Overall, I was very happy about the hotel, the friendliness of the staff and the comfort of the room. Once small remark: the glass tablet in the bathroom of room 512 should be fixed better to the wall as it was a bit crooked and my razor and brush kept sliding off and fall into the sink.

Not a 4 star hotel, but great location. Rooms are nice, clean, but missing more furniture. I had bad experience what about breakfast, they start at 8!!! I know I should check, my fault. But I came at 7:40, asking if I can just grab something and run for meeting... absolutly not! Lady at reception said no, nothing is ready. 20 min before opening?! My colleague beg for cup of tea, got itlater with ungry face of staff. Overall, hotel is good for short stay.

We had a great time at Maxime. Our room was very spacious, we stayed at superior room for 3 days, it was safe and quiet despite windows looking at the busy square.
The main shopping, restaurants and attractions were all within walking distance. We loved our stay and would come back if in Lisbon again

This is a historic and unique hotel right smack in the middle of the city. Everything is within walking distance and free street parking is available from 7pm to 9am overnight. The staff is friendly and super helpful in providing guidance and recommendations.

The drinks at the bar are worth the pricetag. Amerguinha sour for a night cap does the job and it's the best drink I've had in a while.
The breakfast buffet is quite good and powers you up for the rest of the day . Bed is quite confortable. And impeccable service from the staff. Little minus doors from the staircase clanks quite hard. And our AC had a little rattle noise but nothing too bad . Overall great experience and ez to comute everywhere from there

Cabaret themed hotel in excellent location just off Avenida da Liberdade and a 3 minute walk to the Metro.
Facilities wise, no gym, no spa and no room service.
Deluxe double room recently refurbished to a high standard, nice deccor and very clean.
However, lack of basic furniture. No desk, no chair and no wardrobe ( the clothes rails suspended from the ceiling are an eyesore). And worst of all, no fridge!
The small safe was in a very awkward location. In a corner behind the curtains and just 8 inches above the floor. For anyone with a bad back (like myself) its almost inaccessible.
The hot food selection at breakfast was only lukewarm and went cold within a few minutes. Nothing worse than a cold fried egg!
Due to the general lack of facilities I would not rate hotel Maxime any higher than 7/10.

Uncomfortable and Cramped

The rooms are tiny, with only a narrow shelf for belongings and no closet. The hanging bar for clothes is poorly designed and if you hang clothes they reach to the floor which is the only spot to open your luggage so this makes it feel even more cramped. No microwave, no mini-frig, no charging outlets. We will not be staying here again.

Long weekend in Lisbon

Loved our stay at Maxime Hotel, it was for 4 nights, staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was very good with a Metro starion just 2 minute walk, but can walk to city centre within 10-15 mins depending where you want to go.
Would definitely stay again and would recommend anyone visiting Lisbon.

We had a pleasant stay at Maxime Hotel. The staff were generally very helpful and friendly, always greeting us with a smile, which made us feel welcome. The continental breakfast selection was sufficient, offering a nice start to each day. The location is fantastic, with easy access to the metro and public transport, making it convenient to explore the city. However, there are a few areas for improvement. It would be great to have amenities like bathtub, gym room, or at least yoga mats available. Additionally, soundproofing could use some attention, as we could easily hear conversations from neighboring rooms and the noise from street bin collection late at night. Overall, a good place to stay with potential for enhancements.

This hotel is in a great location! We really enjoyed staying here and found the staff helpful and friendly. Quick walk to many attractions and close to the airport. Room was kind of small — only had room for a bed, and also the images of women on the bathroom walls frightened me a few times while I showered but that's probs a me problem. They provided a complimentary water bottle which was wonderful. Breakfast was delicious, too.

Highly recommend!!

This was an incredible hotel due to the fact that everyone working there went above and beyond.. From the front desk to everyone working in the one of a kind cabaret bar (great bartender and servers) to the cleaning staff they were beyond welcoming! The location was excellent as it was not in the middle of the tourist traffic. I also highly recommend eating in the restaurant. The breakfast was everything you could ask for and the dinners were as good as any top restaurant. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Our first interaction with Lisbon was something spectacular. The Maxime Hotel is a big piece of what made this trip great. They were not only completely prepared to handle our large group, but they provided places to go throughout the city that were catered to our preferences. The staff was exceptional! We were greeted and supported above and beyond daily. I would highly recommend this location to anyone wanting to experience Lisbon in a centralized and safe space. I cant wait until I get to go back and visit this location again.

Staff are exceptional on reception and great information when we checked in.
Housekeeping staff were lovely too.
Room was very good and very comfortable.
Only downside was on a very hot day we wanted a drink from the bar but it was in the afternoon and bar wasn’t open. Only wanted two cans of Coca Cola to take to room but couldn’t be served.

When I booked the boutique hotel I thought it was a cute hotel and it lived up to every ounce of the hype. The staff at the front desk was amazing from start to finish and very accommodating.
