Room was cold when i arrived. I didn’t know how it worked so I had to go down to the reception a couple of times for fixing it. took 20 minutes for the room to go to temperature. The corridor was warmer. two days later, after a full day of work, tired, couldn’t wait to have a shower, but I couldn’t as the room was cold again. had to tell the reception and wait another half an hour. Parking at the hotel is not included and cost double of the public parking, about 5 minutes by foot from the hotel. A “complimentary” open bottle with screw cap filled with tap water and didn’t even seemed safe: who tells me it has been cleaned and the guest before me didn’t drink straight from the bottle?
On a positive note, nice and clean bathroom and good shower cabin. good coffee machine with Nescafé capsules. Kettle available too.

River Ness Hotel was lovely! The hotel is beautifully furnished, the staff are excellent, and the location is truly ideal. We enjoyed 5 nights here in comfy beds and clean rooms. It was weird as they didn’t even have face clothes in the rooms. The place was tired with no atmosphere. It really brought our trip to a lower level five we left 1200 bucks Canadian at the place. Very disappointed.

They offered nothing for compensation at all. We went down to the bar and i asked is there something you can offer and person on duty said they can offer us a free drink. I am more annoyed that i had to ask instead of them just offering something.
The other issue was the room temperature. It was soooo warm and we had the temperature turned as low as it would go and the fan as high as it could go.

We got to stay here one night before leaving the highlands to explore the city of Inverness. Hotel is nicely located near many highlights of this small quaint city. It's super clean and well updated. We were able to walk to the train station with our luggage which made departure very simple.
