Our honeymoon at Canaves Epitome was truly beyond anything we could have imagined. From the moment we arrived, every single detail felt magical and unforgettable. The views are absolutely breathtaking — waking up to the stunning Santorini coastline and sunsets felt like living inside a dream.

What made this place even more special was the incredible staff and service. Every person we met went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed, cared for, and celebrated. The hospitality was warm, genuine, and luxurious in every possible way. We honestly cannot put into words how wonderful everyone was.

The property itself is unbelievably beautiful — elegant, peaceful, romantic, and perfectly designed for a honeymoon escape. Every corner feels serene and luxurious, yet still intimate and relaxing. Whether we were enjoying the stunning pools, the delicious food, or simply taking in the views together, every moment felt perfect.

Canaves Epitome gave us memories we will cherish forever. If you are looking for the ultimate romantic getaway or honeymoon destination in Santorini, this is truly paradise. We already cannot wait to come back someday. 💙✨

Unfortunately we were not able to go because our airline cancelled our flight 8 months prior to our trip. The property refused to provide us a refund saying that they don't bend on certian reservation bookings(even with 8 months advance notice). Thanks for letting me know where not to stay in Santorini.

True 5 Star Property

A true 5-star experience from start to finish! The property is absolutely stunning, beautifully designed with incredible rooms, multiple pools, and breathtaking landscaping. The service is impeccable; every staff member goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and taken care of. The location is perfect just a 6-minute walk to Oia town, so you’re close to all the shops and restaurants but still get the peace and tranquility of the property. Highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for luxury, comfort, and world-class hospitality.

From the moment we arrived, we were treated like valued guests rather than just another booking. The property itself is beautiful, spotless, and well-maintained, but what truly sets this hotel apart is the staff. Every single team member we encountered was warm, attentive, and eager to help with anything we needed, often going above and beyond before we even had to ask.

Whether it was the front desk arranging last-minute reservations, housekeeping anticipating our preferences, or the restaurant staff remembering our favorite drinks, the service felt personalized and genuine. It’s rare to find such a consistent level of care and professionalism across the board.

Our stay was flawless, and we left feeling not just refreshed, but truly appreciated. We can’t wait to return and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking both comfort and exceptional hospitality.

We enjoyed our stay at Canaves Oia Epitome. The location is excellent - close to Oia, but down the hill, so it feels private. The staff was aware that it was our 25th anniversary, so they placed rose petals, chocolates, and wine in our room upon arrival. While this detail was wonderful, the resort did feel a little too big and it was a bit impersonal. We had made a dinner reservation with guest services in advance to celebrate, and they had no idea. The breakfast was nice. The private pools are great. We didn't have the best view (blocked by a long stone wall), but we could certainly relax and enjoy the sunset. They even turned up the pool temperature for us. We did have an issue a time or two (in the beginning) with the shuttle. We were told a shuttle would be there to pick us up in 5 minutes and 20 minutes later, we opted to walk back to the resort. Overall, that was a nice amenity, though.

If I could give more than 5-stars, I would. The service here is top-notch and really elevated the overall experience. The 24-hour complimentary shuttle service, being able to chat with staff via text at any time, the recommendations they offered for restaurants and nearby activities, the food, the ability to request our private pool be warmed, the gym, etc.

Also, our room itself was beautiful. We stayed in the Hideaway Pool Suite and it felt like it was just my husband and I tucked away on our own little cliff-side room in Santorini with the most romantic sunset views. It was perfect.

This is the best property in Oia for sunset views. All of the sunset cruises come to this spot each evening. You are about 5 minutes from town so you also do not have to deal with the crowds so it feels more private. They have a free shuttle to town and we used it multiple times per day and we loved the driver, George. Breakfast is included and was great everyday. Isolated. All activities require a car. The desk offers a private driver at 80 euros per hour with a minimum of a 3 hour rental. The indoor suite pools are not private at all. Neighbors are able to look over from all angles. The day prior to leaving we received 3 phone calls from 3 desk agents wanting to arrange a car to the airport for 90 euros. I booked a private van for 30. The coffee making in the room did not work and management refused to accept it. They thought I did know how to use a machine I also have at home. The patio was infested with mosquitos. The front desk staff focuses on selling you their inhouse services. I got the impression that the private car people they get are personal friends of the staff so I was very skeptical about using their services. The breakfast and housekeeping crew are attentive.
