This is one of the nicest and best places to stay in Brighton. I had a very nice quiet room on the 4th floor, had everything you would need, including an iron, tea and coffee making, tv, nice shower and comfy bed. Good breakfasts too. Room was cleaned every single day to a high standard. And the staff are just wonderful - they are what makes the hotel special.

The staff were helpful and friendly, the location is good (easy walk to the centre), the view from my room was superb. But this place is tired, it needs updating, the furniture is tired, the carpet is tacky and it feels neglected. The breakfast is very limited and i suspect that it will be very noisy when there is a show on. The terrace stays open to the small hours and i felt lucky that i stayed on a Tuesday when there was no show and the weather kept people away from the terrace.

In a great location near the pier, the hotel was very clean with good facilities. The Receptionist was friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. The bathroom was small but fine for us. We didn’t have breakfast. Would definitely stay here again even though there’s no parking.

The view from the room was excellent but we weren't prepared for the noise from the bar. Although the room was a great size, it definitely requires an update; most of the roller blinds cords were broken and the curtains didn't fit the window completely. An extractor fan in the bathroom would be beneficial.

Last time I had issues with check in as it took too long and the receptionist spent the entire time counting money and complaining about her colleagues (unprofessional). This time it was quick and the receptionist (a Czech woman) was lovey and efficient.

Still a bit noisy as you can hear people on the landing and in other rooms and the pillows are more like tissue paper.

Regardless, a good stay. Very affordable for the area with a nice bar and bar staff.

We loved our room at Legends - it was small, but had all the necessary things in there - and the view was incredible!!!
We were on the 4th floor and the noise didn't bother us at all.
The bed was very comfortable, the shower was powerful and hot.
Breakfast was tasty... they were short staffed, which left them running around like crazy - but they were very nice about it. My main complaint is the breakfast portions were a bit on the small side... especially the granola and the fruit salad, which were served in a ramekin.
All in all, it was a lovely room and good price. We would definitely stay there again.

Nice clean room on 4th floor with great sea view. Breakfast was delicious. Nice and central with easy walk to shops, bars and restaurants .
You will need a restaurant for your evening meal as the hotel restaurant becomes a cabaret bar in evening. It does seem to be Drag artist Cabaret every night,if you like that.
We would stay again.

Every staff member that i dealt with was polite, professional and could not be more helpful. The venue as a whole was very clean and tidy. Only 1 gripe was how limescaled the shower head was. Was so bad.. if u stood under it and turned it on u wouldnt get wet as the water was spraying to the side. I had tk descale it myself

I stayed for one night, with the intention of booking my birthday week stay and an evening party, I spoke to the bar manager, Bradley and we made a plan. BUT my room was freezing cold on arrival with no heating on, I went back down and the receptionist came up to the room and turned the central heating radiator on !!.... I then spent the evening at Legends, when I returned to my room, It was still freezing...(Also the TV had NO channels tuned in..). I was so tired ( Im a disabled pensioner ) I just wrapped myself up and got into bed .I left at 7am the next morning., nobody on reception to complain to...Sadly, after 2 direct emails and 2 Hotels.com messages, explaining my problem, they eventually replied saying someone would be in touch in a 3 days, which was 14 days ago !.. They have still not replied.. So ive cancelled my birthday week stay, for me and friends, and party booking .I genuinely dont like complaining, but if they cant be bothered to respond in 25 days,, they deserve bad feedback.

A Very small, if not even under estimated size of a asmall in size room, with an almost nonexistent interior design, rather that made you rmade you of open and free of for a hotel room and not really making it feel like a room where you could navigate without having to stay without being relaxed you wouldn’t and add on eben extra to its to the uncomfortably small size of a hotel room was the lack of being ablealmost space inside access where you felt that you didn’t have to in its size for with long outdated interior as well as its structures

Although my room was at the side of the building, you still had a good view of the sea front. The bed was very comfortable and the room was a good size for a single. There is a night club but the noise was minimal.
A good pair of headphones sorts that out!
Staff were beyond friendly. All in all, good value for money.

Service on reception was great. We upgraded our room to the top floor at a reasonable price and it was totally worth it. The only negative was the breakfast which we paid for. Although it’s reasonably priced, the quality of the produce could be improved and the coffee was not drinkable. We paid extra for 2 expressos but these should have been complementary given we left the coffee included in the breakfast

Couldn’t be more helpful if they tried., the room was freezing and so out dated even with the radiator on I slept with my jumper on , And my friend has a medical condition where she’s not very good walking to far but on our way back to the hotel her leg gave way and she got a cut lip , but the security staff made the assumption that I was her partner and had hit her, and laughed at us when we tried to explain ,and told us to go straight up to our room and said we couldn’t use the bar , when I booked this hotel realised it was a gay one and thought it would have a lovely atmosphere, but obviously not, by far the worse hotel I’ve stayed and it wasn’t even cheap

The room was spotless and single room. There was a shower and wc, the breakfast was most enjoyable I was sorry to miss the saturday night entertainer, but I was tired and watched TV. The staff were all lovely and I hope to go again at some point. I recommend going to the Brighton Pavilion, I went on the one hour long guided tour and popped in their cafe and gift shop there.

The check in was awful. The woman on reception kept me waiting for about 10 minutes while she worked on other tasks (which she complained about and blamed her colleagues for). Very unprofessional. My bed was allegedly a double but it was very small lengthwise. The pillows were very incredibly thin.

I recently stayed at Legends Hotel in Brighton, and it was an amazing experience! I had a beachfront room with a stunning view — waking up to the sound of the waves was just perfect. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the room was clean and comfortable. The shower was fantastic — great pressure and really refreshing!

Staff very nice especially jamie & jayke. Easy check in, able to leave bag for a few hours on check out day.

The bar downstairs was bright and vibrant, had an very funny and enjoyable evening show with cosmic the drag queen, great experience. Drinks are on par price wise

Location is very close to seafront & LGBT area, and there is always someone on hand 24hr a day.

My second booking here this year, Will deffinatly book again if in the area.

Some tea and coffee. The breakfast is a specific 2 or 3 options set to be choosen from the menu plus a drink (coffee, tea or juice). Different coffees are charged.
Great location, just in from of the beach. You can sit and have some drinks and food at the bar while wait for check-in.

We stayed for two nights the first night in room 408 but had a terrible nights sleep due to the noise of the extractor fan outside the window so we upgraded to room 308 which was top class and had the best nights sleep the sea view was amazing the staff where very helpful in sorting the upgrade and I’d happily stay there again just not in room 408

Really good location for beach, sealife & Lgbtq venues.
Hotel itself is a little creaky being an old building. The room i was in was close to ventilation system so wouldnt be good for light sleepers (but ear plugs were provided).

Cleanliness couldnt be faulted, attention to detail in the rokms was great, spitless kettle, clean crockery, shiny shower etc.

Check in wasn't the clearest but after waiting at the bar for a few minutes a friendly bar tender greeted me and took me through to reception. Easy check in and nice stay.

Only 1 quip - the shower randomly drained a few times during the night (probably a pressue thing) did freak me out a little but again an old building will have a few quips.

Didnt know that the bar at the front of the hotel where the receptionist area is of the hotel is a LGBTQ bar,was told this.Appears the hotel is of LGBTQ association as well.Didnt matter to me anyway.The pride flag flew high on many hotels and restaurants and businesses.The whole town stretch area on the beach seemed to have LGBTQ activites going on in July.Not sure if it is a yearly thing or what.Probably is.So you can check that out if you're interested.Town area where the hotel is seems very welcoming.I appreciated that.The hotel itself is at a good spot.Overlooking the sea and pier.Many dining and shopping availabities and options.
