This was a palace! Definitely worth the money spent and check in was a snap for those who are not technology challenged. Older travelers may be cautious as there a few flights of stairs to climb and check in involves emails and not traditional check in with a front desk, Parking is not on site, but certainly walkable. Washer/dryer in suite was a welcome addition and the views were stunning from the room. Right in the center of town.

Our apartment was huge. We had a washer AND a separate dryer, two big bedrooms, two bathrooms, and open concept kitchen, dining, and living room. The kitchen had plenty of pots, pans, and utensils. Our apartment was spotless and housekeeping was wonderful during our stay. We were directly across the street from Inverness Castle and one block from River Ness. There is no place better to stay in Inverness!

This place.was perfect for our stay in Inverness. We only stayed two nights, but the apartment would have good for a long stay. You can't beat the location, just short walks to shops, restaurants and pubs. Our room had a view of Inverness Castle. The apartment has a great layout with a large kitchen and livingroom area.
There are some minor challenges to staying here. First the parking is free but off site and the grage hours are very limited, 9am-5pm. We arrived late and left early for our distillery tour, so we ended up parking in the Cathederal public lot. Its a 5-10 min walk. The second issue to be prepared is there is a small loading zone for the apartment, but its in the very busy High Street. Once you unload and get into the buliding, its a steep stairway up to the suites. Getting the suitecases up this was a workout.
All of thay aside, we will rebook the apartments when we return to Inverness.

Very nice flat, spacious, modern, comfortable beds, large rooms, good kitchen and living room space. For people from America- everything is behind a door in this flat. The main door to the flat enters into a hallway with more closed doors. One for each bedroom, bathroom, living room/kitchen. It is not open space like we are used to. Had a great stay here with my family. Plenty of things to do nearby and the free parking is a huge plus. They have everything outlined in the room so you’ll never have a question about anything. The ONLY somewhat of an issue, which comes with the territory is the noise you get from all the people leaving the bars nearby. It gets very loud, but my one year old didn’t wake up once from it, so all is well.

The parking does say on site but it is a little walk away and the unloading bay is often filled with parked cars so could be difficult getting in and out of the property. There is also no lift. Otherwise we had a really nice stay and the apartment was well equipped and great for our dog.

Fantastic. We stayed at the Highlands Suites 2 years ago and that was great but this was better. Amazing location, easy to find and navigate. Clean, well appointed and spacious for our family of 5. Grocery Shopping at M&S is always an adventure, restaurants on the river are easily walkable and Main Street shopping is right outside the door. Parking is offsite at the Eastgate Ctr but worked fine. Much less Agro than on premises parking at Highlands Suites. Excellent, Excellent… highly recommend.

The only thing that was disappointing was the fact that we had to haul our heavy luggage up and down a steep staircase. We knew in advance there wasn’t a lift. It was just frustrating after walking from the train station to the apartment with all of our luggage and then having to make several trips up and down the stairs. Other than that, it was a lovely place to stay and very comfortable. We would absolutely stay there again.

This was an unusual stop as we got there pst check in and only had electronic communication and access which was a little confusing at first. However, once we figured everything out it was just fine. Not for novice travelers but a breeze for seasoned travelers.

Communication not great, day before we were set to arrive they send something for the security deposit, then emails kept getting lost. When we arrive the bath with a shower was not even a shower stall or pan, it was the whole bathroom leading to a slippery mess in the shower itself. You would think the “city center” means well, you are in the city center but it doesn’t, if we didn’t have a car we would have been very upset.

The condo was in a quiet neighborhood outside of the downtown Inverness area, yet walkable to downtown. Very clean and easy self check in. Great setup for a family of four, with two bedrooms pull out sofa sleeper, combined washer/dryer, and coffee maker. A couple minor things: the exact address should be provided early in the confirmation email (a taxi driver tried to take us to the more central downtown location), provide at least a few extra rolls of toilet paper (there were none...except for the two that were already hanging in the bathrooms). Other than that, I would stay again.

We overall had a great stay at the Inverness City Suites. We had a large 2-bd apartment for 2 nights. Location was perfect, right in the center of town. The apartment was large and overall comfortable. Great value overall.
