I genuinely cannot think of any negative experiences at this hotel. It was such an amazing place for my stay, I couldn't of asked for anything more. It has a high class feel, the staff were all so helpful and kind wanting to help when they could. The cleaners daily visit left the room refreshed for when we returned. The room size was more than enough with great views over Shinjuku and it was nice and quiet. As with Tokyo in general the hotel too was spotless, every part was nice and clean.
I think if I had to think of something that wasn't great (which is a challenge), I would warn others about the elevators. The doors don't wait, they will close on you I saw it happen and had it happen to both of us. You don't get a lot of time to enter the elevator so you need to be ready when the doors open.
Besides that, the hotel and all the staff helped make it a perfect holiday for me. ありがとうございます

I recently stayed at Keio Plaza Hotel and had a bit of a mixed experience overall. When I first checked in, I was assigned a room in the South Tower that hadn’t been renovated yet. Unfortunately, the room felt quite dated and a bit worn, and it gave off a slightly unclean impression despite being serviced.

That said, the highlight of my stay was definitely the staff. I spoke with the front desk about my concerns, and they were incredibly friendly, understanding, and professional. They offered me the option to upgrade, and I decided to go for it. I’m really glad I did. The upgraded room was a completely different experience: modern, clean, and very comfortable.

While I do think the unrenovated rooms could use some attention, the excellent service and the quality of the upgraded accommodations really turned things around for me. If you’re planning to stay here, I’d definitely recommend opting for one of the renovated rooms from the start.

This hotel is situated perfectly, close to Shinjuku Station, in the heart of Tokyo. There are many restaurants in the hotel as well as within walking distance. There is shopping close by too. It is only a few blocks from Shinjuku Central Park for some serenity or to go for a run. The hotel is clean and the staff are very helpful. There is a 7-11 in the hotel as well. The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering western and traditional Japanese cuisine. The views from the 27th floor were amazing as well.

Location is very convenient, there is an Airport Limousine bus stop right in front of the entrance. Staff services are awesome. Room is very spacious. There is a 7-11 convence store at the basement level. A subway stop is also very near to the hotel.

I hope this hotel can have a floor or area provide free flow coffee and ice cubes. This hotel seem a bit old but the room is huge and can place 2 large luggage’s on the floor. The best part is the 7-11 at basement is having most of the popular foods to try.

This is a beautiful property in an excellent location. It is close to Shinjuku Station and central. The breakfast buffet is excellent and there is a wide variety of offerings, both Japanese and traditional western fare. The rooms are spacious and the entire property is clean and well maintained.

The location of Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo is unbeatable, just a short walk to Shinjuku Station and right by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the area.

Unfortunately, the stay itself did not match the price or four-star rating. The mattress was extremely stiff and uncomfortable, making it difficult to sleep. The bedding setup was also frustrating, constantly coming apart during the night.

The room and bathroom felt very outdated, with poor lighting that was dim and flickering, and housekeeping missed obvious issues like this during multiple cleanings. Cleanliness was also a concern, with visible hair and mold-like buildup in the bathroom.

While the location was great, the overall experience lacked the comfort and attention to detail expected at this level. For the price, I would not stay here again.

The location is perfect! A few minute walk to the train station and so many restaurant options near by.
Rooms were clean beds comfy but basic. I was a bit disappointed when we seen the room. It didn’t match the picture I had seen online. This is a huge hotel besides check-in we didn’t have any other dealings with staff.

This hotel was really great to stay. The train station is a few Minutes Away.The hotel has a bus transportation to Disney and to the airport. The hotel has 24 hrs 7 Eleven in the hotel. The hotel has something for everyone needs. The rooms are really clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. This hotel is family friendly. I will come back to this hotel. I enjoy my time in this hotel.

We enjoyed our stay an this hotel. The location is very convenient for most sort of activities. Room and amenities were clean and nice. Room HVAC was very quiet and comfortable.

Very importantly, the staff were very responsible, knowledgeable and caring.

We didn't enjoy the size of the room - a twin size bed is really not suitable for a couple. The blanket was a layer over a sheet (nothing unusual) but the material was extremely slippery - causing the blanker to slide down the floor each time your move. Bathroom was very much out dated as well.

We had such a great time at the Keio Plaza. It is a great place for families. The whole 47th floor has beautiful views and plenty of space for kids to run around and also for quiet times for everyone one else. Loved the Starbucks and drinks daily! We will definitely come again!

Keio Plaza was wonderful. The room (2757) had a great view we could see the sky tree. Proximity to the station was great. The little extras in the room was a nice touch. We did have issues with luggage sending (it was not sent the day it was supposed to be, ultimately since I had an AirTag in the bag, I noticed and they did get my bag to the next hotel on time. Be aware there is a long line at 9am for luggage shipping. We had it there at 7 and there was no line. Overall I could not recommend Keio Plaza enough. We did not try any dining but the on site 7/11 was vital for morning coffee because there was only instant in the room.

The room was very dated, from the 1980s, and we found mold in the bathroom. Yet when I brought it up to the hotel staff, they blamed it on the system between companies like hotels.com and the hotels. They said they never claimed to be a 4 stars hotel, and apologized for the condition of our room and offered an upgrade to a renovated room but had to charge us an extra fee.

I loved everything about this hotel! The staff is excellent and professional. The decor is beautiful. There are several restaurants and shops. One of the days we were there it rained all day and we never had to leave the hotel--we ate, we shopped, we spent time in the lounge on the 47th floor looking at the amazing scenery. Our room was comfortable and clean. Lastly the location was excellent. It is walking distance to the Shinjiku nightlife, but quiet near the hotel. The biggest surprise was the nightly Tokyo Night and Light Show from 7 to 9:45! The show is projected onto the Metropolitan Government building right across the street from the hotel. We had front row seats from our hotel room. We were able to get onto the Hop On Hop Off bus a block from the hotel. This is an amazing hotel!

We found the hotel to be located conveniently in Shinjuku. Tokyo is wide and transportation access will be crucial to get places, and the hotel is six minutes away from Shinjuku station. There are numerous shops, stores and food spots minutes away. The building is in great condition, the room was spacious and very clean and the staff are polite and helpful. We were offered a later check-out time as an option due to our VIP membership which was nice of them. We did not have breakfast here, but they did also offer us a discounted price and they have both Japanese and Western available. Overall, the hotel was great!

Nice place to stay in Shinjuku. It's on a quieter block but close to the train station, restaurants and shopping. The concierge staff were super friendly and helpful. One of the beds in our room was really squeaky but besides that the rooms were clean, comfy and roomy. We had the Japanese set breakfast and it was a treat! In building 7-11 was super convenient for our early morning stops for coffee and onigiri. Would recommend staying here!

The hotel looks lovely from the outside and lobby but the rooms feel very stuffy and the bathroom didn’t feel clean. Staff did not communicate well in English and the breakfast was the same every day and not very good.
I felt for the cost we paid wasn’t really worth it.
We spent 5 nights with another couple and tbey felt the same as we did. The location is very central to the shops and restaurants. The Lobby bar was also very nice with good service.

After staying at a number hotels, it is easy to see why this one is a gem. The room was impeccable, the breakfast buffet offered many choices (my favorite was the salmon cooked just right so you could see the succulent, Omega fatty acids running onto your plate), surprise 7-11 on the lower floor of the hotel and most of the staff were very kind. We took advantage of viewing the Tokyo Night & Light show on the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building which holds the Guinness Book of World Records for largest architectural projection-mapped display. The trick is booking really early (over 6 months ahead of time) and selecting a room in the South Building and calling the front desk and requesting a high floor with a good view of the show. Don’t expect the staff to guarantee anything, but they will be able to note your preference. For those of you who are traveling with strollers or wheelchairs, this property is accessibility-friendly with elevators and ramps. I really loved staying here.

The hotel is in a fantastic location , our room was quite large , fantastic views . We were on the 30th floor and the WiFi was very bad , upload speed was less than 5mbs and upload was lower.
The lounge on 47th floor was useless as there was no food , free coffee and soft drinks but you had to order drinks in a vending machine.
But the location made up for everything else.

Only two negatives in our stay was crowds and elevator delays because of a conference during our stay and the narrow check in/out times. Asked for a later checkout from 11am to noon and hotel requested $120 extra fee.

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the train station, which made getting around very easy. The staff were incredibly helpful, and communication was seamless since everyone spoke excellent English. Keio was a delightful endpoint after a grueling 14 hour flight. Friendly staff, nicely appointed rooms with first class amenities. A 7/11 in the building is open 24 hrs a day and don’t miss out on their egg salad and strawberry cream sandwiches- ( all the reviews were right). The property is located close to the train and subway system and take advantage of them. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Wonderful stay at Keio. Hotel location was great, lots of restaurants and shopping. Great hotel. I do have a complaint though, during our stay, there were a lot of athletes from all over the world. our floor housed athletes from Europe. The hallway became their lounge, the had their massage table infront of our room, some clothes were strewn on the floor. At one point, when we got off the elevator, they were all in a circle, that we had to walk around them. Then for 2 nights early morning around 2 am, people on top of us were doing some sort of loud crushing noise. Not sure if they were fighting or doing gymnastic. So glad it was toward the end of our trip.

We asked for a view of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building and was really lucky to have a great view of the Tokyo Night and Light projection show! We could not hear the sound and music from the room (which was good because it meant that we couldn't hear any outside noise), but some of the music is available on the website. The hotel is very large so sometimes the elevator takes a while. The location was very convenient to Shinkuju station as well as Tochomae station.
Also, the bell captain desk staff were extremely helpful and efficient (takkyubin) with setting up luggage forwarding service all the way to Kansai KIX Airport. Thank you so much!

We have a teenager so it was important for us to have a room with three beds, which this hotel offered. The amenities were great - really enjoyed the L’Occitane products in the bathroom, the pajamas, and the complimentary water and charging cords. Our room appeared newly renovated so everything was clean and fresh-looking. The hotel is a short 6-8 minute walk to two stations: Shinjuku and Tochomae. The staff were very helpful and there was always someone available to assist with umbrellas, luggage, and advice. Another bonus was the 7-11 in the basement! So convenient for late night or early morning snacks and drinks.
