Excellent family stay

Amazing property that feels very private and away from the crowds. Gorgeous ocean views from every villa and excellent helpful staff to help you with whatever you need. There’s a trail that allows you to walk directly into the heart of Oia and takes only 10 minutes. Great stay for a family of 4 adults and one child. Super safe and quiet and you’ll be able to see the Oia sunsets directly from your balcony or private pool/jacuzzi

While it was nestled away from the main attraction (town of Oia), it offered our family an opportunity to take in the beautiful scene, escape from reality and when we wanted to enter the chaos (Oia and all the tourists), it was a simple 10 minute walk.

No water...therefore no working amenities.

The property was picturesque, thebsunsets lovely abd property well maintained. It would be 5 star if they had water. Two thirds of the time we were there we had no water, use a bucket to flush the toilets with water taken from the pool. The hot tub jets dont work due to lack of water, no showers either, cant cook again no water. Need to wash clothes, wait no water. The staff was nice about it but i would never have booked for that price if they had stated the most important amentities wouldn't work most of the time. The would not make any adjustmebt othe than give bottled water when most amenties failed without water.

Beautiful stay at Oia Sunset Villas!

We had a magical, wonderful stay at Oia Sunset Villas- The Pearl. My husband and I, along with our two teenage daughters loved the villa and the entire property. These handful of villas are perched on the tip of Oia with beautiful views and a short, easy walk up to the main area with shops and food. Our villa was exactly as described and we did not want to leave. And the staff - Stella, Anna and Paval- all were so kind and attentive, helping us access excursions, trips, and dinner reservations. I also had a health scare when on the island and had to go to the hospital- they helped us navigate that and Stella even checked in on my daughters while my husband and I were at the ER. They were so kind. I would book again- the pools, the short walk to town, and beautiful views were so special. Thank you Oia Sunset Villas!

Stunning views and lovely property

A friend and I came to the island for a fun trip. Which is what we had! The Oia Sunset Villa made our stay enjoyable and lined up transportation to and from the airport (for a fee). Our driver was so kind and suggested places to visit while in Santorini.

We stayed in the Topaz and the accommodations were comfortable! The Villa offers shared pools, walk up bar and we noticed you could even get massages. The view of the sunset and the sea were stunning!

The staff was all friendly that we interacted with. You can tell they want to make your experience special.

We were one of three families who each stayed in our own villa on the property. We enjoyed the common space at the pool/bar. The property was clean/well maintained. The staff were responsive and wonderful at helping to book transfers/cabs as needed. There are not many amenities right on site - however, we were able to order food to be brought in (the breakfast was very good value), and Oia is conveniently about 5-10 walk (some uphill) on a stone walking path/away from traffic.

We loved our 4 bedroom villa with our own pool and hot tub! The property was far enough from Oia to be nice and quiet but also close enough to walk to. I’m not sure why the other reviews said the walk was bad, but it was only a 10 minute walk to Oia on a paved/lit walkway. We felt safe everytime we walked it and we had 3 kids with us. The staff were amazing. The receptionists, especially the one who works at night (didn’t get her name), was very friendly and attentive. It was a lot cheaper to order food from the hotel and have it delivered (free of charge) to our room. The food was good and so were the drinks, especially the $2 shots! We would highly recommend this hotel. Best view of the sunset right from our hotel balcony/on property!

Very sweet welcome basket and we appreciated the sweet parting gift. Ammoudi bay- and Oia although a little far was walkable -15 minutes. You really need a car for the area.

We really enjoyed staying at this property and were able to enjoy the sunsets from our private pool and hot tub every night and was much more enjoyable than going to town, which was overcrowded close to sunset. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helped with all of our requests and needs and helped to book a private yacht tour, which we greatly appreciated. They even have food delivery service available when you don't want to get out of the hot tub. The property is located in walking distance to Oia shopping and restaurants, but we still chose to drive to town because its a very steep walk.

Great place to stay to watch sunsets! The villa was very clean & had plenty of room. Only issue was the one bedroom
Was a loft without privacy and the girls knocked themselves out a few times hitting their heads on the wall/ceiling going up to the loft to go to bed. The ceiling curves around and isn’t practical when getting up there by a small ladder only to be hit by the wall when you get to the loft/landing. The other Actual bedroom had no air conditioning in the room itself but in the main quarters downstairs, so in order to get some ac in the room, you had to keep the door open, and did not have the privacy we wanted. Finally the only other issue is that it is not walkable to get to Oia from where the villas are. Not to say you can’t walk it, but it’s tough and not for beginners. Lots of steep uphill hiking and having to watch for some crazy drivers. We were drenched in sweat just to walk to breakfast our first morning there, so we took a taxi the rest of the time. The staff is helpful but there are no onsite restaurants, but you can order food from 2 restaurants nearby that deliver. All in all though it’s a wonderful place!

Sunset Villas is a quaint little spot that has much character. Villas were well appointed and the staff was over the top helpful. Anytime we needed a transport or dining reservation they were made immediately by Giorgio. The rooms and beds were very comfortable as were the pillows, and I’m a pillow snob. If I had one compliant It would be that the pools should be heated. We had some chilly weather and weren’t able to enjoy them at all as they were way too cold. Overall I give Sunset Villas an almost perfect 9.9 out of 10.

It was an amazing stay! The reception was super helpful in suggestions on what to do, where to go, how to get there, etc.

Wonderful property. The only issue is that it is rather far from the center of the city and you will need a taxi or a car rental. You maybe able to get a similar property closer to the city.

We are world travelers.

Never received a written answer from the Owner who lives in Athens. No partial refund after contacting him on Expedia and by email. Pathetic. Onsite staff is nice but stay elsewhere for 400 euros a night!

We stayed 4 nights in July 2021.

1) The AC unit in the main entrance of our villa turned off overnight. It is hot in Oia! The temperature on the ground floor and in the upper loft reached 81 F overnight and much higher during the day. Our teens had trouble sleeping, and one of them ended up sleeping next to the kitchen table on the basement level. :0(
The placement of the AC unit in the downstairs kitchen is a problem. There is no circulation or cooling in the master bedroom downstairs unless one keeps the master bedroom door open to allow the cooled air from the kitchen to reach the master bedroom. There is little PRIVACY for adults if you have your child sleeping in the kitchen!

Please replace the ground floor AC unit and re-position the downstairs AC unit into the Master Bedroom, not in the kitchen.

2) The safe in the master bedroom would not work with the electronic panel so we had to ask for the master key. Annoying!

Great facilities with nice location for family.

The pools and private jacuzzi are great with ocean view. The view is wonderful, it's not the view from the famous oia cliff view though. It is close to oia main village, you can go there by walk around 10 mins.

This place is so beautiful! We couldn't believe the amenities we had, and how big the villa was. It is so spacious, although it was expensive to book, we believe it was so worth it! It is walking distance to Oia town. My only concern is the narrow roads sand stairs we had to climb and how difficult it is during night to get back. My suggestion is to remember the road, and landmarks and do not trust google maps when heading back. Google maps made us go in unsafe roads to get back, so my suggestion is remember the way in which you go! Other than that, it was perfect! Great distance to main areas, but located in a nice isolated region!

COMPLETE SCAM DO NOT GO HERE!

One word SCAM!!! The villa is hard to find for any tourist as it’s far up in dangerous windy roads to reach. The “villa” was an outdated, uncomfortable house where the bedrooms are in a dark cramped basement. The view is construction going on! The “welcome basket” is fake fruit in a bowl...total scam! Don’t waste your time looking at this site...$750 a night for nothing.. had to ask for an extra towel as we were given one pp, there is no shampoo or bars of soap’s or anything, the beds were uncomfortable, sheets not good quality... we have nothing good to say about this place, complete rip off. Left and found competitors with everything an international travel is looking for- comfort and honest complete transparency. Avoid this place!!!

Oia Sunset Villas Best Viewing Unimpeded Site

We enjoyed our stay at both the Swinging Sunset and Diamond Villa during our stay. With a family of four each room had its own customization, friendly service and no issues were experienced during our stay a short walk to the black volcanic sand beach or the main areas of Oia. We were surrounded by blooming yellow flowers and will go back to the exact location for our next Santorini trip.

Flights were cancelled for 2 straight days of a 3 night stay. Hotel insisted me and my pregnant wife should take a 5+ hour ferry in choppy seas even though airline said this was not an option by time we were able to talk to an agent and were doubtful ferries would be running given adverse weather conditions.

Hotel had no flexibility with reservations and charged full stay even though they knew night 1 befpre scheduled arrival we would not be making the trip
