a pas été résolu durant mon séjour (2 nuits) il s'agissait des interrupteurs des liseuses qui clignote tout le temps (couleur orangée, effet stroboscopique garantit 😉, prévoyez un masque pour les yeux au cas où chambre 225), douche microscopique, insonorisation inexistante .
Mais environnement de l'hôtel calme.

Hôtel économique facile d’accès en voiture station de métro 15/20mn à pied, à l’aller ça monte, mais ça descend au retour;-)
Station vélib à 3 mn.
Un vrai atout avec le parking à 7€ qui permet de visiter Paris à moindre coût.
Les toilettes ne sont pas très écolo et le réglâtes de la température de la douche est un casse tête

Court séjour effectué dans un cadre professionnel. Accueil irréprochable. Rien à redire sur la propreté. L'établissement aurait besoin d'être rénové, notamment au niveau des cabinets de toilette. L'environnement laisse à désirer.

Bien dans l'ensemble

Accueil a toute heure de jour comme nuit un vrai plus le seul bémol c'est qu'on a été obligé de demandé des viennoiseries ou du pain pour le petit déjeuner car a 9h30 il n'y avait plus rien dommage pour un petit déjeuné à volonté
