Cannot fault this hotel. What a wonderful hotel, right on the river, quiet location, walkable lovely walk to the city centre along the river, spacious beautiful room, large ceiling windows that open, amazing food and buffet breakfast, welcoming and friendly staff that went above and beyond.
Ness Walk needs to be rated 10/5. We enjoyed our stay so much we really did not want to leave.

Hands down one of the best service experiences I’ve ever had. Both my wife and I commented separately about this as literally every staff member was extremely welcoming. Started with the welcome drinks in the lounge as they checked us in, the housekeeping staff and everyone in between. We didn’t pass a single staff member without getting a smile, them wishing us a good day and asking if we needed anything. I’ve traveled to 60+ countries, I live in Dubai where we have some of the best service in the world and Ness Walk stood out as one of the best experiences we’ve had. The location of the hotel is perfect, the room was comfortable and breakfast was great. We’re coming back!

Excellent service and extremely clean, spacious rooms. Staff were so welcoming, helpful and kind! The breakfasts were delicious. The hotel is situated at a quiet place next to the river, that is an easy and quick stroll into the main hub of town. Be mindful of the electronic gate when it opens inward so you don’t have to quickly reverse your car as you leave the hotel.

Our stay in Ness Walk Hotel

Ness Walk Hotel is amazing!
Although the location is a bit far for walking with suitcases from city center, it is definitely worth it as you pass through the calming and uh so beautiful river Ness.
The stuff is very pleasant, however not always attentive to details:
Upon our arrival we were kindly suggested to wait at the lobby till our room was ready and been offered a glass of champagne.
We stated we are not drinking alcohol and immediately were suggested an elder water instead, but to get it in champagne glasses.
We had gladly accepted the offer only to recieve an alcoholic beverage regardless stating we are not consuming alcohol...
As we pointed out to their mistake, they had ask for forgivness and brought as the right drink in the second attempt.
Almost the same mishap happened in the morning during breakfast as well, which was plain annoying.
But if we disregard the human mistakes, the hotel itself is beautifully designed, is very clean and located in a sweet spot just outside river Ness walkway which is lovely!

Having come from another 5 star, this was a little disappointing. The breakfast was chaotic, cold pastries, tiny knob of butter, husband finished meal before my only order of toast came out and walking back and forth to bar area for stuff wasn't great. Paying for parking when you're a customer is just greedy, so we had to lug our stuff from a public car park. Bed comfy and room clean.

One thing to note was that there is a 20 pound overnight parking fee, which seems excessive and like a hidden fee (never a fan of those). But overall loved my stay here.

We stayed for 2 nights in the Rowan suite. It was absolutely brilliant, room was immaculate and very clean. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and even showed us to our room and how to use some of the amenities. We had a room right next to the reception desk. It was awful. Very noisy. Every time someone went out to smoke or whatever you could hear every conversation. Also the car parking was in front of our window which is gravel so you could hear it every time someone left.
I will say the bathrooms and the bar is very nice.

The warm welcome we received was exemplary. Grace, Steve and the sweet little local cat (I forget her name!) in particular ensured our (short) stay got off to the perfect start and the service remained exceptional throughout.

Nice hotel in a good location with lovely staff who are always available to help.

Unfortunately the breakfast was disappointing for my wife. She asked for the porridge but with water instead of milk as she is lactose intolerant and we were told it was pre prepared and that it couldn’t be cooked with water (this isn’t a 5 star service.) Separately, today at breakfast they ran out of yoghurt and no alternative was offered. Again, I would not have expected this of a 5 star hotel as there was still over an hour left of breakfast service.

Rooms are pleasant and the hotel overall is nice but compared to other 5 star hotels we have stayed in it is quite far off.

There are better value hotels in Inverness along the river.
