This is a really good hotel for a short stay - much nicer on the inside than from the outside and there are good size rooms and a good rooftop pool/bar area with a superb view. Perfect for a layover and close to everything. Should add the staff were excellent too - very polite and helpful.

Short stay in a busy world.

The room was big. But the Aircon was to small for the room I had it on 18 which was the coldest setting and the room never got cold the shower never had any hot water. The breakfast was ok. But they never fully cooked your food. Always seemed to busy to care. It was a five minute walk to the Main Street.

Stayed 1n before flying home. Room clean, nice hotel, but reception although friendly, wasn't very helpful. Sent us to the wrong mall and did not help with trying to get a taxi. Its not close to anything so you will have to know how to get around in Bangkok.

This hotel is very centrally located and 3 blocks from Ploenchit BTS. So you can basically go anywhere in the city pretty easily. Breakfast is good and it’s a bargain.

This is a great location off on a little quiet side street. (SOI 2) 2 minute walk to Sukhumvit RD and all the shopping and night life you could ever want. It is a great hotel and very fairly priced considering the great location.

Typical American chained hotel that’s so out of touch with the city & its guests that it just doesn’t give warm welcoming vibes upon check in. “Don’t do this = fine” “No late check-out”

Location isn’t great either.

Given the options in the same location, you can do so much better.

Has Potential but Not This Time

Overall our stay was OK but could've been A LOT better.

Firstly, when asked about a room upgrade as part of my Gold Membership, this was completely ignored over email and when arriving, I was told the hotel was full but it couldn't have been more than 40% occupied.

Next, our room (201) was on the first floor facing the street so was prone to a lot of noise through the night - again not ideal especially given my Gold VIP Member expectation.

Third, I received a notification saying that I would have later check out (2pm) but on the day of check out had an angry receptionist denying this and demanding we check out at 12pm - we settled on 1pm in the end.

The one day we asked for the room to be made up, there were no towels delivered, this seemed to be a recurring theme as the pool ran out of towels around the same time each day.

In saying that, most of the staff were super friendly, the room top pool is a nice place to hang out, the drinks selection (and pricing) was good, location is good to get into the busy nightlife and the daily breakfast was great.

I wouldn't say it's a 4 star hotels, closer to 3-3.5 but I suppose you get what you pay for.

Very good option for a stay at the Nana area it’s along the road from the Marriott plenty of taxis McDonald’s at train station very good staff very clean room recommend the deluxe rooftop pool is brilliant , I wish the rooftop bar was actually open till the end of the evening and I think it closes at seven and the ponies open till 10 pm

It was perfect until other guests came and they were very noisy with their kids... and the duty manger \"Prince\" couldn't handle the situation and blame the us as guests why we didn't tell her about that before byt we did and again the same guests with their kids knocking on doors, playing and shouting . Very pleasant & helpful staff, room was very clean & to a high standard.
Although quite a way up a sidestreet from the main area they offered a free shuttle buggy to get you nearer to town & taxi's.
Very good roof-top pool & bar/snacks.
Good nreakfast options available, reasonably priced.
Only slight moan was that the mini bar in the room was not restocked after use & a lot of confusion at recetion when checking out as to what had been used from the mini bar.

I left the tip section for my sky bar reciept blank and the bartender wrote a tip for himself after i signed and gave back the reciept. Fortunately the hotel reversed the charge, but i won't stay there again or recommend this hotel for this incident and other reasons also.

Rooms nice and clean. Roof top pool was lovely. Hotel was perfectly located to local transport and within walking distance to the high end shopping area or outdoor markets depending on what you are looking for. Plenty of street food round and about which is well worth a try.
Staff were all very helpful, breakfast was included and it was lovely. All in all a great property at a great price.

The hotel was very clean and modern. The staff were more than welcoming and made me feel right at home! The gym facilities were great considering how small it was. Maybe some blinds at the windows would be good to stop the sun shining through and ruining the purpose of the air conditioner. The pool area was great, as well as the small rooftop bar. Had a great time here and would definitely come back!

This was my second time staying at the Surestay Plus by Best Western. The hotel is great and meets all my expectations for a 4 four star hotel. The price is affordable and the staff is friendly and helpful. The room is spacious, clean and quiet. The bed is very comfortable. The swimming pool on the roof is awesome!

Hotel was in a great location as its only a fee minutes walk to the metro station and to main roads with pubs and restaurants. The staff are very helpful and will tell you how to get around and where to go.
The room was nice and comfortable but the house keeping would only fix the bed and change the towels they wouldnt actually clean the room.

Check-in was quick and pleasant, the staff was very quick to offer assistance and service. The room was clean and comfortable. The street is rather dark, and I was glad to have a friend to walk with as we walked to the alley to get to the next street where all the food and nightlife was. It was a short five-minutes walk; I'm sure the hotel would have taken us in the tuk-tuk if we had asked.

My girlfriend and I really really liked our stay here. Of the 5 hotels we stayed at all over south east Asia on our recent trip this one was the best. What brought it over the top was the friendly staff. Everyone who worked there was 10/10 especially the 2 younger male and female workers on the pool/bar and the cleaning lady. This hotel had everything we needed in a hotel and if we ever go back to Bangkok we will stay here again. Good price, really clean room, super friendly staff and wonderful rooftop pool/bar. We requested two rooms and the rooms were ready as needed. Although on different floors and they were booked under the same name. The hotel is up to date and felt very new and fresh. One guest did mention that her pillow cases were dirty and asked for new bedding. Other than that the stay was very pleasant. We didn’t not eat breakfast and the local area was near shopping, restaurants and entertainment.

The hotel was new and generally quite comfortable. It provides a free buggy service from the hotel to Phloenchit Center, which is next to the main road. While it is quite further in the alley, it is within walking distance from Phloenchit BTS station. However, the lobby design can be improved to make it more grand. Service staff were generally friendly. They have a nice rooftop pool too!

Fair hotel with this room rates

Pros: Room conditions and amenities are good. Bed is comfortable. Service is good. Swimming pool is great. Breakfast doesn't have much choices and not tasty but good enough if you don't have high demands.

Cons: Room cleanliness is bad. There's a pack of dust under the chair and glue-like stuff on the floor near the window. That means it hasn't been cleaned thoroughly. The temp. of water of shower is hard to control. It only has hot water or cold water and there's no way to get warm water no matter how I turn the knob. And the water pressure is low. The location is a bit far from BTS. It takes about 10 mins walk. When you are very tried after whole day sightseeing, 10 mins walk is really far. Recommend to take the free shuttle of hotel if possible.

A lovely brand new hotel!

Had an amazing stay at this hotel. It is a lovely sparkly brand new hotel! Bedroom is lovelyyy and the bed is so comfortable! I loved coming back to the room everyday. The decor is so fresh and modern. Service was immaculate. Everytime we needed something they were quick to assist. The location was good too. One thing to beware is DO NOT ask the hotel to give you advice on what tours you can go on. We did that and they directed us to one of their security staff who tried to fob us off and get us to go with his friend who is a cab driver - the cab driver knows no English and regularly stands outside to try and steal tour companies customers who are waiting for their pick up!! For good tours go to ‘Grace Hotel’ or any travel shops on Sukhumvit Road!

I was upset because I had made a reservation at this by accident because the hotel I was trying to reserve had basically the same name. Best western premier Sukumvit, also in Bangkokand I drove to this one to find out I had no reservations and I was so upset when I drove a long way to the wrong one and I could not find my reservation for the write hotel so I had to reserve another hotel nearby and I could not get a refund from hotels .com because I had gone for the cheapest price. All in all it was a bad day.
