Best breakfast I have seen at any hotel. Everything else was great too. Note that If you have chemical sensitivities, there were strong smells from what seemed like cleaning chemicals. Maybe carpet cleaning because it was theoughout the whole hotel. Hopefully it was just a temporary thing.

Breakfast menu was really simple yet tasty.
Room looked tired and dated but still reasonably clean. Only the hairdryer was all covered with dust and i don't understand why it has to be permanently attached to the wall, on the right hand side, with fairly short cable which makes drying the hair for a left handed person, really uncomfortable.
The corridors of the hotel are really dark.

This was a gem of a find! Halls a bit dark and in need of some love, but my room was spacious and spotless with a very comfortable bed and lovely hot showers with great water pressure. Staff were helpful and welcoming. The lobby was lovely, with comfortable couches and chairs and was decorated for the Holidays.

Bar staff were not welcoming at all, despite us being the only ones in the bar. Was almost like we were an inconvenience. Won’t be staying again.

Loved the room, fantastic shower! Bed is extremely comfortable. Staff were all exceptionally helpful and friendly to speak with. I am very glad I chose this hotel for my stay in Inverness. Also located in the perfect spot to be close to anything you may want or need within walking distance. All my needs were met within 1-10 minutes of walking. Also very close to the rail station and bus station.

B&B Hotel Inverness was the best accomodation I've stayed in yet, except a couple of private homes. The friendly helpful staff who obviously enjoyed working there was the number 1 positive feature of B&B Hotel Inverness.
My room was spotlessly clean and the temperature was just right ... and I could adjust it as needed.
The proximity to the train station and other amenities was perfect. Bus tours leaving for other destinations were also a walkable distance.
Unrelated to the B&B Hotel itself, I found that everyone I met and/or spoke with was friendly, helpful, and cheerful.

Nice corner room with two beds, ample space for two and mattress is comfortable! Very prime central location, only con was our room wasn’t ready even when it was check-in time. They did offer us a hot drink while we waited and it’s probably because the check out is 12pm. They have a billiards table in the lobby as well.

Good location in downtown Inverness. The bed and pillow were a little harder than preferred, but nothing terrible. It was quite loud, but that was to be expected due to the location. Wish there were a fan available since the window could not open unless we wanted to hear the constant noise of the town.

As you enter the Hotel it is a dark dismal reception, on closer inspection the whole setup needs a deep clean and refurbishment.

Staff appear disinterested.

Rooms were clean and comfortable, but against could do with a paint job.

This breakfast was probably the best deal that we got during our trip to Great Britain. If you pre-pay 10 pounds you get all the food you want, including fresh fruit, two different styles of eggs and an assortment of breads. Everything was fresh and delicious.

It may had been fumes coming up the elevator shaft from the kitchen or trash receptacle. It smelled like onions and sauerkraut or garbage or a mildew not sure but it was all I could think about and it made me nauseous.

The check-in staff had limited knowledge on where they parked the car off site, about 5 minutes away and where to park the car while I was unloading. Thankfully a nice policeman just gave me a warning for parking in the wrong place that looked like the right place! As the hotel faces a somewhat noisy Street. I asked for interior room but was given a outside room. I was too tired to switch rooms so I put in my ear plugs and put my pillow over our heads and slept fairly well. On the positive side, they had an excellent breakfast!

This was our worst and highest priced stay out of 8 towns/cities. The room was so hot and the outdoor temperature was only 20°C, it would have been unbearable if it was warmer outdoors. When opening the windows, there was a foul odor coming from the alley below and the noise from the seagulls and vehicles screeching was too much! We agree with conserving water, so please provide adequate hooks to hang the towels, the hooks are currently in the shower area where they don't dry.

I had a good stay at B&B HOTEL Inverness. The location is convenient and the staff were friendly, which made the experience pleasant overall. However, the room could use some attention to detail and improvement. The shower screen wasn’t sealing properly, so water spilled out onto the floor, and I noticed a bit of mold in some small corners. There was also a loose panel behind the toilet that gave the bathroom a slightly unfinished feel. Nothing major, but with a little maintenance this hotel could easily deliver a much better experience.

Rough hotel all around

This hotel is a good location but it’s run down and dirty. They have tried to make the lower entry fun but the service is meh and you get looked at like an inconvenience.

We were very disappointed to have the room be extremely hot. No ac and no fan. Windows open and you get bad smells and noise all night. The room has a distinct smell and I assume it’s the mold in the bathroom…. The bed is hard as plywood. I looked for other hotels and had we been able to switch to another we would have. Disappointing to say the least, if it were the cheapest hotel that would be one thing but it’s not

Great location

It’s a great location, close to rail station and city center where you’ll find lots of shopping and dining options. The river is a block away with more options across the bridge. As many hotels are doing these days, you have to request room cleaning and/or new towels. Not a big deal but worth mentioning. Room was comfortable…a decent size with some storage. Staff were friendly and available. Breakfast is available for a price. Overall we’d stay here again
