The staff is so sweet. They provide umbrellas when it rains. They are very polite and always great you upon arrival whenever you return to the hotel. Love their music in the lobby and people socialize in the lobby in this big comfy couches and communal table. Love it here, they make you feel at home,

Location was perfect right across from the park! Super walkable to most places in Shinjuku, but also in a quiet area so it was the perfect mix of nightlife / shopping / relaxing. Room was extremely small, but that’s to be expected. Bar, restaurants, and cafe on site was perfect, and delicious!

Great stay. It’s located within a prime location in Shinjuku which is very convenient. I was able to walk and get just about everything I needed. Staff was awesome and I miss the breakfast and lunch buffets. There was also a 2nd floor bar and grill which I used just about daily.

My three daughters and I stayed here for 4 nights and had a lovely time. The location is not ideal (20 minute walk to Shinjuku station) but we are fit and didn't find it that inconvenient. The room was clean and modern and the beds were very comfortable. We used the gym which was a bit small and cramped, but it worked for what we needed. My only complaint would be the lack of space to put your clothes in the room. We had to live out of our suitcases for four nights, which because quite difficult and messy. Also, the breakfast was just average. Some drawers or closet would have made our stay much easier. Overall we enjoyed the hotel very much.

We lived our stay here, we used this as out base in Japan. We left a lit of stuff in our roon and travelled to Oaska and kyoto saving us careying all our luggage around. Restaurant on 1st floor was totally amazing reccomend you book as there is not a lot of tables however the groubd floor restaurant offers a slightly different menu and this does have plenty of tables but still a goo idea to book. Both restaurants were amazing service above and beyond.
Bakery in reception is out of this worls especially for breakfast.
All in all an amazing place not too far feom shinjuku station and opposite he lovliest park can fully reccomend.

The hotel was placed near a station, convenience store, a beautiful park, and was so peaceful! It had a jazz feel and was very clean. Would absolutely recommend because it was 15-30 min from shinjuku and downtown Shibuya. Wish I had more time so I can explore more.

The hotel is directly opposite the beautiful Shinjuku Chuo Park and while we were there, so were the Tokyo Lights, which made the park very magical at night.
The hotel is 10 minutes walk from Tochomae Station and around 15 minutes walk from Shinjuku Station, a further 5 minutes into Shinjuku itself, so is very well located. There is a bakery and breakfast buffet at the hotel, also lunches dinners are served both downstairs and on the 2nd floor grill.
We upgraded to a superior room, but could have done with something bigger for the 2 of us, but the hotel was fully booked. My son had a superior room to himself and it was ample size for him.
The towels are changed daily, however, the tea and coffee weren’t replenished, but this wasn’t a problem, as there is a family mark, a minutes walk from the hotel and 2 cafes in the park, one which does the famous fluffy pancakes.
The hotel was buzzing all day long, even the locals came to eat here. The food was very good.

The location of the knot was perfect! 10-15 minute walk to the train station. Across the street from the met building. The bakery and restaurant on property was delicious and convenient. There are a bunch of laundry machines on 2 floors but fyi the dryer doesn't dry very well so I had to hang a bunch of things as to not wait an extra hour. I’m not sure if this is a big business hotel because there are a lot of people on laptops in the lobby area but there is also a lounge on the second floor. Overall 10/10 I would stay there again. They also have a breakfast you can add on. I did not because I wanted to try different restaurants in the area and beyond.

We loved our stay here. Such a great location, in a quiet part of town but only a 15 minute walk to lot of food and shopping, and a 10 minute walk to subway stations. The room was so spacious, bigger than any of our other rooms while staying in Japan. We would 100% stay here again.

Hotel was conveniently located about 15min by foot to the train station and close to bus stops. Gym was clean and well maintained. Laundry is available if needed. Hotel has 2 restaurants as well as a bakery for a quick morning breakfast if desired. What was lacking is a small convenience store to purchase drinks/snacks/toiletries since there isn’t one nearby.
Room was efficient and clean but very small. We had the 4 person family room.

The Knot is in a great location facing Shinjuku Chuo Park. The hotel is modern and stylish with bars , restaurants and even a bakery at the front. Staff are very helpful & attentive. Rooms are compact but clean & well designed and we were glad we had a queen size bed. Lots of convenience stores, bars & restaurants nearby and not far from downtown Tokyo or Golden Gai area. Would stay again!

Great stay at The Knot for our first time in Tokyo! Beautiful lobby and great buffet breakfast. Across the street from a nice park and in a quiet - calm - neighborhood. Well situated to two main subway lines and walkable to Shinjuku and Golden Gai areas. Highly recommend!

The negative:
The room was way too small. No space to move around after I opened my suitcase. No place to sit, except the bed. Only one English speaking tv channel, but it had no picture, so it was like listening to NPR on the radio.
The positive:
Food (breakfast buffet, lunch buffet, the Grill restaurant) was very good!
Nice workout room.
Onsite self-service guest laundry.

Very nice hotel. A comfortable 15 min walk (slightly and conveniently downgrade) from Shinjuku station. The hotel has an excellent baker shop in the lobby with delicious items. There’s also a restaurant which we didn’t try. The room we had was small but very clean. The bathroom is similarly small by western standards but adequate. The tub/shower has a high wall that could challenge older people to step over. We had two double beds as queen beds didn’t seem to be an option. Air conditioning made the nights sleep comfortable. Two very large government towers are minutes away and feature an excellent and free observation deck. Not as high or impressive as Tokyo SkyTree but still quite nice. Would we stay here again? Yes.

This is a great hotel. It is very clean and the staff is very helpful. There is a gym, bakery, and two restaurants/bars. It is across the street from Shinjuku gardens and in a great location to catch a bus or subway.

Staff, amenities and building are all great. Beds and bedding were very comfortable.

The rooms are super small (which I understand in Tokyo rooms are small), however when staying with more than one person there is no space to have two suitcases open at the same time. Which creates unwanted stress when locating your items.

The bathroom is also a very big step up to get into the bathroom. This was quite challenging for my mum who is in her 70’s.

The park across the road during the day was lovely. It was a wonderful surprise to see turtles as well :)

Great location that’s a little more peaceful area, away from the craziness of Shinjuku shopping district but just a short bus ride away or a nice walk! The restaurant is incredible. The bakery is amazing and our room had a great view of the cool Metropolitan government building and beautiful park.

Hotel was great! Breakfast was a staple every morning! The fresh bakery in the lobby was exceptional! 1st floor and 2nd floor bar/restaurants were delicious. The gym has updated smart equipment. Location was great for the train stations and taxis were always parked outside should you choose that route. Would definitely recommend for an all around perfect stay!

This hotel is very clean and the staff are lovely. The location is about a 20 min walk from all of the sights around Shinjuku. It would have been easier to be closer to Shinjuku station. The gym is tiny and has no towels or water, which was a huge minus. In fact, it is quite hard to find enough water at the hotel. The complimentary bottles were not enough. A water station would be a great addition to not only the gym, but the hotel.

Hotel, lobby, rooms were all clean and had a nice atmosphere to them. Rooms were a little on the smaller side (I am 6ft tall). Staff was super helpful. The laundry wasn't that great, too few for all guests (some guests held up all of the units to themselves). But the worst part is when finally getting to use the units, the dryers are leaving clothes damp. Besides the laundry, the location was perfect for the Tokyo Government Building being across the street. Shinjuku station was not that far of a walk.

Very nice, comfortable, modern place to land in Shibuya. Staff was welcoming and helpful. After staying for 4 nights at the beginning of our trip, we ended up booking our last night in Tokyo here. When we arrived, the gentleman at the front looked at us and said “Welcome back!”

Overall, this place was amazing. I am so happy I selected it with the amount of places to stay in Tokyo, it can be extremely overwhelming. But, this place was great, breakfast buffet, absolutely delicious with a lot of options. Something I enjoyed doing every morning was trying the different options they had out. Location- great! Right across the street from a wonderful and peaceful park, which was lovely. One thing I would wish for was simply more space in my hotel room. I expected it to be small, based ok the other reviews, but wow, definitely a very tight squeeze, even for a solo traveler for myself. But, everything else made up for it, in my opinion, just a heads up for anyone else traveling, the rooms are TINY and maybe pack lighter than usual if possible.

First impressions: nice vibe with lounge and music, restaurant and bakery on main/first floor. Rooms are small even though we booked a deluxe room with 4 beds. There were no room for luggage except under your beds, small seating area in middle of 4 beds. Room was dark and felt cramped. Location was ok but not in downtown Shinjuku. It’s further away and about 15 min walk to train station. We did eat at the bakery twice for convenience. Food was good and price was ok. We are in the hotel restaurant our last night there for happy hour (Waygu burgers, fries and curry). Food and drinks were very good (we had sangria which was one of tge best I’ve had. ‘T husband has beer and gin and tonic which were also very good.

Also, we did see homeless camps on our walks go tge train station. It was o my a few and they kept to themselves, but something to note.

Would recommend for a short stay (we stayed 3 nights) but not longer. I would recommend staying closer to downtown and closer to train station

The hotel had an odd layout and the room was small, which is expected for Tokyo, but it felt a bit tighter than anticipated. There was also very limited bathroom counter space, which made it less convenient for getting ready. The lobby was almost always busy and a bit chaotic. It does get the job done for a short stay, but overall it wasn’t my favorite and I probably wouldn’t choose it again.

I got the queen mattress and the room was still very small. Bathroom was extremely small and for some reason it’s not flat on the ground. Room was pretty much the bed. I love the coffee and barely attached but k wouldn’t eat there much as I came to try local food. Not the furthest from the station but it’s a 15 min walk everytime you come back. Always had issues with busses drop me off close. Very nice park and very close to a Familymart and close to a bus stop

This hotel is far from everything. It is not cleaned during your stay, the cleaner just comes in and gives bottled water and new towels. The outlets for charging devices do not work. The beds are uncomfortable.

Good location nice clean hotel our room had no closets so we had to keep all I. Suitcases but that was fine with us we stayed there 4 nights. Clean bathrooms . Our room was small but again we only spent the night so for the good price was perfect. There is a place there for breakfast for take out or eat in the lobby with excellent food baked goods freshly made sandwiches. 15 to 20 min walk to south Shinjuku station I would stay there again.
