This was a great option for me while attending a three day conference in Oslo. It’s very walkable and close to many options for transportation. Plenty of food and convenience options nearby. It was clean and in a great location. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had everything you need. There was even an in unit clothes washer.

The drawbacks were the super tiny shower in the micro bathroom. I’m not even 6 feet tall, and basically had to maneuver to clean myself in the shower. I think they would be very wise to eliminate the laundry machine and make a shower built for adults.

In addition to being tiny, the shower would only heat up to close to warm. The sink goes to scalding hot, but the shower goes to maybe baby bath water temp. On cold mornings, it really felt a little like taking a cold shower. I need to point out though, that I did not notify them, and if I had, over they would have fixed this.

The apartment was great. Bedroom was pretty small and tight to navigate around the bed. But otherwise great. Very nice space with fully equipped kitchen and a clothes washer. Our issue that we had here was with the noise from the neighborhood. The area has a vibrant nightlife and was extremely loud. There were people talking, laughing, yelling all hours of the night. Car horns were honked throughout the night - even between 3am and 4am. This happened every night of our stay. One night a partygoer sat on the steps across from our window and vomited for an hour or so. The first night I woke up at 3:30am from the noise and put on my noise cancelling headphones. I was then able to sleep and did this for the remainder of the nights. Otherwise the apartment was everything we needed and very conveniently located.

Liked the location of the property.
Viasat TV option in English were appreciated but could be improved with a channel for children/teenagers or a payable Movie channel.
The overall decoration, use of colours and atmosphere of the flat was very pleasant.
An extra light (brighter) in the main room would have been appreciated as well as a second sofa or another armchair as the comfy seating area was limited for a family of 5.
But we had a very good stay. Thank you!

The location of the property was great; train station, sights, restaurants, parks, etc were all within walking distance. The neighborhood was quiet and pretty. The apartment itself was quite spacious, it was two floors with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Lots of windows too. There was a washer but no dryer. The only think that bothered me a bit was a humming in the first floor (where 2 of the 3 bedrooms were, and both bathrooms). The noise was continuous, all day long. It would maybe bother you if you slept downstairs. Other than that the place was great, super clean, and comfortable. Be careful with the steep steps too.

Everything was good, except the check in process, it located somewhere near the apartment, not the same building, it take a while to find the reception during the rainy day ; BTW, the apartment is great, quite big, nice kitchen and kitchentery, good heater, good location, friendly reception, good room, I like everything except the check in process

A stunning home from home, close to the centre of Oslo. Clean and freindly, it was suppied with everything we needed. Within 15 mins walk of the main shopping street and Aker Brygge and close to stations.

The place was ok for our purposes, not great, as we were traveling with a 2 year old and it was not well equipped to handle him. Spiral staircase was hard to navigate, sparse kitchen amenities for cooking in and walls were thin with loud music on weekend nights. Probably would have all been fine if we weren’t traveling with a toddler. Also we should have read fine print that check in was in a different building.

The place was great but we booked for 3 people and there were no sheets for the pull out couch so I contacted them and asked for them and they brought us a cot instead. I would have preferred to have sheets for the couch ready when we got there as booked. Also the description made it sound like the breakfast was included not that you can order it if you would like it. I think the wording should be adjusted to be clearer.
Other than that the place was great.

We'd stay again in our spacious place in this apartment house. Pros: clean, lots of room, fridge/kitchen, short walk from light rail, nice neighborhood, washing machine, quiet. Small cons: no clothes dryer (but did have a rack), kitchen inventory wasn't complete (no chopping board, for example), bathroom is very roomy but the shower is tight as a phone booth, hardly any counter space in bathroom, poor lighting over bathroom sink. It's a nice, modern place sprinkled with odd irritations.

Great stay

The place we had was amazing. 3 bedrooms 2 bathrooms and a full kitchen. There is a small lobby in the main building that you can leave luggage in, though it's not secure. We checked in electronically and walked to our place. Breakfast was delivered to us in little paper sacks ouside our door and was so plentiful that it ended up being our breakfast and lunch. We were within walking distance to the palace, but a little ways away from the sites. There were 2 grocers right down the street and plentiful cafes and resturants. We had difficulty with the washer and when we enquired, the staff member came right over to help. She was unable to help us but phoned a janitor and offered us a solution of using the washer and dryer in the main building. A janitor arrived about an hour later and had to turn the water on. We we're impressed with how kind and accommodating they were. We had a wonderful stay, the area was so quiet and peaceful and we enjoyed hearing the birds.

I stayed here in the Oscargate 86 property. Check-in was automated. I appreciate that this saved costs, but I didn't'y know where I was going and had a heavy suitcase. It wasn't immediately obvious where the property was and I was a bit grumpy having to wheel my bag around - uphill - looking for it. But when I found it, the property was superb! It is east to get to - on the number 12 tram from the central station - and the neighbourhood is very nice indeed. I'd stay there again - especially as I know where it is now!

Great base for Oslo stays

Great deal

Location was near some bars so there was one night with a lot of yelling outside. A bit of a long walk from the closest subway. Very near tram and bus stops though. Had trouble with the clothes washer, a brief instruction sheet would have been useful. When I reached out for help to the company they were very responsive and came over right away to help. Overall it is a great deal and I would stay again if back in Oslo.

Frognerhouse Is a GOOD choice of stay

Frognerhouse Oscarsgate is a great place to stay. It’s very cosy with Scandic touches. It has all the facilities in the apartment and within the vicinity. The apartment is clean and enough space for my family of five. The train/ metro station Nationaltheatret is within walking distant.
The downside though was there was no human interaction throughout our stay. Though we checked in at their main property Skovvien, there was no staff there too. It was done through machine. It would have been nice to be welcomed by someone especially after guest long flights and visiting the city for the first time.

Sentralt og flott beliggenhet

Frogner House Apartments kan virkelig anbefales! Enkel sjekk inn på Skovveien og det ligger veldig sentralt til med gode restauranter og butikker! Leiligheten var kjempe flott! Rent og hyggelig innredet. Det eneste som kan bemerkes er at gården kunne vært hyggeligere planlagt og rengjort med oppgraderte benker og benker. Til tross for dette, kan jeg virkelig anbefale Frogner House, og jeg kommer gjerne igjen.

The apartment was great. It has been very clean, big windows for a lot of daylight, nice furniture and space for our toddler to run too. Huge advantage is the elevator, esp when traveling with a toddler and more luggage. And there would have been some parking lots to book but you also find some parking in walking distance when traveling by car.

Vi hadde et kjempefint opphold i Oslo. Leiligheten er godt egnet for en familie med 3 barn. Kjøkkenet fungerer bra til frokost og kveldsmat. Dersom man kommer med bil kan det anbefales å parkere i parkeringshus i nærheten da gateparkering er vanskelig å finne

Familie og bryllup.

Det var en fin plass for opphold til et bryllup, men litt frem og tilbake ang parkering og med en del bagasje var det litt jobb. Leiligheten var helt topp, flott og stort med mye rom plass og det som skulle til for å kunne bo der litt. Et vindu i tak på et av soverommene var ikke å få åpnet (leilighet 1142?) pga stang var ikke til å få festet. Ellers et bra opphold😊. Fin nærhet til butikk mm.

Jeg fikk rom på bakkeplan og ba om å få bytte og det var helt uproblematisk. De sa det var fullt der og da sa jeg sa hvor som helst bare opp i høyden. Jeg ble flyttet fra Oscars gate til en annen bygård i Odinsgate. Helt tipp topp 1 min unna midt på bygdøy alle, trikk til sentrum 1 min unna. Stille rolig strøk, rent og pent, gode senger, god dusj og eget sovrom :-)

Fin leilighet - med mye bråk og lite søvn!

Oppholdet på Oscarsgate var både veldig bra, og svært slitsomt. Leiligheten i sin helhet var utrolig fin, og veldig brukervennlig - med et fint bad, fint kjøkken med alt av utstyr (minus en oppvaskmaskin som ikke funket) og et fint soverom (deilige senger). Barna sov på sovesofa i stuen.
Beliggenheten ifht Frogner og sentrum var utmerket - kort vei til restauranter, Soliplass og 10 min til Nationaltheatret/Akerbrygge m.m.
Minusene ved å leie her var, i vårt tilfelle, at det var veldig mange unge mennesker som festet til langt på natt og var svært høylytte. Noe som ødela nattesøvnen til undertegnede som skulle spille NM i golf tidlig dagen derpå, og resten av familiemedlemmene. På sommeren er det også varmt - og uten AC i leilighetene blir det nesten umulig å lukke igjen vinduene uten å få heteslag.
Parkeringsmulighetene er også dyre - men dette er ikke utleier sin feil, men heller Oslo kommune. Anbefaler alle å komme med tog og bruke offentlig transport hvis mulig.

Brannalarmen ble utløst 4 ganger første kveld, samt kl 07.00 andre dag. Dette meførte også at heisen ikke virket. Med små barn og mye bagasje, ble dette veldig vanskelig med rom i 4. etasje

Feil rom? 2 voksne og 2 barn hadde bestilt en toromsleilighet i en uke. Vi fikk tildelt en leilighet som lå i første etasje, hvor man kunne gå rett inn gjennom vinduet fra fortauet til soverommet. Det var ingen lås på vinduene. Vi fikk byttet til en leilighet som lå i en høyere etasje dagen etter og det fungerte fint. Forstår ikke at leiligheten i første etasje er godkjent for utleie.
