Great location for theme park
We stayed in a family room that was large enough for two adults and two kids (12 & 10). The room had two large beds and a couple of chairs. Though the room was very comfortable, but it did lack basics as there were no tea making facilities and no iron. The reception was also unable to provide a kettle! No water provided either and nowhere in the hotel to get ice or even hot water to make tea.
Note when arriving by car, you have to park about 30m away from the hotel reception and carry your bags in. You then have to immediately move your car to the carpark. The bell staff weren't particularly helpful. On the plus side, the reception staff were helpful and polite.
We opted for half board which was good value. Big buffet breakfast in the morning and another good buffet in the evening. But you have to pre-book a time slot (40mins for breakfast and 60 minutes for dinner). Waiters come round and remind you how much longer you have before you need to leave! Good food though.
The hotel is only 7 mins walk from the 'hotel guest' entrance of PortAventura. The walk is through themed grounds (Wild West) lined with a few restaurants, so a nice walk. Our stay included fast track tickets to the park as well, so we could enter and leave the park unrestricted throughout the stay, and use the fast track 10 card on 10 attractions within two days of first use.

Awful night sleep room was musty because there was mould growing in wardrobes and bed sheets were covered in bodily fluids. Steer clear of this hotel

Hotel was beautiful, clean well organised and smelled amazing. The far west theme from Portaventura park was continued throughout the area and the various hotels around. Really lovely touch. The staff were all so helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and well maintained by housekeeping. Food was delicious and the variety off food available was excellent. Can’t wait to go back. Fantastic family holiday.

Downsides - no communication as to how to get from front of the park to the hotel (it’s very far at least 20 minute walk through the park) a taxi is needed if you don’t walk, no shuttle. If there is a shuttle it’s not clear how to book. We had to walk from Ferrari land to our hotel at 10.30 pm because there were no taxis no shuttles and you cannot walk through the park. This is the second year this has happened to us and it leaves a sour taste.

If you can get the deluxe room at a good enough price, it’s worth doing as you get express pass included for all members of your group.

We loved the daily walk through Hotel Gold River and seeing all the Wild West themed buildings… and you get the perk of being able to enter the park through a park gate a little before the front gate opens to day visitors.

Colorado Creek hotel awesome
Overall the hotel and park was excellent. The hotel was super clean and well managed. It was very new and in great condition. Staff super friendly. Front desk did get busy at times and it was a little frustrating waiting to swap towels for example. Some of the staff also did t speak great English, although it wasn’t a huge issue as it was good enough. The hotel is also about a 10ish walk to the back of the park entrance and it is uphill and not shaded so is quite tiring after a long day in park. This said it is first class hotel and we will be going back for sure. We were in a deluxe family room. Plenty big enough for 4 and we had a garden view. Not sure I would pay extra for that view next time though but deluxe room was great. Overall excellent family hotel and quality of buffet food was really excellent as was choice.

The resort was excellent. The property was in perfect condition - as excellent as you would expect in such a new hotel of course - and the theming of the other buildings in the complex, from the river cabins to the secondary hotel buildings, all themed on the Wild West, really was a treat. The atmosphere was really very enjoyable, especially with the warm evenings and what must be reduced numbers when compared with your average end of July break. Every aspect of the stay was great, and the five minute walk to the theme park through the resort was a pleasure. We will 100% be returning soon.

Fabulous hotel! Loved the decor and the walk from the hotel to the park which was like being on a film set. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Loved our stay at Portaventura - felt very safe with Covid measures.

Lovely new hotel, with very spacious bedroom for our family of 2 adults and 2 children for an overnight stay. Bathroom huge too with bath and double sinks. Didn’t get a view of the fireworks. Great to get the Express passes for the park included, but not impressed that they didn’t cover the newest attraction in the park - Mission Street. Went for the half board option. In hindsight probably wouldn’t book for dinner again as although quality was good the variety on offer didn’t suit our family, Breakfast good though, Once again like other Spanish hotels i didn’t find the staff at check-in friendly at all or welcoming. The queue for check in was about 40 minutes, really can’t understand why it takes so long??!! We got a text about 4.15 to say our room was ready with the room number, we had already been given the room card keys at check-in as these doubled up as our park admissions. , But when we went up with our 4 cards none of them worked, so had to go back down to reception to get them re-programmed. Staff again not friendly or apologetic. Overall I would recommend, as we got a good deal with premium passes included, just don’t expect service with a smile!

We stayed at this hotel with our family as we visited Port Aventura park. The hotel bed linen smelled very bad and the towels in the shower were not extremely clean as someone would expect. Dinner did not have great options nor did it have great quality, so the second night we chose to not eat in the hotel although we had paid for it. The only great thing was the breakfast! The breakfast buffet was amazing with great options for the whole family.

Prendre cette hôtel, c’est être au plus loin du parc marcher des kilomètres pour y arriver et je ne vous explique pas quand on a oublié quelque chose qu’il faut repartir à l’hôtel. Au final on a aucun avantage aucun accessibilité et de rapidité au parc certes illimité mais à la fin on est mort de fatigue,. Beaucoup trop de marche, trop trop éloigné un chemin plus rapide où comme d’autres parc une navette pour faciliter l’accès pour les gens de l’hôtel seraient pas un luxe. Concernant la langue française c’est très compliqué pas beaucoup n’en parle. Les chambres sont confortables. En revanche même si il fait beau et pas froid, l’hôtel est en mode chauffage en octobre, on s’est fait avoir en mettant la climatisation sauf qu’il n’y avait pas de climatisation mais du chauffage quand j’ai appelé l’accueil pour prévenir que la climatisation ne fonctionnait pas. Je ne vous explique pas les deux nuits qu’on a passé sans le savoir au départ. Concernant les services de l’hôtel pour un quatre-étoiles, nous constatons beaucoup moins de service qu’ailleurs, la restauration avec le temps de rapidité de 40 minutes reste trop court surtout quand on a fait tout le parc et se dépêcher pour venir manger ça c’est trop compliqué. On est resté trois soirs, et pas de grande différence de repas, un buffet pratiquement toujours la même chose, même au petit déjeuner.

Great themepark hotel, not so great service
PortAventura is quite similar to Disneyland, both in size and quality, and Hotel Colorado is quite nice and very thematic. However, the service was terrible. The only good service was the guy helping us with our luggage. 5/5 for the park, and the hotel itself, but 3/5 for non-functioning AC in the room and too many restrictive rules to have fun in the pool, and 1/5 for the breakfast, as you need to arrive within a 30 min window, and finish within another 30 min window. No exceptions, and very rigid. Great park and good hotel, but be prepared for a very rigid and unflexible system at breakfast.

Es un hotel muy confortable, donde todo el personal es muy amable. El servicio de desayunos y cenas es muy completo, y de calidad.
Sólo un aspecto no tan positivo: la distancia al parque. Es el más alejado y eso lo hace un poco menos práctico, ya que el parque, de por sí, es muy grande.

Nos fieron una habitación que se le salía el agua a mares, cada vez que dábamos el grifo del lavabo. Llame tres veces a recepción, en tres horas, siempre me decían que enviaban a alguien de mantenimiento. La última vez que llame me contestaron que solo tenían una persona de mantenimiento para 4 hoteles. Lamentable.

Al entrar todo bien pero al llegar a la habitación vimos hormigas no le dimos importancia pues pensamos que sería una errante y poco más.. pero al despertarnos al día siguiente teníamos toda nuestra ropa infestada de hormigas y la mochila donde teníamos algo de comida del crío llenísima de hormigas. Lo informamos al hotel y su solución fue unas bebidas gratis únicamente... La verdad que esperaba más del hotel siguiente más caro de port aventura...

Très bon séjour dans un complexe très agréable
Joli complexe à 5 min à pieds du Parc. Ambiance western réussie, familiale, avec une belle piscine chauffée très agréable. Petit bémol : petit déjeuner et repas le soir chronométrés à 40 min et 1h...trop court pour les vacances. Les buffets sont variés et chacun y trouvera son bonheur. Personnel agréable. Très très bon séjour.

La única pega es la distancia con el parque ya que en verano con el calor el paseo puede ser sofocante. Seria muy recomendable tener algún servicio de transporte a la entrada del parque aunque fuera de pago.

Port Aventura とFerrari Landがセットでお得なホテルです。家族向けに特化した施設と言えます。建物は新しく管理も行き届いていて清潔で綺麗です。朝食、夕食のブッフェは種類も多くて及第点以上ですが、残念なのは、夕食の材料は安価なもの中心なため、目玉となるような品はありません。部屋のアメニティも最低限で、スリッパやティッシュ、歯ブラシも勿論ありません。Ritualと謳っている割にシャワージェルとハンドソープしかなく、期待はずれでした。Hotels.comのSilver会員向けVIPサービスである食事・ドリンク20%オフも、ホテルからは部屋のミニバーにのみ対象との案内が事前にありましたが、実際のところ部屋にミニバーはなく、？？？なんだかなぁ…と言う残念な状態です。施設コンディションが良いだけにサービスを期待しましたが、期待はずれでした。

Tolles Hotel mit wunderschönem Theming
Das Hotel ist sehr neu und bietet einen tollen Komfort. Insbesondere bei Buchung von Frühstück und Abendessen waren wir - auch gegenüber dem Hotel Port Aventura - begeistert. Der Pool ist dagegen klein und bietet weniger. Allerdings kann unproblematisch der Pool des Hotels Gold River mitbenutzt werden. Man sollte sich bei einem Besuch des Parks mit Übernachtung für dieses Hotel entscheiden, zumal auch ein Expresspass enthalten ist. Dies gilt allerdings nicht, wenn man sehr schlecht zufuß ist, weil der Weg doch etwas weiter ist als bei den meisten anderen Parkhotels.
