No instructions for the Jacuzzi. TV too low to be seen if laying in bed. They forgot us at breakfast. Placed our order and had continental but our cooked order did not arrive. No one checked on us until the end of service. They then hastily made us breakfast as restaurant was closed. It did taste nice!

What a gem, the Rocpool deserves 6 stars if I could , the included afternoon tea and tasting spoons are superb quality so much you don’t need to worry about eating out , the breakfast is incredible- try the Arnold Bennett omelette - amazing.

We had agreat tome at this luxury boutique hotel. They had thought of everything from the huge comfortable bed to the spacious bathroom . All extras were included and that meant an exquisite afternoon tea, substantial breakfast, and snacks and drinks in the room and reception area. The staff were courteous, friendly and professional. Small but packs a punch
Stayed here overnight as part of a longer trip. All I can say is I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. From the minute you walk through the front door until you leave you feel comfortable and pampered. They do not offer dinner as an option but they provide lots of extras eg. Afternoon tea , tasting spoons, goodies in the mini fridge . More importantly this is all provided with good grace and a smile. Room and bed was extremely comfortable with top end toiletries. Also forgot to mention you are greeted with a glass of fizz( most welcome).

The staff were fantastic, helpful, and friendly. The room included breakfast (which we didn’t make it to 😂), afternoon tea (was out for that as well), and a cocktail & canapé hour in the bar (which we did make). The cocktail and canapé hour was great-the nibbles were tasty and there was a good selection of drinks to choose from. We were even offered a second drink! The best bit was our room had a balcony with a hot tub-which I had no idea about when I made the booking. We had a fab couple of nights there and highly recommend this hotel.

This is a very comfortable hotel conveniently situated near the centre of Inverness with free parking. The rooms are very well appointed, with interesting decor. There is a large bar. The staff were friendly and attentive. We have previously stayed here and had an excellent dinner, so it was a bit disappointing that this is not currently offered. However, there are a number of very good restaurants nearby.

Lovely boutique hotel just a 10 minute walk from the city center. Rooms are big and the bathroom was large and gorgeous. Be sure to enjoy the large soaking tub! Service was wonderful. As a boutique hotel - you can tell the staff are “jack of all trades” and will do anything to make your stay pleasant.
We ate dinner at the R bar one night and the food was delicious.
The only issues we had was our room was incredibly warm our last night and when we plugged in our fan it was broken. Also-the fridge in our mini bar was not working so all the beverages were warm. We did not report this to management- If we would when I know they would have fixed it.
If you are driving in- there is a small car park adjacent to the hotel and is incredibly easy to get in and out of.

We booked to stay at this hotel as it was part of the Luxury Scotland Hotel Group, however the Rockpool Reserve Hotel is certainly not a 5 star luxury hotel. Upon checking in we were taken down 2 flights of stairs and let into a room next to the kitchen.

The hotel was good. The employees were great. From check-in to breakfast they were all kind and always looking to extend themselves to their best abilities. The down side was, the air conditioning unit was broken and the bathroom fan didn't clear the air at all, so after a shower the whole room was humid and damp. We were told to open the window however the neighborhood smelt of burning rubber and it was an irritant in the throat. They advertise as a 5 star hotel but were unable to get a service engineer to address the issue for our entire Friday-Sunday stay.

Yes, it’s a boutique hotel (only 11 rooms) with upscale touches, but not our favorite on our recent trip to Scotland. Staff is friendly, rooms are quirky and definitely the photos and room categories don’t fully match. We had a room category called the decadent room and the photos were only for 1 of the decadent rooms, the others were different - our was not the room we thought it would be so was a bit disappointing. Hotel is close to the road, but road noise was ok. Bar open late, drinks reasonable priced. Be warned, if you and your partner are not used to seeing each other on the toilet, the bathroom doors are only partially frosted - your call.

Inverness isn’t a cheap place to stay but I feel this venue, while delivering a great service, is overpriced. For the money you expect everything to be perfect which is why I feel the need to be critical. The listing states robes are available - they’re not - and small things like charging for the small packets of biscuits in the room (I’ve never seen that in any hotel I’ve stayed in). Also toiletries weren’t replaced. That’s not to say there aren’t great things about it: the staff are very attentive and the breakfast is tasty.

The staff was very rude including the manager. We needed non feather pillows which they didnt have other than very old foam pillow that were hard and falling apart. Our toilet did not work and we dealt with overflow issues for two days before they finally responded. Far from a five star property.

There are only 11 rooms at this boutique hotel, and the staff is just wonderful. My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. It's a great location -- easy walk to downtown, yet far enough away that i's very quiet. I'd definitely stay here again.
