It was an ok stay. Don't get me wrong, the room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was fine and clean with a good shower. It's just that the whole place feels very impersonal and bland. We stayed in this hotel before it was taken over by Numa and it was a very different, much nicer and welcome experience.
It's perfectly fine, but I would not stay again. I just miss the human interaction and feel. No app and pin can ever repalace a welcome lobby with a person.

This should not be listed as a hotel Zero on site staff. Zero services. You need a code for the entrance, elevators and your room. On arrival I had to stand outside in the pouring rain for 90 minutes after a flight on 11 hours from the USA as I had no codes sent via email. They actually sent them while I was in the air without internet access. I had previously chevkd in on line some days before, but they chose to ignore my location. Just a thought, with zero staff on site. What happened in the case of a fire…. I guess the guests fend for them selves

The NUMA is a disgrace. Unless you want a space with zero staff and services, then the NUMA is for you

The door kept locking us out - not nice in a storm! Neither the code, not their app - worked. No humans with Numa.

Their bot is an annoying nightmare. Once through to an actual person, the best they could do was more codes - that I was asked to check (like a member of staff!).

What did we get for this? A sorry for \"inconvenience\" and a \"these things happen\".

Never have I been locked out of a hotel I was staying in, ever.

This was a very convenient location in the middle of Brighton and we found a good parking place close to it. The room was modern and a good size with a lovely en-suite and quite comfortable apart from odd pillows that were difficult to sleep on. The air conditioning (once discovered after the first very hot night) was noisy and the bathroom extractor was on all the time so sleeping was difficult. The hotel itself was very quiet. Only being able to get information by the app was hard and although there was a quick response when we couldn’t get the tv to respond some actual written information and instructions would have avoided the stress after a long journey. Knowing for example that there were no USB ports for charging phones would have avoided having to go round the shops looking for a plug the next day. The housekeeper was very helpful when we were struggling with the air conditioning and turned up promptly the next morning. All in all a good hotel.

Although well-insulated from outside noise, any noise in the hallway echoed all the way down into the room, including people talking until 3am. Made it impossible to sleep. Also can hear everything that happens in the bathroom, and the shower made very loud and unusual buzzing noises on the other side of the wall.

Being forced to use Chrome or a proprietary app to check in was very irritating and it felt like an invasion of privacy to have to provide photographic proof of identity for both me and my guest.

Could not fault the hotel, access, cleanliness, room was lovely, great shower room and really comfy bed. Lovely having a fridge in the room! Free water tea and coffee. Perfect one night stay and would defo return.
Our biggest issue was the process of payment trying to contact via message or mail didn’t work so we had to leave lunch to make a call and make the payment which I presumed would be taken on the day of arrival as usual.

No reception means problems hard to resolve

Hotel is fine so long as you can get in. There is no reception. We should have received a PIN on the day of arrival but it never arrived. This lead to a frustrating loop with a bot, followed by being disconnected from an agent several times. A call to the emergency number took 15 minutes to connect (so don’t have an emergency here) when we discovered they had forgotten to take payment (although the app mentioned none of this). We were not the only ones, a young family were in the exact same situation. Price is good, location is perfect for the Laines. Rooms poorly appointed compared to other aparthotels. Coffee machine didn’t work and of course there was no-one to ask about it. Interesting concept for a hotel but very poorly executed.

Spacious room, clean, comfortable bed and pillows, nice shower and bathroom. Only negative would be the room was very warm, even with the AC on, could benefit from either being able to set room temperature below 19 degrees on the AC controls or providing a fan in the room. Regardless of this would definitely book again, great value for money!

Sadly the room looked nothing like the pictures. A white bed in a white room with a tiny window that faced a white wall. Desk (white!) was marked and tatty. Awful room, at best looked like student hostel at worst like a hospital room, clinical & cold. Walls very very thin, heard people next door and in room above. Too expensive to justify. We left straight away.

It is in the centre of town, and has an underground car park, which is very useful as parking is do difficult in Brighton.

Furniture is cracked, scratched, stained and broken. I rented 2 rooms and both were in similar condition.

Great local position with easy access to the city. Cant fault that. Parking under the hotel was great. Superior Room was much bigger than the standard. We faced the Main Street, which was much noisier than expected - revellers leaving up until 3am, so trying to get to sleep was a struggle. Surely a city centre hotel would have had noise cancelling windows installed, but they dont! It ruined it, but no fault of the hotel, but the designers / owners. Great location and easy access to the city. Would we stay again, at the right price, but would request for a room higher up (1st floor we were) or one facing away from the main road.

It's okay for a good night sleep and that was my priority for this stay. However, it's not a hotel for a long nice stay. When I walked into my room, my first thought was it's the same as ibis hotel. I stayed in Premium Double.
Bathroom doesn't have a door and dur to that the room smelt of chlorine and you cannot open windows to get fresh air in. The big lights from library roof shine directly into your room all night and blinds have massive gaps, which allows the light to come into the room. During night one of the fans in toilet was making weird noises every 30min. The bed is ok, but a bit on a soft side and pillows not great.

Overall, don't think I will come back.

Frustrating “Password” needed for lifts and rooms

This was the first time I have come across a hotel that gives you a “password” to open your room or even get into a lift.

Not only is this more time consuming than a proximity card, or even an actual key, but the keypads on which you enter the code are at a low level and most of the corridors are dimly lit. Don’t be surprised if you find yourself down on your knees, using the light from your phone to see what the heck you are doing.

This hotel has obviously previously used the prox card system as the old infrastructure is still present in the rooms, I can not see what possible benefit the new system brings.

Mid week stay for an event at the dome. Couldn’t have been in a better location!
Loved the “big brother” style of the hotel.
Bed didn’t look comfortable but I slept well & the shower was nice & powerful.
Had some issue with car park gate, but reception could not have been more helpful, price of car park very steep, my boyfriend parked in RCP round the corner which was slightly cheaper for 24hrs.
Overall really nice & would stay again!

This hotel was chosen for its Latin and parking facilities. The hotel itself is weird; no door on the bathroom, a hole to peep through from the bastion into the bedroom, strange bed frame and weird carpet patern throughout. The entry section flooring in the room was not clean and the carpet in the room and corridors was not clean. The blinds did not block out light from surrounding shops and buildings so lots of light came in on the middle of the night. I think if look elsewhere next time.

Some of the surfaces in the room could do with and overhaul as theyre all worn. The window couldnt open at all which is something i personally like in a room.

We were disappointed with this hotel. While it is centrally located, it’s noisy with the deliveries to the supermarket across the road, which occur at all hours. The carpet in our room was dirty and one of the windows was cracked. The shower was functional but weird plus there is no room for toiletries. The decor in the room and hotel is dated. The staff were helpful but that doesn’t compensate for the facilities.

Only downside is the parking, we arrived at 6pm but had to leave at Midday. We would have liked to stay until 1pm to be able to have an early lunch before we had the journey home.

Great location and friendly staff. No parking available this time ( my third or fourth time of staying here) as someone had booked the whole car park - that was a shame as I chose this hotel because it has parking facilities.
One star off for cleanliness - not dirty as such, but sink very stained - it has looks very worn out as opposed to being actually dirty.

Location was great, rooms are very basic for what you pay, we were only left half a toilet paper, but the room was clean enough. You are unable to open the window in the room, there is air con but was still stuffy and hot through the night. Parking is an extra £33 a night, we were told we had to leave by 12, we asked if we could kindly leave the car an extra half an hour as wanted to wonder around but we were told no (the car park was empty) and after paying £33 to park for less than 24 hours we thought it would be feasible.

I stay in room 299 on 30th August and I was not disappointed! The design was great, very retro and minimalist. It was refreshing not staying in a corporate setting. The shower was really good very powerful and plenty of hot water. The lighting is also perfect for pictures and selfies. There are four mirrors in the room which is also a bonus for doing hair and makeup. I was even able to connect my Netflix to the TV which I loved as many places don’t have that facility. It’s right in the middle of the lanes, beach and restaurants so the location is perfect. I read the reviews before my stay so brought ear plugs as there is a bar opposite and had a great night sleep, the bed and pillows were also extremely comfortable. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. I’m definitely going back!

The best located hotel in Brighton in our opinion. The North Laines were one street away on one side and The Lanes were a few minutes to the other. Royal Pavilion just around the corner. Amazing food eateries one street over (try Kooks for breakfast!) The decor was whacky but perfect for a comfortable night sleep and the staff were brilliant. Parking downstairs was just the cherry on top for a reasonable extra charge when looking at other Brighton car parks. We could not believe our luck that we’d managed to accommodate ourselves somewhere so perfectly located. Thank you MyBrighton, we’ll be back!

Stayed at My hotel many times now, so I always go back, the staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are a good size, it also has chrome cast on the television so you can stream most things from your phone which I love in the evenings, and the WiFi is easy to connect to, the bed I find very comfortable, it's always very clean, all the shops and restaurants are right on your doorstep, but still quiet at night, I have never had any issues, I cannot fault it

The bed was uncomfortable, the pillows were hard, the decor needing redoing in the room we was in, the windows are 2 ways which wasnt great as it faced an office building so we had to have the blind down during our hole stay.there was no dinner options, parking was very expensive and the car park is very small it was very hard to get the car back out, i personally would not stay here again

Room felt very claustrophobic having no ventilation. No glasses in room for drinks. Light switches were very confusing having the bathroom switch by the entrance door to the room. Fire alarm system kept going off all hours of the night because someone smoking in their room, this should be isolated to the room and not have an impact to the whole hotel. And if there was a fire close to the room we was in there was no way of getting out, very poor.

MyHotel Brighton is superbly located close to the pavilion and North Laine, where the most interesting shops are located. It has an underground car park – book a space if you can, as it's so easy to use and convenient. Just make sure to double-check that your space is reserved, as the front desk was confused about whether my space was still set aside for me, with resultant stress on my part. The rooms are beginning to look a little tired but mine was clean and comfortable and very spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful too. A really good stay. Btw \"Meanwhile\" is a great breakfast and lunch spot.

Overpriced and unclean

The room was not worth the price. While the bedding and surfaces were clean, the room had obviously not been deep cleaned in a long time, the carpet was covered in stains and metal objects were not polished. The tiled floor in the bathroom and shower had not been proper cleaned as the grouting was different colours throughout, and there was a big water stain in the shower which just looked like it had never been cleaned! The bath, which was the main reason I paid for this room, had a damaged, limescale covered tap which was extremely slow at running water, and a cheep plastic plug which didn’t stay in place. Considering the price of the room I was expecting a bath that would at least hold water and had a proper plug! There were no plug sockets near the bed, and no light switch/lamp near the bed either. The room looks out onto an outside area- nowhere is it mentioned that this area is home to multiple seagulls who have nested there and who are extremely noisy. This area is also covered in the bones and remnants of their meals, which is pretty gross- especially when you look out and there’s just a half eaten pigeon next to your window. The blinds by the bath didn’t cover the entire window. Overall I was disappointed in this hotel!
