The site photos does not match what it actually looked. Drunk people sitting in the pavement-no my idea of a holiday because i don't feel safe. My bad, i though old buildings will provide some sort of history but it didn’t. Old building provided creaking floors and a fragile elevator that can accommodate 2 people at a time 😕 Learned my lesson, not going back. It is not for me, this is a first for me.

Really friendly staff, and the hotel allows guests to use a cowork area with comfy seats and cooking facilities. Free tea and coffee with lots of little nooks to sit and relax.
Right next to the coast and the i360 so you don’t have far to go to all the sights of Brighton.
Beds were really comfortable. The road outside is busy and can get quite noisy but quiet enough at night.

Some of the fixtures and fittings were a bit worse for wear (side table missing a leg, chair for table very unstable and the bathroom taps were degrading). However, bedding was clean and plenty of tea and coffee making facilities. For the price we paid, it was good quality.

Quirky reception area decor very ecelectic style which was perfect. Reliable elevator. Fantastic location near to town and all ameneties.
I had to run the shower for 10 mins before it became hot and bathroom window should open for ventilation. Overall good experience.

Rooms are not that great, they are really budget. No fridge or closet, just beds and a small table. Bathroom was okay and well equipped. Staff was super friendly and helpful. There was no breakfast for us because we booked through this platform, even though it said it was included.

What a brilliant hotel! Clean, spacious bedroom and bathroom with towels, shampoo, conditioner etc. Excellent location, opposite the i360. We walked from the station (through the lanes and along the seafront). Tea/coffee etc.

We had the most incredible experience at this hotel! We picked it to be close to the water within our budget and it did not disappoint. When we arrived, the man at reception upgraded us to a sea view room as a surprise! The room was big and clean and the proximity to the waterfront is unmatched. It’s about a ten minute walk from the Lanes and the Pier but being a waterfront walk we didn’t mind it in the slightest. This is the only place we plan to stay in Brighton moving forward.

The staff here and other residents were lovely, friendly and helpful. I felt safe on my first solo trip as a young woman so thank you! The common areas are good for reading/laptop work and having the water tap by reception was good for staying hydrated throughout the trip. Sharing a room with others was overall a good experience and I had no trouble :) Very peaceful vibes here I would come again if i stay in Brighton another time!

What a great find - brilliant location, bargain price, clean and spacious room. But the real upsides were the helpful and friendly staff and the brilliant breakfast. \"Continental breakfast\" but English style - crumpets and muffins (the UK not the US style) with all the toppings including marmite (yum), freshly prepared toasties and more. Highly recommended.

We booked a room for 3, great location. hotel looked a bit tired but the room was clean and very comfortable, good quality bedding and towels. Only stayed for 1 night but would stay here again
The bar area was closed and did not have breakfast so cant comment, reception staff friendly. Used the parking app to reserve parking nearby which was £34 for 24hrs. Town centre was just a short walk, beach across the road with plenty going on, would be great in the summer months. Glad we stayed, many thanks

We stayed for 2 nights. The check-in process was smooth and the staff member who checked us in was kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable of Brighton.

The room is basic but good for the price. The walls were however, dirty with what could have been coffee sprayed on the walls. But the washroom was clean. There was nothing in regards to cleanliness that ruined our stay, just little things we noticed.

The second night of our two day stay we returned from dinner to find that something from the bathroom had leaked and flooded the entry way of the room and bathroom. We informed the front desk and our room was changed. I did ask them for a small travel sized toothpaste for the trouble and they still charged me for it which was disappointing.

Overall the location and staff are the best aspect of this hotel. This is a good no-frills option if you don’t care for a luxury stay, it gets the job the done.

Lovely staff, lovely room and lovely hotel! This is the 3rd time we’ve stayed and if prices remain similar, we will be back again! The only slight issue was that the shower takes ages to warm up - and I mean ages and the toilets have a VERY narrow pipe, so easily get blocked

Whole hotel is very tired and outside just looks derilict. It was clean to a reasonable standard although the housekeeping wasn’t great. We didn’t eat there either. We only needed a bed for the night so we wasn’t expecting much. My husband said the shower was great.

Spacious room with sea view. Definitely gave ‘hip hostel’ vibes. Was charged again for the room at check in despite already paying via Hotels.com however this was quickly rectified. The room is very large with one mid sized radiator, visiting in February the room was extremely cold, thankfully they’d supplied two portable radiators but it did take a long time to heat the room to a comfortable level. The room & views were 100% worth the price though and I would definitely visit again but perhaps in the summer.

The room was nice as was the sea view, sadly it was freezing cold in the room and there was no hot water in the shower and the staff were rude regarding check out, even though the time was acknowledged on arrival. Unfortunately the manager's response to our feedback was also particularly dismissive and unhelpful, we won't be returning or recommending.

As soon as you walk into the hotel there’s a really bad smell. The double room was an okay size. It had everything you need but no tv which wasn’t good. The furniture was run down. The hotel has no parking but parking isn’t an issue as there’s parking a few minutes away. The staff was good.

Didn’t have the breakfast, but the hotel itself is very convenient. We had the 3 bed room and it was perfect for our needs. Room was clean. Bathroom in good condition and it is so central you are in the centre of Brighton in less than 15 mins walk.

If I had to pick a negative, there are dormitory type rooms as well and one was opposite our room which meant people coming and going at all times of the night, but it is only a door opening and shutting, so a small negative when you look at its location and the nice room. Would happily go there again.

On arrival staff were great and really welcoming. The room was amazing with incredible views of the West Pier. In the evening the shower only had cold water. In the morning the shower was warm. However on checking out we were told the manager had suddenly decided to stop the luggage storage. I'd even had a confirmatory email that luggage storage is available. This was a big reason why we picked this hotel, and the woman on the reception was being kind of rude in how she was telling some tourists it wasn't available. So sadly this hotel is unreliable and you don't get what you are promised. Real shame.

Room and bathroom were spotless - I was here for two nights and although quite windy outside due to being right by the beach, the decor was lush and cosy! The bed was so comfy that I melted right into it. No problems with the shower either, water pressure is comfortable not too strong or weak..

I would add an extra chair for dining, especially if there are two travellers (my boyfriend was with me).

Street noise from garbage trucks everyday of our four night stay. Bed was comfortable. Everything was clean and maintained.

Cheap and cheerful, mostly did job for 1 night. Close by to everything and very near the seafront which is nice. Could’ve been cleaner, lots of limescale and crud in the shower and some hairs around the place but not awful. Staff were friendly and welcoming. My main issue was we had x2 drunk men knock on our door at 3am and then try to break in when their key card didn’t work (presumably thinking it was their room). When we spoke to them, they said they’d been sent here and tried to get inside again. Eventually they left but it was quite nerve wracking and could’ve been very dangerous for a solo traveller, of which there were many in this hotel. They did have a 24hr desk but we were unsure about leaving the room to go to it as we could still hear them shouting and stomping around outside our room/corridor for over an hour afterwards, so just gave up and went to sleep. When we told the desk in the morning, they were very apologetic but I can’t understand why the attendant who let them inside in such a state didn’t walk them directly to their room? Or even hear the commotion of them shouting as we were on the ground floor. Seemed a bit remiss of night staff and did mean myself and my partner didn’t feel too safe. I understand other people’s behaviour isn’t their fault but I wonder if it could’ve been prevented by the person at the desk, presumably why they have a 24hr desk.

Very nice beach front hotel - our room was massive with a lovely sea view, comfy bed, and nice feel to it, the only negative was the shower was slow to heat up - but was fine when it got going. Breakfast was pretty decent - the toasters were a bit slow, and the coffee wasn’t great but for the price couldn’t really complain. I would happily stay in the hotel again.

I stayed here with my 2 children and found it to be great for what we wanted. The room was clean and spacious and the beds were super comfy. The location was right opposite the west pier, about 10 min walk to the palace pier. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Didn't have the breakfast so cant comment on that. But overall it was perfect for what we needed and great value for money.

Pet friendly but other hotels near by offer the same service so dont bother. I would not stay there again for free. It is very run down than it looks on line.
On a very busy road, It was like four walls and a bed on the motor way. Staff are very casual and often absent from reception and service is poor, had to ask for complementary items as they were not refilled even in communal areas.
