The room was super comfortable and the breakfast was great. We also enjoyed the pool which was clean and refreshing. Marie and Jada at the front desk were incredibly kind and helpful. Even the cleaning staff was great. The location is also good to avoid the crazy traffic at the beach while still being close enough to get there easily. Very happy we chose to stay here.

Property was very clean and updated. Very close to the airport and convenient to get to. Was not on a populated area so limited restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast was nice and coffee was great! Very good experience.

Property is very well maintained. Rooms are clean and staff is very friendly and helpful. Parking is available and free. Breakfast was good and served on time.
The only suggestion I need to make is to clean the carpet properly because it feels wet and it will stain the sole of your feet.
The bathrooms were clean and the room overall too.

Overall a good stay at a newer property. There were a few minor issues, such as low water pressure in the shower and sink, and room service being available only on request. Otherwise, everything was generally as expected and the hotel was comfortable and very well kept.

Everthing was good but there were two donsides for me.
The mattresses and pillows are too soft. And I thought the tap water had a strange smell.

Clean room, breakfast was full of variety, and staff was great. We stayed for a soccer tournament at Twin Oaks which was right up the road. Holiday Inn rarely disappoints and this particular hotel was no exception. Definitely recommend.

My ONLY issue was the bathtub filled up halfway while showering and they were not able to send someone in right away to fix it. Had to deal with that for the 2/3 stay. Other than that, we honestly couldn't have asked for a better stay and will definitely stay again if we are in the area!

The breakfast was AWESOME!!! There was a great selection of foods to eat for breakfast, drinks and fruit!! Kathy who was one of the staff members for the breakfast area was extremely nice and accommodating. There was an incident, where my younger granddaughter accidentally dropped her bowl.of cereal and Kathy, cleaned it up right away WITHOUT making it an issue or having an expression of disgust. Kathy was is a true professional and very hard worker. Holiday Inn Express should be happy to have her and should definitely give her some sort of employee appreciation reward and or pay raise. The entire staff was accommodating. Rooms were always cleaned and fresh towels were put out as needed. Parking was great plenty of areas to park and I felt safe. I was traveling by myself with 4 grandchildren. Parking lot was well lit and cameras everywhere. The hotel's overall appearance was very nice, clean and was not dated. Everything looked new and very well maintained. The landscaping was also very pretty. I would suggest that the maps/location gets reevaluated. To the property. I had to call the hotel to get assistance on navigating me to the hotel. The GPS,was not accurate.

Check-in we quick easy and simple. Room was nice and spacious 5 people stayed (2 adults 3 kids) Breakfast every morning from 6AM-10AM. Food was fresh and refilled as need. Had a variety of different choices daily. The main dish was never the same. Satff was nice friendly and helpful. Was an ok distance from Destin Beach30-45 min drive depending on the time pf the day. Contrustion is going on. The area around the hotel is quiet. There is plenty shopping areas within a few mile. We were very pleased with our stay will definitely stay again.

Breakfast was great, typical choices but well stocked. Clean building and clean rooms, we enjoyed our stay. I will say- the inside has a plaque that says “property is 100% non smoking”, for sure the inside was smoke free but if you are sensitive to smoke smells there was often a smoke smell out front by other guest. Cigarette butts were sprinkled all over the exterior (front and side). A second smoking location was next to the outdoor pool, not ideal when your kids want to swim. Overall not management’s fault but sharing for awareness if anyone else is sensitive to smoke smell.

We booked 4 months ahead of time for a 2 Queen/Sofa bed. We were told that Hotels.com over books rooms and that there was not a room with the wanted criteria available. In the end we were able to work out a solution, however it gives you a sinking feeling when you are told that what you need for your family of 4 isn’t available.

It was a good stay. Loved the coffee and cleanliness. Wish I could've used the fitness room, but everything we did in the day was exhausting afterwards. The toiletries offered was best, Dove is a good product. The beds and pillows were most comfortable. I slept well.

Loud noise

There was a loud noise that would go off when someone in the rooms above us would turn the water on. This happened several times while we were there. Even after we went to bed , had to be up early to catch a plane home

When we checked in the front desk gals acted like we were bothering them. They were busy filing reservations when I called for pool towels and again they acted bothered. The room was pretty clean except for the shower floor looked like it needed a good scrub. The bed was awful. I woke up with a sore back from the dip in the mattress and the sheets were bally. We didn’t eat breakfast at the hotel because it’s the same thing they’ve had for years. We did grab a banana one morning and it was green. Parking was fine. We wouldn’t stay there again.

Fire

On the last night our air conditioner smelled like it was catching on fire. We called someone to the room...they said they were getting a Manager;and no one came. We didn't even get offered a different room. I was awake most of the night in fear our room would catch on fire.

The check-in process was terrible. The young lady was new and had to phone a supervisor for every little thing. After an hour, I ended up canceling the reservation and opted to pay $100 more at another location. I went to Tru in Santa Rosa and it was amazing.
