It was a cheap clean hotel room. There were quite a few homeless individuals hanging out by the entrance driveway but there is not much the management would be able to do about this so it is what it is. The staff were friendly and the hotel room entrance is within a hallway so it was safe in that regard. I probably would spend a little more for a safer location but it worked.

Sadly we checked out after 3 of our 4 nights.
Property is under renovation (not mentioned in ad) and hallway carpet was filthy.
Rooms were okay, but we had to be moved as air conditioner was not working in first room, but then safe and fridge not working in second room.
They placed us by the back door which has a broken closure and it banged open/shut all hours. There was a party in the room on the second night and it wasn’t dealt with. Hotel was loud, we had to buy earplugs. No housekeeping and I was told I had to ask for that. (Not mentioned when I checked in)
We had enough and checked out one night early to find another hotel. No refund given after repeated messages to the hotel.
Stay elsewhere if you can.

Under renovation (which is a good thing). Room was nice and clean (although carpets are stained in hallways and in room...hope that new carpetting is in the renovation plan). I didn't use pool or hot tub, but looked really tempting! The biggest beef was breakfast or lack thereof. Waffles (standard to most hotels nowadays, but all they had beside that was toast and cold cereal (but I didn't see any milk). Coffee was out. I ended up going to Denny's. Bed comfortable. All in all, I guess you get what you pay for.

I have tried over 5x for a call back in regards to my red jacket that was left in closet in one of the rooms I rented. I've even left 2 mgs for Nick the Manager to call me back. I have been patient and pleasant up to this point.
Also 45 minutes after the started breakfast most of everything was gone if it was even there to begin with.
It now is 2 weeks later .

Our first day we moved twice. Our second night in a newly renovated room was pleasant. The shower floor is slippery and should have had a grab. The pool area and outside of the building was freshly painted and we enjoyed it very much. The pool and hot tub were handicap accessible but nobody should stay in the accessible rooms until they are renovated. The staff on the second day were very helpful.

My experience with this hotel and with Travelocity was extremely disappointing from start to finish.

The hotel was undergoing construction during my stay, yet guests were not informed in advance. There was a strong paint smell throughout the building, along with dust on multiple floors and in common areas, which made the environment very uncomfortable.

The most frustrating issue was the lack of customer service. The manager, Nick, was never available to speak with despite multiple requests. Front desk staff repeatedly stated they did not have authority to resolve issues and said the manager would call me back, but I never received a return call.

I checked in on a Friday afternoon before attending a church conference at 7:00 PM. Upon entering my room, I immediately reported that the air-conditioning unit had a broken fan making a very loud noise. I was assured it would be repaired, but the maintenance technician was working on another room with no hot water. When I returned at 10:00 PM, I was informed that maintenance staff leave at 4:00 PM, meaning no repair had been completed. Since no alternative rooms were available, I had no choice but to sleep in the room. I was not reimbursed. I used Travelocity to book my stay. I filed a complaint and requested an investigation and a full refund. Two weeks later and still no response. I do not recommend using either the hotel or Travelocity.

Very nice hotel room. Construction going on but didn't bother us at all. Swim pool was clean and the hot tub was working. Continental breakfast was minimal even for continental standards. First key given to us was for an unclean room but staff righted the situation immediately. Overall, we would book again.

The hotel was in the middle of renovation, particularlry painting the halls. So the halls were messy. It should be much improved when finished. The room itself was nice, but I would have preferred a king or queen size bed vs. two full-size beds. My bad for not reading more carefully. Breadfast was fair with wafflemaker the only hot food.
The staff were mostly friendly and helpful. The pool and hot tub are tiny and there were problems with the heat.

The property was under going renovation so things were out of sorts. The shower water pressure was pretty low. The double room was pretty small and bathroom tiny. Breakfast sub-par. Our room keys were disabled on the 2nd day so couldn't get in the side door and had to wait a bit at the front desk until someone came and got them, to work- a bit of a pain after a long tiring day. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We were disappointed with our stay. The hotel was under construction, which was not properly communicated in advance. The air conditioning unit in our room was full of dust and construction particles, making it unusable during our stay.
On the last day, water started leaking from the bottom of the toilet, which was very inconvenient. Additionally, the breakfast was very basic — there was no fruit offered — and for the price we paid, we expected better quality and variety.
Overall, the condition of the facilities and the value did not meet our expectations.

I had to ask for room service and the lady that was down there at checkout or whatever you want to call it some white lady with the tattoo on her eyes that you would get it for me and she never did then when I left I told the lady that was there I think she was an Indian she told me how was my staying I told her it wasn't that good because I had for room service and she said that I have to call for it which I never saw no sign or nothing saying that second I wanted to use the heating spa machine outside that you guys have but it was dirty the whole place was just a mess I know that you guys put up science but it was just a mess and also the continental breakfast they didn't have milk they didn't have coffee ready none of that stuff so yes I'm sorry to say it was a horrible stay but I hope that you guys can fix all this in the near future soon thank you

The bright spot was the woman at check-in. The room was in such bad shape that I didn’t stay the second night I had booked. It was shabby and questionable of safety. A hotel sign at least will provide a little more assurance. Would not recommend.

Room was nice and clean. They are currently in the process of remodeling so are there are some issues. Breakfast is very limited so I chose to eat elsewhere. The door to the room I had to lift up to open or close it because it's not a line correctly and needs adjusted. The toilet wobbles as the bolts aren't tight on the floor. For some reason every time I go to open the door from the hallway I get a static shock every single time not sure what's causing that but probably dry air. Place is very busy hard to find parking after 10:00 p.m. but all in all I enjoyed my stay!

Staff is sweet but gosh the place is no good. They were renovating so hot water didn’t really work nothing is working as in no gym no pool no jacuzzi. People are always yelling and fighting at night there. YOU WILL NOT GET REST. Also $100 deposit that wasn’t mentioned.

The hotel appeared under renovation. The hallways were dirty. In the room there was no toilet paper or kleenex. After notifying the staff, none was to be found, and I had to go off site to obtain. Also, dirt and fingerprint smudges were on the sink faucet and knobs. In addition, there was noise from adjoining rooms and street noise (all of which I would put up with had I not been upset to begin with). All in all, not an enjoyable stay.

I come to Phoenix often to visit my daughter. The hotel was overall good value. The hotel was located in a fairly secure neighborhood near I-17. The hotel was going through a renovation when I stayed. It will be nice when they rip out the carpet in the halls. We stayed in renovated room with 2 full sized beds with no carpet! I dislike carpet. Also, the blinds were new. The room was clean and comfortable for the price. The staff is friendly. All the outer doors work with the car key. There is a washer and dryer on the property. There is a small pool and hot tub that appeared to function but we didn’t use it.
Cons: breakfast was VERY minimal so we didn’t eat there. Room 203 had low water pressure. I stayed for 7 nights and an although there was a sign that said housekeeping would clean every third day, no one cleaned the room for the duration of my stay. I requested cleaning but still no one came. The fitness rooms was closed to renovations. Overall, compared to the other places, I would rate this hotel 7/10, most likely 8/10 after the renovation is complete.

Despite it being under consideration the rooms where very clean and nice. The parking lot was well lit and not dark like other places I've stayed at. Nick the manager was very helpful and made sure the complimentary breakfast was well stocked. Great stay overall and I will be returning to stay whenever I'm in the Phoenix area.

Room was clean and recently remodeled. Although not completely finished, the room was functional, affordable, and extremely comfortable. Temperature control in the room worked perfectly, nightly rate was relatively within our budget, front desk staff was attentive, and our stay was lovely. We didn't get to take advantage of the pool and hot tub while there, but picked this stay over comparable places because it had indoor pool and hot tub.

Remodel must be going on. Room was ok for an overnight when you need the sleep. Old but not filthy. People slamming doors with some vulgar language at 5am. Breakfast was minimal coffee and juice with a slice of toast. Pancake machine not working. Wasn't sure if the guy was a guest or worker but appeared to belong to a circus. He and a few of his travelers were getting on the front desk clerks nerves. Clerk went into hiding. We left our key on the counter and I phoned after we arrived home to be sure they got it. I used to stay there frequently on my trips to Phoenix was always very nice and felt very safe.

This was the worst place I have ever stayed at.
I booked this place for its workout center and Hot tub. Work out center was closed and the Hot tub was ice cold. Construction was going on and the place was a mess. We needed ice for my wife’s knee replacement and the ice machine was not working. I couldn’t even keep ice in the refrigerator because the freezer part of the refrigerator was missing. There was no soap or even a place to put soap in the shower. You had to keep it on the floor.
The complimentary breakfast was not good. The pancake maker was broken. The orange juice machine was always empty. The biscuits were hard as rocks. The room had no place to put you clothes and no place to hang up hanging clothes.
I talked to the staff every day about it, and every day they said they would take care of it. Nothing was corrected the whole time we were there.
I will never go here again.
I was not even offered a discount for all the things that we paid for but did not get.

Dont stay here. They charge an early check in fee that they dont tell u ahead of time. And if u cancel and modify the room if the info dosent get sent to them they will charge u gor no show and not refund. For what i paid i couldve stayed at a 5 star. They seem $ hungry and wont work with customers even if theres proof u canceled or modified. This was the 2nd stay here will never be back and wont recommend anyone to this place.

Would not stay again. The property was under remodel and was extremely dusty and had a strong odor. My room was dirty and needed a good deep clean. There were also no top sheets on the beds and the bed frame was very squeaky. Anytime I moved it would squeak. The breakfast was very basic- toast, bagel, yogurt, 2 choices of cereal. The fruit basket was empty

No one told me about the security deposit before I arrived. I had a no refund stay. What is o didn’t have $100.00. Them is have lost my stay and my ability to sleep somewhere safe. That should be disclosed. That’s just sneaky and a rip off vibe. I asked for a wake up call no alarm in the room and nothing. So I didn’t even get breakfast. The room had dog or some kind of hair all over it. I have allergies.

First no water and no warning it would be off for first hr. We checked in at 7 pm. First room we were given was dirty everywhere with food in a fridge that was off. Was still patient. Took a deposit of $100 which was $30 more than the cost of room. I am on a work trip and major budget. Was told the next morning I would have the deposit back in 3-5 business days. This was a Saturday morning soo that would be by the following Friday! Stay away. They were extremely polite checking in, then pure Hell!!!
There is more but I believe that is enough said. I should have been given a refund, instead they so far have ripped me off an extra $100 on a $60 room.

The Sleep Inn Phoenix North is an excellent place to stay. The staff is very courteous, and the room was super clean. And loved the walk in shower, no tub to step over. We stayed there because my husband was having eye surgery and it was about a mile and a half away from the surgery site. It was a good call. Quiet and clean, and the manager was very nice and accommodating.
