Francesco and team provided fabulous service. Communicated via WhatsApp and response was quick and provided resolution. The location is excellent, 10 min walk from Oia central tourist locations and from Ammouni bay. The villa was top notch and included a plunge pool. Breakfast was decent.
Note of caution if booking thru Expedia. It will state room has a private hot tub which was not the case. Also be sure if booking a villa with a hot tub if it's heated or unheated.

The villas were amazing and just what we needed. It was very spacious. The villas come with a small kitchen. The pool in front of our villa were perfect for dips after a day of exploring. The town is a short walk. Highly recommend.

By far the best stay ever, the service was really amazing! The 2 brothers were extremely helpful and courteous, always available, just a message away. I’ll book this hotel again for another trip, highly recommended, they will make it feel like home for anyone. The views are stunning, short walk to amazing Oia village with breath taking views. The jacuzzi was warm and super clean, they clean it every day and cover it when not being used. They gave welcome fruits, wine, bread and basic food, amazing cutlery. Everything was just impressive. Super clean and just amazing, super perfect!

Super! They were so attentive. I was with my 78 year old mom. They gave us a personal tour of the island. It had a full kitchen. We had coffee and they gave us bread, jam and fresh fruit. I totally recommend.

This is NOT a private villa and there is no hot tub! There is a luke warm pool that everyone can see from the street. We really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately there were so many issues. Upon checkout, Alex was extremely unprofessional and yelled in our faces. Very disrespectful! We were celebrating an engagement; there was nothing done to make this stay special. We were also not notified that we would be charged for laundry and “late checkout” due to the power going out for hours the morning we were leaving. We were sweating, could not charge our phones, and couldn’t get ready to get to our next destination. The place had ants all over the stairs and loud construction was going on the entire 8 day stay. Another couple checked in and was equally frustrated due to the false advertisement of what this place actually offers. Finally, we were told because this is a family business, they will dispute and delete all negative reviews. This is highly unprofessional and unacceptable since everyone deserves an honest review when choosing to spend their own money for all travel occasions.

Villas are located part way between Oia shopping and Ammoudi Bay which is a blessing and a curse since both require going up/down hills. However Ammoudi bay has a free shuttle hear the villas which is helpful. The beds at the villas are very hard. The pool is at a good temperature. It is not a hot tub though. Breakfast comes within an hour of when you select it delivered. Sunsets viewing options are close. Staff is helpful.

This property was perfecf for our stay in Oia Santorini. The property is down the hill from Oia. A quick 10 minute walk but steep hill. Outside of the property there were Free Shuttles to Ahmoudi bay where you have 4 great restaurants with perfect views of the Sunset. Sunset bar was our fav and also Michael Jordan and Oprah been here.. Alex our concierge took care of everything. Rentals and airport transfers. Also a great breakfast. The pool for each villa was perfect and made our stay in Santorini relaxing since there are not many beaches near Oia... Would definitely recommend to any American looking for perfect stay in Oia. Make sure you rent a car or vehicle if staying for few days to visit other towns. Oia is always crowded except for late evenings.

We loved this place, it was quiet and peaceful, away from the crowds and the noise. The view was beautiful aspecially when relaxing and cooling down by or in the pool. Place was clean and welcoming with food items waiting for us when we checked in. It was well apointed with a nice kitchen and fridge stocked with water, fruit, bread, and other items. Service was attentive and welcoming and we were all happy with our stay.
Note the walk to town is a little steep at about 15 minutes, so you will get your exercise. There are free shuttles to Ammoudi. Taxi to Oia is pricy relative to the 3 minute drive that it is, we chose to walk and enjoy the open air and the exercise.

We really had a pleasurable experience, especially as a family, very family, friendly resort, our host Alex at the front desk was just an amazing guy. Like a wizard he made everything happen in minutes.
The housekeeping stuff was also very pleasant and thorough with providing all services.

Great view of the bay and oioa sunsets. Lovely clean property. But it was a bit of walk to the main oioa center so this property is great if you want to be away from the hustle.

Good location just outside of beautiful downtown Oia and just a quick walk to fantastic Ammoudi port area. Hosts were very helpful in getting us a rental car and offered rides to Oia when we headed off to dinner or lunch. Great hosts!

Santorini is truly magnificent and breathtaking place! This property is a hidden gem and great find and very safe place to stay with young kids (A lot of the places in Santorini are by cliffside which is not ideal for kids). Moreover we had a wonderful welcome and service by the property manager Francesca. We have no words to praise as he received us from airport and had a welcome basket with essentials at the start of our stay. He is very humble person and helped us with rides to Fira and Oia as we didn't rent a car. Property is very spacious and equipped with all the basic necessities. This will be very memorable in our life for a long time and felt like home for 4 days. We have never come across such a nice property manager. This place and Francesca deserved more than 5 stars!!!

The personal touches that Francesco, the concierge provided. From driving us the town and picking us up, to arranging a rental car. Daily service was also very much appreciated by Alexandria. Also having a well equipped kitchen and getting coffee pods to last us the whole week. I would definitely stay there on our next trip to Santorini. Oh and having our own pool was truly a treat!

I was a little nervous travelling to Santorini with 3 children as I was always under the impression Santorini was aimed at couples. Katharos Pool Villas is the place to stay and perfect for families. Based at the top of Ammoudi bay (great for swimming in the sea and a little cliff jumping for dad and eldest son).
We had hired a car for the week but If staying local in Oia we really wouldn’t of needed it. Alex offered lifts into the town, but again only took 15 minutes to walk to the Caldera. The famous sunset is amazing and can be seen from the Villa. Everywhere is just so picturesque.
To add on arrival in our villa was a welcome good and drink hamper which was much appreciated.
There is even a smartphone with local SIM card in your room which makes it easier to make restaurant reservations during your stay, my personal phone struggled to connect to local numbers despite area code.

Very nice place to stay, very clean, staff is very very friendly, they received us with fresh fruit, the kitchen was ready to be use, we cooked some breakfast there with all ingredients provided by them. Excellent stay! Location is 10/10 with incredible views, very quite to be able to relax and distress and about a 10-15 minute walk to Oia with all restaurants and anything else you may need. Alex and his brother went above and beyond to accommodate us during our stay for about a week. They were responsive and anything we needed was answered/brought to us within a matter of minutes!

Property is very beautiful and very clean. We were very warmly welcomed with handfull of inclusive fruits and drinks and food in fridge. It was also very nice to see baby crib to be there for our small one.
Cons were that 3 out of 3 times I went to reception desk. There was no one there. Construction work around property made it unpleasing when enjoying pool outside or having breakfast. This villa was lovely! Everything was perfect and the owners are so lovely and helpful. They even gave us a lift in to town. You can walk to Ammoudi bay within 10 minutes, beach and main town within 15minutes. It's perfect and we loved our stay.

I stayed here a week with a young baby and my wife. These villas are stunning, each with a private pool. The service at this hotel is excellent - Francesco was able to help us with every single request, however big or small. I 100% recommended this place and cannot wait to come back.

Service my family received was 1st class from the moment we arrived at Katharos Villas. The facilities there are very good. The property itself is slightly outside of Oia and involves a 10 minute uphill scenic walk but this shouldn’t put anyone off - we were able to manage the walk easily with children aged 6 and 4 and on a couple of occasions Francesco very kindly gave us a lift. There are other nice touches such as the welcome basket, bottled water and fresh fruit. Overall Katharos Villas is excellent value for money and was ideal for families.

We booked to stay at Katheros after reading so many glowing reviews. What the reviews don't say is that the villas are not on the water and have views of the ocean obstructed by buildings across the road and telephone poles. We would have rather stayed in Oia or at a higher elevation as Santorini is all about the views. And for the price, at C$850 per night, my expectations were high that this would be a luxurious place, which it was not.
