I had booked the hotel for our golden anniversary and when we went in for our meal, delighted to be welcomed with “Happy Anniversary, some roses on the table and a glass each of Prosecco.

Staff: amazing! Big thank you to Jemima at booking department/ front desk is really the top! A special thank you to a lady that is French (unfortunately I forgot her name) she really made our stay easy and smooth . Breakfast team big thank you to the lady who was greeting on the Monday 16/2. The next day the lady was not as helpful. Bar team, all the team deserves a big applause. It’s a hotel that is super family friendly. Maybe receiving more explanation before the stay would be helpful.

The bed was very comfy, and the room nice and dark, which enabled a good nights sleep. The shower cubicle in the bathroom was far too small and it would’ve probably benefited from losing the bath and increasing the size of the shower. Decent breakfast, but considerable queues on the Sunday morning to be seated. However, the hotel in general was a bit tired, and especially the wellness area, which really needed an upgrade. On the second day of our stay, the whole gym and wellness area was closed due to an electric problem, but this was very annoying as I had specifically called in advance to check all the facilities were available throughout our planned stay - I was told they were!! Good seafront location.

We were very happy with the room, the facilities and the breakfast, and the staff were very attentive and courteous. Two aspects of our stay that were a little disappointing were that the sofa bed was not made up for our child, despite booking the room for three (it was very promptly made up once we had asked) and learning of the power outage the following day in the hotel at check-in where we learned that the swimming pool would be closed all day, when it would have been helpful to have been informed of this beforehand in order to ‘manage expectations’. The car park is extremely tight. Extreme care needs to be taken when manoeuvring!

And very upset as I had said it was my husbands 40th birthday and I was told that either we would get room upgrade (but was happy with what room I selected so was told they can do a little some in the room for him) this didn’t happen either, if I had known this I would.
have done something my self for him in the room.
Very disappointed. Also the lady on the desk said she would call us yesterday and we still have t heard anything.

Rooms are nice but all form over function. No mirror near desk/chair. No makeup/shaving light. No bottled water. Safe on piss so wafts open. Hangers dont fit wardrobe so light remains on all the time. Outside door insecure. Tap in bathroom lose and spins. Room 106. The spa facilities were well below par. Absolutely filthy floors. No locks available for lockers when i asked they shrugged and said theyd run out. The various spa rooms were crowded, noisy and queuing. The shower would not turn down temperature and was so burning hot i had to go in sideways carefully to rinse my hair. Honestly it was a really poor and not at all relaxing experience. Finally to top it all the hotel then broke my case by lifting it by the long handle when stowing it. I saw them do it. They did not really apologise but the manager shrugged and offered wd40. Hardly a fix for a broken handle! Case will need replacing for next trip. All together this was a shock for a Hilton especially given it was not cheap. Very disappointed. Would not recommend!

The car park was a little difficult to find but with guidance from reception staff we found it. Check in process was easy and staff were friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. However there was a fridge right beside the bed that was omitting light at nighttime! Not the ideal place and odd that it had a light inside when closed. Breakfast was good, but the breakfast room was very big and loud as it was so full! The bar area was also nice, very festive as we stayed on NYE! Added to the vibes. I would stay here again when visiting Brighton.

The pool was out of service the day we arrived which the kids were very disappointed about. It was operational on the morning we were checking out which meant we weren’t able to fully enjoy the breakfast. A real shame as the room and hotel generally were clean and nice, the sea view from our room was great.

This Hilton group have scrapped fridges in the room according to the staff I spoke to. Not a big issue but water in the room is a basic.

There is tinned water available at reception at no charge. Reception staff should be offering water at time of check in. Not wait until someone has to return to the desk for it. Other than that all good.

We just booked the standard room which was quite expensive £180 but for a Hilton I expected a bigger room. Tiny room looking out onto the worst view of a flat roof and pipes. A little disappointing. In the morning we realised we had no bath towels at all. Rang house keeping but took 20 mins to get them to us and my husband was using a hand towel to fry himself . When I asked the housekeeper cleaning rooms opposite I’d she could provide me with towels she said no!!!! You are not my room and was quite annoyed I’d asked. Very rude. No what I expect from a Hilton .
The common areas are very lovely and rooms are decorated also very well.

My stay was marred by appalling room service , “pizza & side salad” was completely inedible, the hoops I had to jump through to feed this back and eventually get a refund was ridiculous and completely marred my whole stay. I spent hundreds of pounds in the bar & restaurant during my stay but the appalling room service and then after service from the F&B mgr has tainted my whole experience.
