Perched right next to the popular shopping centre in Brighton and within just a 15-minutes' walk from Brighton's main railway station, this splendid urban hotel is ideally situated for business and leisure travellers alike. The famous Royal Pavilion is a 5-minute walk and The Sea Life Centre is just 500 metres away.
The spacious rooms are decorated in a fresh contemporary style, fitted with cosy furniture and top-notch amenities. Nearly half of our rooms have breath-taking sea views where to watch the world go by.
Beautifully framing the stunning sea views with decadent drapes. Due to an extensive refurbishment, our bar and restaurant are closed until late June.
Our lift is currently out of order until early June. Any refurbishment work that is likely to disturb your stay will be carried out after 8am Monday - Friday and after 10am Saturday and Sunday

I stayed in a single “cosy” room which was tiny but really comfortable and exactly what I needed. Very clean room and lovely bathroom. I visited the spa which is very nice, breakfast was also lovely. It’s also in a great location right on the seafront and super close to all of the shops and not far from the station. I would stay here again

First of all the negative things we renting a room that was small the bed was in one corner and we had to climb all over each other to get out of bed the main problem with this room is outside the window is a plant room for the aircon units in the rooms and it kept us up all night, In the morning I asked if we could move to a better room even know I had to pay another £30.
The positives the rooms were very clean and tidy the swimming pool and steam room's was excellent and all staff was very helpful and polite.

The room was nice very clean and cosy however I was right next to what I think was a generator outside which was really loud and went on all night. The room was also uncomfortably hot despite attempting to turn the heating down it didn't seem to make a difference. The fridge was also not working so the milk in the fridge wasn't cold
Overall it is a lovely hotel and staff were very nice, have stayed in Harbour Hotels previously which is why I chose to stay here - but I think I just didn't have the best room unfortunately.

Hotel is very clean but housekeeping was disappointing!! We had a number off daily issues in our 3 day stay. From card key for room needed resetting everyday, television does require a password reset daily, this was really frustrating, even though the hotel gave us a complimentary drink for the money we paid per night this was not acceptable. The housekeeping was shocking, on different occasions we had no towels, no bed change for our stay, no milk or tea, they even left dirty cups and plates over 2 days. We find a 4* hotel that cost £265 per night this very frustrating. Leaving in a positive the Spa and food in the restaurant were amazing!!

easy check in and nice staff unfortunately tv wasn't working and after back and forth messages nothing was done to solve this...large crack on sink basin and cups left in the room unclean, quite loud all night from outside but to be expected sea front however a couple blinds where broken so nothing to block the noise or sun

We had thought we were only getting a room with a partial sea view, but ended up getting a room with a lovely bay window & seating area looking right across to the water.
Staff were great & very accommodating to storing our luggage before check in & after check out.

toilet leaked all night into bowl...until eventually it wouldnt flush at all....luckily we were leaving at that point. Reported to reception, no apologies of course. Do not stay in 407..its an adjoining room so u can hear literally everything from next door. Same goes for 406 i suppose. Beds comfy though.

The room was lovely and the spa was amazing. However Saturday night there was a wedding with music till midnight. Our room was directly above the music and was vibrating the whole time and we could it hear it all word for word. We spoke tor reception and they offered us complimentary breakfast, however the cost spent and the late night didn't give us the most comfortable stay. We have taken this further with the hotel.

Got there early to use the spa, wasn't allowed to use it until wrs checked in, which we weren't able to, which funnily enough was what we wanted to confirm with the pre visit phone calls.
First room:
Small and noisy, on a side street, plenty of crashing bottle bins and shouting.
The AC unit then decided to launch ice all over the place and soak the be, fortunately nothing tech was near it.
To their credit, the night turn staff member was great and gave us a new room as the bed was wet.
Room 2:
Large room with broken windows that either wouldn't open or wouldn't close, so get more road noise, this time from the busy main road.
No AC but a dehumidifier that was making the room uncomfortably hot so we had to prop the main door open to get cool air from the hall.
Very large bed but fairly uncomfortable.
So much light coming through the window slats, we covered them up with pillows.
Overall, disappointing but would try other hotels in the chain.
Spa was nothing special.
Tubs were tepid, pools were cold.
Steam room and sauna were ok.
If you book any other way than direct with them, you have to pay £10 each to sue the spa.

We had a lovely stay, very much appreciated up-grade, lovely surprise of gin in room with binoculars on table with comfy chairs. Lovely spacious room, very comfortable bed, pillows and quilt. Lots of space for clothes, iron and hair-dryer. We were only going to have breakfast the first morning, but it was so nice and we thought very good value, we had it the next day as well. Didn’t have an evening meal as didn’t see the menu at reception until the last day. We regretted not seeing it as we certainly would’ve. The hotel has very helpful friendly staff and we would definitely stay there again.

Paid extra in comparison to other hotels for the pool (not the spa) and you'd be lucky to get two people able to swim alongside each other in that pool. Facilities were very nice but our 'complimentary gin and tonic' came without a bottle opener for the bottles of tonic and ice took over an hour to arrive, in which time we had left. They were quick to apologise though and gave as 2x free drink vouchers. Slightly incoherent charging of the spa facilities though.

The bar was a bit tired in places. Some chairs were ridiculously filthy and worn so I wasn’t hopeful but our room was perfect in every way. A beautiful comfortable pristinely clean tidy room with an enormous bed and free gin and tonic and a happy birthday welcoming plate with mini cakes and strawberries. Sadly the bar closed at 11pm so we were refused a drink on our return just after this which was a shame.

The Hotel was lovely. Most of the bar staff were lovely although the female manager was rude to one of the staff members in front of the guests which seemed a little unprofessional. Spa facilities were amazing and really unusual. The food was lovely and would def stay again. The rooms were well equipped and nice although there was mould around the window frames.

I’ve always liked this hotel as it’s quite small and it always felt a little special. But this time I felt very much like just a number, no real welcome or attention given at any point. Deluxe Room (sea view) - whilst bed was very comfortable and bathroom adequate the rest was a little tired and I found it rather lacking. Especially for the price.

I had a lovely stay for work and wished I could have spent more time in my room, which was gorgeous! The room was beautifully decorated and had all the bits and pieces I needed. The sea view (with a complimentary G&T!) was just amazing. Breakfast was also really nice with lots of choice. Will definitely be coming back!

Hotel is right on the seafront and an easy walk to Brighton Pier and the Lanes. There is no street parking nearby so we parked the car in Churchill Square carpark for 2 nights at our own cost.

I booked the wrong date, and realised within 2 minutes. But wasn't able to cancel. The hotel did not respond to messages on Expedia, when I called they said I had to speak to Expedia as I didn't book direct. I then had to contact Expedia, who contacted the hotel, and in the end I paid for a hotel I couldn't stay in. The lack of communication was appalling.

Terrible room, they do not tell you about the view, the smell or the noise from the ac units outside. Also the hidden extras were huge, per day 15 for a dog 10 for SPA 28 for parking, 3 days - is 159 pounds in hidden extras, its a joke AVOID this hotel. I booked a 3 day stay and checked out on the first morning, ruined trip.

Ok room. Extremely expensive for what we got. No curtains but shutters. AC was broken. Heat was ridiculous, could hardly open ancient single glazed victorian sash. Secondary double glazing almost impossible to move. I did not sleep at all because of the heat.

I travelled down to Brighton with some friends to take part in the Brighton 10k run on Sunday 17th November. The hotel is nice but located in an old building so parts of the hotel felt quite cold at times. However, the breakfast was nice and the location is great and central to everything near by!

The only things that could be better would be getting the windows cleaned and some minor mould on the ceiling. Also the breakfast cost was overpriced considering you could walk to Wetherspoons nearby and get the same for less (or get a too good go like I did). Overall great but could be amazing.

Very small room with little or no space to hang anything longer than a tee shirt. Bed squeezed into a corner so could only get in & out from one side which made it difficult for the one against the wall. Very expensive for such a room a small room & breakfast not included either. My \"cosy\" single room turned out to be a cramped room with inadequate storage and nowhere to sit. After two difficult nights when I had a serious bed malfunction, I was lucky to be upgraded into a super double. I can't fault the staff or the service. I felt that the room I stayed in, a single room, was overpriced at £148 with no wardrobe or hairdryer, the best thing was the feather duvet and pillows. Overlooking Brighton's expansive beach, nicely renovated hotel with a surprisingly welcoming underground spa, where I had a thoroughly recomended deep tissue massage. It could do with a bit more diligent dusting and vacuuming though, both in the rooms and communal areas (the lift for example). And although everyone was helpful & polite, ask a receipt for everything extra (i.e. the not so good value for money breakfast) you pay for as it may not show on their system and you may be asked to pay twice.
