Recently I stayed at the Ambassador Hotel and overall had a comfortable experience. The location was convenient, and the front desk staff were polite and helpful along with the staff in the Lime Ricky Bar, particularly Scott and Dominique.
However, I was disappointed with the maid service. Housekeeping was inconsistent, and the room was not cleaned to the standard I expected for the hotel. Basic tasks such as emptying the trash cans, removing used food containers and used glasses to properly tidying the room was overlooked every day but one. This unfortunately took away from an otherwise pleasant stay.
With better attention to housekeeping, this hotel could have provide a much stronger overall experience.

The staff was helpful and friendly. The front desk, Roberto, hooked me up with a fantastic room. When we needed the shuttle, the coordinator was very informative. The shuttle was clean, our driver Dean was awesome, and it was so nice to use to get to the Fiserv. Room service (Corey/Cody? sorry!) was perfect and rounded out a perfect couples get away for a concert. LOVE THIS PLACE EVERY TIME!!

This hotel was not only a great value, but a great find. I had never stayed here before. They provided a free shuttle up until midnight, which is great if you need a ride to and from work, and maybe even a couple of hours out. The staff there provides a great atmosphere, their service is awesome, and the cleanliness of the rooms is top-notch. If you are looking for a place to stay to relax, be a tourist, or go to a concert (2 minutes from the Rave), consider this place.

The decor is beautiful, the room was bigger than I imagined it would be, and the staff was very helpful. I unfortunately had a run in with another guest in the bar while watching football. The staff eventually called the police to handle this individual and staff was extremely helpful and apologetic to me, making sure my experience was still satisfying. Rest assured, we already have plans to visit again.

The hotel needs work. I felt misled by the website. The rooms have zero amenities-- rust in soap, no decor, stains on furniture and no tv access unless you have an i phone to connect your apps. The website claimed the rooms were soundproof and they were anything but.

The only other thing was the water was not what I would consider hot in the shower, although warm enough just not a hot shower. The staff was friendly and warm, and we enjoyed our time in the hotel bar both before and after the event we were attending.

While the drinks service was a bit slow, the attention given and service in the restaurant by Corey was excellent. The only thing I would say is that the lighting in the restaurant was too bright, could definitely take it down several lumens and provide a little bit more of an intimate setting at dinner. The lighting was more of what I would expect in a lunch room cafeteria type setting, especially with the old school marble flooring. Dinner should take the ambiance down a couple notches and give a little more of a feeling of sophistication.

We placed the correct sign on the door handle and when we hadn’t received them later that afternoon I went down to the registration desk and asked for towels. Not a very nice neighborhood, dirty floors in bathroom, no robes as advertised. However, the people were very nice and the bed was comfortable. We wanted to order breakfast in advance and nobody could find us the door hanger to place the order, so we left without breakfast. Overall, I think the room was too expensive for the things it was lacking. A pizza from room service was $28 with all the fees, and was cold. It cost $20 to park for less than 24 hours. The photos of the rooms were deceiving. It looked a lot nicer in the pictures.
