Staff support was lacking as follows: admittedly I arrived early, but it didn't take a rocket scientist to know that the occupancy level the night before was QUITE LOW ... so the front desk could and should have offered to come back between 12noon and 1pm and probably check in @ that time.\" Ur facility is NO WHERE NEAR worth a $25 early check-in fee. Secondly, EXPEDIA lists Ur property as they are instructed by property management ... where was the in-house restaurant, especially for getting breakfast this morning - very bad and misleading ...! I won't be coming back ...

Room wqs not worth the price gsve off crack head energy and the finest of crqck house amenities which include water leaking out of the floor very hard toilet paper a smell that you couldn't put your finger on and a haunted mansion my state was terrible I slept well because I had no choice but when I walked in I didn't feel like I was the choice was well to sleep I really wish I was giving my money back that was not worth $130 especially with the maintenance problems

The place is NOTHING like the pictures. The place smelled like mold and old wet rags. The towels smelled nasty, like they dont use detergent to wash them, a few had stains on them. 2 pillows had yellow stains, the A/C was not working properly, either you had it full blast or off, cause it kept going on and off non stop, all night. Very disappointing.

Worst stay ever! If you’re thinking of staying here, please just keep going. The whole outside property were dark-no lights. Walked out of the elevator to a homeless lady with a pitbull barking at us. The beds weren’t clean, black and red spots all on the sheets. The tv did not work. The smell. The roaches. Something bit my mom, who knows what it was. Check in took forever. Just don’t stay there. It’s ridiculous how a business don’t care about their property.

Evening staff was nice, day shift rude. Room was dirty. Hair on the floor, food on bed, trash on the floor. Beds uncomfortable, toilet barely flushed. Not worth the stay. Elevator doesnt work properly. Only takes you to the 2nd floor instead of all the way to the top floor. So if you're handicapped in anyway, stear clear. Especially cause they won't give a bottom floor room even when they are empty

This property is not the why the pictures make it out to be the pool is not pretty blue it’s dirty and green and can’t go swimming in it the bed sheets had paint on them and stains on them.there was black stuff on the ceiling I’m not sure what it was the blow dryer did not work only 1 of the plug ins worked and when you pay 289 a night you expect more. And I tried to talk to someone but they didn’t seem to care that much like they already knew the issues but wasn’t willing to make it better or do anything about it.

Choose wisely

I chose the pay at property option the night before I received a message from my prepaid card that a payment had been declined due to insufficient funds not one transaction but two. I call to confirm what’s going on and the owner starts shouting at me that they need to authorize the card already because there is lots of events happening.I was extremely upset from other experiences all they need to hold my room is a card on file and $1 hold. I clearly upset advised her that I would be going to stay as I obviously had an event to attend she stated that my card was fine and the day of I checked in 6 hours before I got there they placed a $20 hold. Check in process after was fine. Hotel was a bit scary older for sure room smelled like old unclean carpet. It was bargain priced for a bargain stay. Pool was dirty and black like it had not been cleaned in a long time. We did not get in.

Dirty with health hazards

We were not impressed from the beginning. Very old hotel and desperately needs an update. When we walked into our 1st room, we had 2 rooms, we should have turned around and left. Black mold on two walls, and just an overall dirty feeling. The second room had a huge hole patch, but wasn't nearly as dirty. I wouldn't recommend this hotel or stay here again.

Dirty, not well kept. AC unit only worked sporadically and had rotting food or mold (legitimately couldnt tell) inside the vent. Deadbolt was stuck and didn't automatically open when door handle opened. Latch bolt was unscrewed from wall and totally inoperable. Toilet had mildew ring growing in it. Absolutely not worth the low price.

It cost me $200 a night to stay in this 2 star dump. It was a weekend that had a lot of events so they price gauged for a room that should have been $65 at best. It was outdated and falling apart. The smell of the room was awful, I went and bought plug ins. I felt very taken advantage of with the price but it was literally the only room left in a 20 mile radius.

This isnt the hotel!

This hotel looks like the crack hotel on breaking bad. Seedy individuals staring down from the balconies of the outside facing doors coming off of a meth binge. The sign out front read, \"HELP WANTED\", my daughter told me the people staying there probably posted that as a cry for help. After seeing the pictures and driving through the parking lot and seeing the greenish black pool water and the guy doing jujitsu with a broken mop handle and then slipping through the prison style bars on the gate at the back, we decided the place was not safe enough to stay. They can keep the $170 that I spent. My children are worth more than staying at a crack motel. None, not one single picture portrays the actual knights inn. Even the picture shows a different hotel and name. I'd sleep in a tent on skid row before staying here. 0 out of 1,000,000 stars. Nah.

The room was clean, but there was a lot of peeling paint and wall boards coming undone. The staff on duty did their best, but there was a hassle about checking in. I came in and was told my room was on the third floor and the elevator was broken. There were many unoccupied rooms, so I requested one on the ground floor. The staff on duty called a manager who said no to giving me a ground floor room. I had to request my money back before the manager allowed me to have a different room.
I find this unsatisfactory.

This was the nastiest place I've ever stayed in. My teenage boys and I booked a 2-night stay for the Texas v Texas A&M football game. When we entered our FIRST room, we found stains on bedding and the bed of the pullout sofa was littered with bugs and, what appeared to be, rodent feces. Our SECOND room had blood stains on bedding, the floor and bathroom was filthy and the TV was inoperable. Our THIRD room was a 'little' cleaner, but still had a few noticeable stains on bedding and the bathroom was not clean.

The condition of the property was very dirty and used and it was suggested there were bedbugs. The door could not opened easily nor locked easily. The pool was firty and unusable. There was no breakfast and tepid coffee was all that was provided. The worst part, however, was the screaming, hollering and crying that was going on next door to our room. This never abated and despite telling the facility, it never stopped. I really thought somebody was being accosted next door. The phone did not work, so we had to alert the property by walking to the front of the building. There was no wifi either…sll in all just not very good.

Only as a last resort!!!

The hotel was in a horribly disintegrating state of disrepair. Every surface had peeling paint. The room had multiple holes, the bathroom doorknob was loose, the toilet made a singing noise when you flushed it. The room had a musty smell, the ceiling looked like it was leaking. On the positive side it had new floors, and new tile in shower. We didn’t even feel confident enough to shower. We left as quickly as possible!!!!

Once I arrived to my room, the inside of the fridge was yellow and dirty, sheets on both beds were stained, pillows were previously soiled and towels had stains.

I wasn’t compensated for anything and the owner did not apologize for the state of the linen and towels.

Knights inn is conveniently close to Texas A&M but the room felt dirty. The floor was grimmy, and the towels didn’t feel clean. The refrigerator was old and full of rust. The TV was mounted on the wall and fell in the middle of the night. There was broken glass on the stairs that no one cleaned up. The vending machines was busted up and the pool was unusable. The water was green and moldy with vines growing in to the pool.

The staff was nice and professional, but the room was unclean with used feminine products on the floor. There was no Cold water until the following morning which I thought was very odd. Also, there was no complimentary coffee...who doesn't need coffee first thing in the morning?
Anyway, I will not be booking another room at this Inn when I return in August.
Sorry Knights Inn, but you need to get with the cleaning!

OK in an Emergency

My wife, our two Dachshunds, and I lost electrical power from Hurricane Beryl. This included no power for our cell phones and--worse--no air-conditioning during hot & humid July days in Texas. My wife and I are retirees living on fixed retirement income & we're unable to cope well with such an outage. After 48 hours in our uncomfortable home, our collective misery drove us from Huntsville, Texas to the nearest city offering a/c rooms: Bryan, Texas, 60 miles west. The premises of this Knights Inn were ill-kept, but our room was affordable, clean and semi-comfortable. With our phones powered-up, we monitored friends on our rural road near Huntsville periodically to learn when power was restored to our homes. When we learned that our electricity provider could predict no end of the power outage in Huntsville, we begrudgingly booked a second night's stay at the motel, took a nap, and then learned at 6 pm that our road had power restored. Despite paying for a second night at the motel, we packed our dogs and belongings in our vehicle, returned our room key, and drove home to blessed A/C by nightfall. Except for the \"comfortable\" and genuinely affordable shelter this motel provided during a disaster, we wouldn't recommend this Knight's Inn to anyone.

I did NOT stay there. My daughter had a seizure and would have had to stay in the hotel the entire time. We arrived and the “hotel” was NOT as pictured. It was dilapidated to put it nicely. The pool was full of algae. There were people loitering all around the hotel. It did not appear safe at all. The doors of the rooms did not look as if they sealed nor locked properly. Quite literally Saw a drug happening between two men. Thats what sealed my not staying there. We waiting at the front for 30 minutes with no staff there. Then we tried called afterwards to cancel and could not get an answer. Nor leave a message because the voicemail was full. Expedia couldn’t even get a hold of them. Then take my money for a stay!

My door had a TON of daylight shinning around the frame. There was a HUGE SPIDER on my personal pillow when I came back from concert.
There was a NEEDLE sticking out of the wall (RM 320), and the back wall hid thumb tacks in it? I walked from shower to bed and my feet were black!
They advertise :

CABLE: NOPE
Pool: GREEN…It’s like I wish they didn't have a pool. I watched MOSQUITOES have a complete orgy.
TV: 19” monitor bolted to wall
I slept on top of covers, on top of all of my clothes, fearing I would contract bed bugs.

The \"pool\" was green and full of frogs. It appeared that there were drug deals occurring on the stairs. The manager was walking around in booty shorts. The lady at the front desk had to go unlock individual rooms because the key maker was broken. They couldn't find my reservation through Expedia, and the manager suggested I just pay the rate again, and figure it out with Expedia later.

Second stay, not as charming as the first

When we entered the room, the beds were made, but we discovered evidence that housekeeping had not done a great job of cleaning - there was toothpaste in the sink and a nasty stain or spot on one of the comforters. We asked for and received new sheets without any issues. The only other major issue was that the address link in the e-mail that Hotels.com provided took us to a Red Roof Inn rather than to the Knights Inn.
