wonderful time spent here, this hotel has all accommodations you need. Location is exceptional, close to the Vincennes Castel and close to RER A /Metro 1 to visit Paris. We went to ZOO at Vincennes and enjoyed a lot our stay here. People from Hotel are extremely helpful and recommend to us a great Italian restaurant for lunch. Breakfast is homemade. I will definitively book another stay here during an upcoming opportunity. Thank you !

This is a lovely hotel. The staff were amazing. Extremely friendly and attentive. Parking is extra bit is ina secure lot accross the street which you pay extra for.
The hotel is in a lovely area of paris close to lots of nive places to eat and drink. Can get a train on rer or metro into paris easily witha short walk from the hotel to rer A or metro depending on where you want to go. I would definitely recommend this place and stay here again.

Too hot in Paris in July -- even at night

The air conditioning wouldn't go below 22 degrees (72 F), which is uncomfortably warm. I'm sure it's \"eco-friendly\" but it certainly isn't \"guest friendly\" the way it soaked my sheets with sweat!

I really liked this hotel but we came with a dogs and lots of heavy luggage. It was tough with the stairs and the elevator hitting every other floor and. Smaller rooms which we expected.The staff was kind, attentive and professional and it was also easy to get into the center of Paris by metro. Lovely hotel and stay

2 metro stations only a few minutes walk away which is great. Supermarket shop near by as well as a castle and restaurants. Great place to stay as between central Paris and Disneyland. It meant we could explore both. Lovely staff and rooms and nice continental breakfast. No bar though but you can buy some drinks from reception and room service. Nice modern decor in rooms. Would recommend.

A Hotel with a carpark in Paris with a 5 minute walk to the Metro. Very convenient if you are travelling with a car. Has charging for electric vehicles also. Room was good and in pretty condition. This was a good place to stay.

Room 110 is accessed by a narrow staircase from the dining room.
There was noise from the kitchen during the night, making it difficult to sleep.
And there was no electricity in the room the next morning. Disappointing.

Our stay was great. The rooms were spotless with great decor, lighting and water pressure. The beds were comfortable and it was relatively quiet, especially when the shutters were closed. However the exception was that the elevator was not working and we were on the fourth floor. The staff were great with getting our luggage up to our room when we arrived however walking up those stairs, after a long day of walking around the city, was torture. Besides that, it was very convenient to the metro and several really great neighborhood restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

This hotel is in a fabulous location and perfect for a city break. We had a family room which was specious and just what we needed. Staff were friendly, breakfast was great and secure parking also.

This area is also what we believe to be buzzing and central to everything you need. 15 mins metro to the very heart of the city and 30 mins from Disneyland if you wanted to venture to there.

All round great value for money and we would definitely recommend people to stay here.

The Best Hotel in Paris

We searched hard for a good hotel in our price range. This hotel checked all our requirments. They let us early check in no questions asked, the check in itself was a breeze. We got room 208, this room was perfect for a family of 4, as it had 2 rooms. Breakfast was included, and it was good. The location was perfect, right on the Metro line, grocery stores very close, lots of places to dine, very safe at nights to walk around with 2 little kids.

The warmth and welcome here was top-notch. From the pre-arrival survey asking us what we might need to the garage system with a passcard... all of it was easy, friendly and very well organized.
Rooms are new, well-lit, and worked great for our needs (got a suite and 2 parents were in one room with bed and 2 teens in pull-out bed in other).
This is a perfect location. Incredibly practical, literally 25 minutes from the doors of the Louvre. Also surrounded by city markets and shops if you want to get food to go or pick up items.

This is a great hotel right on the 1 Metro line which is automated and runs even during the current metro strikes. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The night manager even walked to the restaurant next door to make sure that we could eat on a night we had been out late.

This property is int he perfect location for people who are walking. We were able to walk to wonderful restaurants and to the Chateau. It is in a great location for the Metro and RER access. It has great bus access, too. The room was clean and the bathroom was large. The staff was helpful with a first aid kit when my daughter fell and needed help with her wound. Breakfast was sufficient.

It was very clean and the breakfast was great! Staff spoke English and they were helpful. Parking was a bit difficult when checking in, there was NO parking on the busy road . My husband dropped me off and circled the area until we received the parking codes for the garage across the street. Hotel itself is in a great location in Vincennes and close to the Metro. Rooms are generally clean and staff are friendly. The only downer was the breakfast which was somewhat chaotic, with tables not cleared away and buffet items running out quickly. Otherwise a pleasant stay.

It was a really great stay at Hôtel Daumesnil. We arrived early, so the room wasn't ready but I was offered a very comfortable seat in the lobby and free refreshments while they made up the room quickly. The room was small but well furnished with a lovely bed, clean facilities and very well sound-proofed windows. I'd definitely stay here again.

This is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful town. Spacious room overlooking the little square was comfortable and clean. Adjustable room temperature. The restaurant was not expensive and overlooked the square. We were lucky to have parked our car for free in the car park behind the hotel but it is very small and it is advisable to reserve a place in the hotel garage. I highly recommend this hotel.

this was a great location for getting into Paris via Metro and also for disney via train. If you prefer traveling into Paris via bus there is a stop just outside the hotel. The hotel has garage parking so we were able to park up the car and use public transport. We didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on this.

Booked hotel primarily for location being close to start/finish of Paris semi-marathon. So glad we did, Vincennes is a lovely area with easy metro access to central Paris and the major tourist attractions. Well presented hotel, clean and comfortable. 'Small but perfectly formed'. Continental breakfast inc fresh croissants, baguettes, hams, cheese, jams, yoghurt, fresh fruit.
Nice restaurants, bars, bakeries, supermarket and several independent shops in this quieter small town (some shops closed on Monday). Should we return to Paris we would definitely return to this area and this hotel if available.

Charming Quiet Hotel in Great Neighborhood

Went for two nights in August to visit nearby friends. Tiny rooms but we had a queen sized bed in ours. Staff made everything easy, no hassles of any kind. Room included a safe, a fridge with water, Coke and beer and a flat screen TV plus really quiet AC system, unlike noisy ones in most US hotels. Breakfast area was charming but we choose to breakfast at nearby cafes for diversity. Neighborhood is great to walk around. Lots of cafes, restaurants and nice shops, plus a big street market three days a week and the amazing Chateau Vincennes (Louie's home before he built Versailles) and the massive Vincennes Forest, great for biking, running and walking.

Great place to stay in a great neighborhood

We have just returned from a five night stay at this hotel in Chateaux de Vincennes. We love this neighborhood and have stayed here in Vincennes in the past. This hotel is extremely clean and comfortable. The only thing we did not like was that our room was way too small but all rooms are not this small. We loved the convenient location to numerous restaurants, bus stops, and Metro stops. From Vincennes, it is easy to get to anywhere in Paris. This hotel is in a safe and very posh neighborhood with mostly families and older people. We loved the fact that our room was so very quiet and with the shutters closed, we could sleep and relax. The bed was comfortable but the pillows are way too soft for us. The young lady at the front desk speaks excellent English and was so extremely friendly and accommodating. We don't know how we could have done without her advice. Not to slight the other staff, they are all just as friendly and helpful. If you are going to the airport from here and want to avoid steps in the Metro or RER, take bus #318 from Vincennes to the stop at Gallieni, exit and then take bus #351 directly to Terminal 2 at CDG airport. Just be sure to get bus #351 going in the direction of Roissypole. If or when we ever return to Paris, we will definitely stay this hotel in Chateaux de Vincennes.

One overnight stay in Vincennes, within walking distance of the venue of a wedding celebration with friends - and, a lovely surprise - just opposite the Chateau, which is very impressive. The hotel was blissfully well airconditioned and we had a very friendly welcome. The room was extremely well appointed. This hotel is great value, very comfortable and pleasantly situated. By bus or train, only 30 mins from central Paris, too.

We drove to Paris for a weekend break and booked the hotel that was literally 1 min from the Metro 1 line with quick access to the heart of Paris ! the area is lovely with restaurants and shops close by ! The hotel is also verry nice with a lovely reception and friendly staff ! Parking is also available ( with charge) ! We didn't had any problems and we defiently recommend the hotel !

It was our first stay in a Qualys hotel. We were very pleased overall. Only downside was that room size was a bit small, but possibly par for the course for a Paris hotel. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Garaging opposite a bonus, although advisable to book as spaces limited. Would certainly stay again and consider other hotels in the chain. Very good value for money.

The staff is nice, helpful and also speaks English...rooms are small, but nice. The bed was firm, but morning came and we had good rest and no discomfort.The hotel is on a busy street, but it has great soundproofing. This can be a problem because they do not like to turn on your air conditioning. There is a thermostat in your room, but they control the on switch so you need to call the front desk. The room gets hot even if it is cool outside and they do not like to turn on the ac so you open the window and now you get all the street noise. The ac doesn't work that well anyway. They also charged us for breakfast. We did not eat at the hotel so they removed the charge. It is 14 euros per person. There is a nice grocery store just down the street and other restaurants so skip the breakfast. The metro and train RER station are close and convenient. I would stay again, but not in the summer. I need cold ac and many of hotels in Paris do not like to spend money on the electricity to keep you cool. Nice hotel overall.

We stayed in the room for 4 people and there were 3 of us. It had one double bed and 2 cots. The cots were extremely uncomfortable and small. The service of the hotel was excellent, the staff were helpful and friendly and their advice for a day tour company was excellent. The room was clean and vacuumed each day. There was a continental breakfast and no sign inside so we thought it was complimentary but it actually costs 14 euro per person per day..so for 3 of us, it was 42 euro and definitely not worth the money. We only ate there 2 days once we learned of the cost. The coffee and pastries at the local cafes was far better and less expensive. It was very close to the metro and a supermarket.

We chose this hotel because it was close to our friends place in Vincennes. The location was close to the metro train which made it easy to get around Paris. Our room was quite small. We barely had room to walk around the bed. Bathroom and shower were also quite small. On the plus side, the service was excellent. We couldn't get the air conditioning to get cool enough and it was a little warm at night. Other than this, it is a nice boutique hotel and everything worked as it should and the staff was great.

Stayed for a night on a weekend trip to Paris. Liked the hotel deco, and the staff were really friendly. Only drawbacks were that the hotel is a little far off the centre of Paris (it is only 100m away from the metro though) and the neighborhood is rather quiet.

Quaint, cozy hotel

I originally had a reservation for another hotel, but that reservation fell through. So I found this hotel on Hotels.com for a good rate. After staying in some hostels, it was nice to get a clean room at a nice, quaint hotel. I would say this hotel is more for older people who want a quiet, cozy atmosphere. I like that it was in more of a neighborhood area instead of the busy main Paris area. Had some good restaurants and even a laundrymat near by. Metro is close by too.

Perfektes Hotel für einen Trip nach Paris. Metro, Supermarkt und Restaurants innerhalb weniger Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Zimmer war renoviert, sauber und hatte alles was man braucht. Die Tiefgarage gegenüber dem Hotel ist sehr praktisch.
