The hotel is in a residential/commercial area that has a few restaurants but nothing great nearby. The subway station is on the same block so it's convenient but you have to switch to bigger lines to get anywhere. No nightlife, quiet neighborhood. The front desk staff are just clerks - you basically check yourself in. They don't know the neighborhood for recommendations. The room was spacious and comfortable by any standard esp. for Japan. Beds were good, shower room was wonderful and we got towels whenever we asked for them. Breakfast was a good selection of Japanese and western foods. Very satisfied with the hotel but there was nothing of note around it.

I was so surprised with this hotel, very clean the high rise bed to store your luggage gave the room plenty of space and just easier to get stuff. Bed was really comfortable. Bathroom was a bit small I’m 6ft but still was very clean and comfortable. I would 100% book here again!!! Right next to family mart and close by McDonald, coco curry, and other yummy treats. Next to train station and one short transfer JR Yamamoto line.

Room was clean every 3days that is hotel policy! But if you need bins empty, just leave it outside room and it will be empty immediately!!
Bedroom was very small, especially I was in a double room and twins bed..
The check out time 10am, that’s far too early, compared to the U.K.? But you can extend check out time, which I did for extra 2hrs for 4,000¥.
Apart from that I was happy!!
Will I stayed there again”NO” for the amount it cost me, I will prefer to stay in Hilton Tokyo next time..

There was any access to the pool regardless of the season, the pool is pay per visit which doesn’t make sense. During the booking it says there’s pool access but does not mention that you have to pay to use the amenities. The cleaning staff were very friendly which I appreciated but the staff at front desk were not very helpful, I would say average service.

Nice property with a lovely on-site onsen (or maybe local water spa - not sure). Room for luggage under the bed, but rooms are pretty tight. Nice having some hooks! Only downside was no in-room AC control, so had to get a stand-alone unit from the front desk, which took up quite a lot of space in the room.

Very nice stay for my first time in Japan. The compactness of the room was a shock, but got over it very soon. The bathroom is no bigger than a closet, yet so clean and efficient. A bidet definitely helps with reducing toilet paper waste. Although, there were some amenities I didn't make use of, pictures on their brochure looked promising. The dining experience was buffet style and the food was full of delicious variety. The Oedo train station is less than a 5 minute walk, which is great for getting around Tokyo in a flash. One minor setback which is no fault of their own was the mattress I slept on was sinking in on one side, possibly due to heavier guests prior to my visit. Will definitely come back to this particular APA or another when I revisit Tokyo. Thank you, APA, for your hospitality!

The pool access is a paid service and it was not in booking details. The hotel room was cleaned every 3 days which I do appreciate although the rooms can be bigger for the pricing we were paying for. On days when room cleaning service is not performed you still get clean towels. Laundry access only have 6 washers and dryers and honestly it was pretty expensive as they weren’t huge washers. Staff were friendly and they offer luggage storage before check in and after but one thing I didn’t like was when they charged for making domestic phone calls and did not write that explicitly. The staff can be more engaging and help with bookings during our stay as we wanted to book oil massages and made us call ourselves even though there was a language barrier. The other hotels we stay at performed these practices in which we believe are actions of above and beyond.

I’m not going to lie, I was not at the hotel very much. However when I was there, the staff was very helpful with luggage forwarding. Rooms are cleaned every three days unless you need them to. There is a toiletry bag left daily at your door with fresh towels and coffee packets. They are very non intrusive! As for the outside, there is a 7eleven right outside, a family mart and the nishishinjuku station is a 2 minute walk! Perfect for all my needs! I will say I have tattoos (6) so I didn’t even try the onset as covering them would be a challenge

Efficient room with everything I needed. Great staff ready to assist in the lobby. I kept on having to request an additional towel as was only ever allocated a single ine (and I like having two). Housekeeping did not turn over my bed linens during my 5 night stay. Paid for the breakfast and I wish I hadn’t. It was not appetizing and there are much better options available in the city.

I had an excellent stay in this hotel! The room is in smaller side, but not too cramped for a solo traveler. The amenities in the property are great and well-maintained. I particularly enjoyed the public bathhouse, which is a treat after a long day of walking and exploring. Their frontdesk agents were also very helpful and very much professional. I loved their breakfast buffet! The hotel is also close to the Oedo Line, which travels directly to Shinjuku and Shibuya proper (around 5-10 mins ride). It's also surrounded with a bunch of convenience stores and restaurants, which made it easy to grab late night dinner/snacks. I wholeheartedly enjoyed my stay here and would come back in my next visit.

There was no functioning air conditioning in our room and the a/c unit just delivered hot air, even when the thermostat was set to 18. It was the hottest and most uncomfortable night of our trip. Front desk staff did not seem to care when I explained the problem. Would not recommend this hotel.

The air conditioning didn’t work and it was very hot. The laundry mats were very inconvenient and the dryers didn’t work well (it took about 2 hours to dry each load) and there weren’t enough machines, so everyone was waiting. It wasn’t a very good operation.

The hotel is in a great location - just next to the subway station. Good places to eat nearby and a pleasant walk to Shinjuku station.
The facilities for snacks/washing is good.
Onsen is amazing - and free for the guests.

The room was tiny (as expected), bit tight for 2 people with luggage. And the place is bit dated - our room carpet looked worn and had stains.

Overall a good stay but would prefer big more space and fresher room for my next visit.

This location is amazing just a 3-5 minute walk to the subway station that takes you everywhere in the city. The hotel is in a quiet area which is amazing. Makes you feel safe.
Of course the rooms are small but perfect for 2 people, the experience is amazing.
Breakfast is great option to add as well! Great options for the price! Loved the coffee machine!!

Great hotel, very close to the train station which helped a lot with getting around. Loved the multitude of family marts close by an McDonald’s within a 6 min walk. Bed was very comfortable. There was no individual room air control so we had to control the room temp by opening and closing the window. Coin washing worked well and I enjoyed the smell selection of snacks available by the washing machines as well. Absolutely will stay here again!

Extraordinary breakfast buffet with sashimi bar, fresh tempura bar, Japanese desserts and everything else you could want for breakfast. Wonderful room, onsen facilities and overall relaxing vibe. This is where Japanese people go to relax. The hotel staff generally don’t speak English, so know the basics in Japanese or use decent translation software.

Great location with multiple train stations within 1 block. Rooms are small but comparable to others in Tokyo area. Linens are provided daily. Only thing to be aware of is you cannot control the temperature in the room. So Mae sure to pack accordingly. I went in January and the room was cold

All Tokyo rooms are small. This one had under bed storage so we were not walking around our luggage. The spa (hot tub) was my favorited part of the stay. Special robes are provided. I went in the afternoon after 3 pm and it was not crowded. Next to the hot tub were individual shower stalls and hair dryer areas are in the locker area. Many people mention the breakfast buffet. We were not impressed. After living in Italy, coffee from a machine just didn't do it for us and the food was so so. We were able to find other places to eat in the area by searching for coffee on Google Maps. The hotel is in a great area and Tokyo Opera City is close as is Shinjuku Central Park. Christmas light displays make the park magical at night.

I’ve stayed at this hotel twice now, and both experiences were consistently excellent. The rooms are modern, stylish, and feature large flat-screen TVs with stunning skyline views. What makes this property stand out is the on-site Onsen, conveniently located near the laundry and snack shop. The location is unbeatable—literally seconds from the subway and multiple convenience stores, with great dining options just steps away. Shinjuku was about a 15min walk or short ride on the subway. To top it off, the staff is incredibly accommodating and handled our luggage storage seamlessly both before check-in and after checkout.\"
