Flooring/carpeting in room was dirty. They need a good shampooing and/or replaced. Pools were unsupervised, so obnoxious teenagers take over the hot tubs and typical families cannot enjoy their time. This happened at least 3 times in different pools across the property. The pool decking and sidewalks throughout were filthy. This property is in dire need of a refresh and needs better routine maintenance. A power washer, power scrubber and a floor shampoo on a scheduled basis would go along way. Overall, the all staff were nice and helpful. We will pass on any future visits to this property.

Went there for a long weekend business meeting and we had rented out the penthouse meeting room. Internet was not great in meeting room and we had difficulty doing a zoom meeting. Rest of resort was nice. The resort is large and seems to lack sidewalks to get around. Poor planning for that.

I had very high expectations booking Hilton Phoenix Tapatio Cliffs Resort, especially given the additional resort fees charged for what is advertised as a luxury resort experience. Unfortunately, our stay fell far below that standard.

While the grounds themselves are beautiful from a distance, many of the amenities that justify the premium pricing were either underwhelming, not functioning properly, or simply not maintained the way you would expect from a Hilton property.

The main disappointment was the pool and hot tub experience. Several hot tub jets were not working, certain water features were lacking pressure, and the overall “resort” feel that is heavily marketed online did not match reality. When you are paying specifically for access to these upgraded amenities, that matters.

Our guest room also presented issues immediately upon arrival. The floor was noticeably wet, creating an uncomfortable first impression. Cleanliness and upkeep should be a top priority at this price point.

Breakfast each morning was repetitive and underwhelming with little variety, which again did not reflect the upscale resort atmosphere being advertised.

To make matters worse, during one of our dinners I found a hair in my entrée. Although management did eventually address it after I contacted the hotel’s text assistance line, it should never have gotten to that point.

Overall, this property charges luxury-level fees for an experience that currently feels dated, inconsistent, and lacking

Rooms need a lot of updating tiny bathroom can barely close door…staff was so so …first got sent to a room where people had never checked out! How embarrassing….then asked for complimentary water. Said no. Least you could have done was said sorry for the future we can’t but heres one from us for now. Just common courtesy I think.

Everything was great but our flight was canceled and rescheduled for the next day. I am disappointed that we had to pay for a night that we didnt get to stay due to something out of our control. We were flying from WI to AZ so it wasnt like we could by pass the flight and just drive to the hotel.

We love how they have 7 pools. Staff are very helpful, breakfast buffet is also great. The only downside is that the staffs who drive the golf carts need to pay attention and not speed, especially at night, I almost got hit standing right next to our vehicle while holding my 1 year old.

The grounds are beautiful and relaxing. Our room was pretty run down and the carpet was stained and needs a good shampooing. The room has so much potential but needs to be renovated. On the plus side, the beds were comfortable and clean and the WiFi was great! Loved the smart tv with apps to watch a variety of shows while relaxing at night. The service at the adult pool was wonderful and the food was very good and fresh. Front desk staff was friendly. Would love to come back if renovated someday :)

We visited during a time when the resort had a large event scheduled, which was supposed to shut down the main pool area. While the pool never fully closed, several amenities were affected. Multiple restaurant options were unavailable, the slide was shut down for part of the day, and there were periods without music, which took away from the overall experience.

The most frustrating aspect was the lack of communication. We only learned about the potential pool closure after asking about renting a cabana. There was no prior notice about restaurant closures—we found out only when we tried to dine. Additionally, some staff members seemed unaware of what was open or closed, leading to inconsistent and confusing information.

That said, the resort itself is beautiful, and the front desk staff were very kind and understanding when we raised our concerns. I would still recommend this resort and would consider staying again, but I hope they improve communication, especially regarding large events that impact guest amenities.

They have golf carts to take you around but I was not expecting this. Not convenient. I was very disappointed. I’m a walker so getting around was difficult. Hiking nearby but didn’t feel safe..

Overall, we had a great time. A few opportunities for improvement though:

1. We weren’t aware that if it was low occupancy, they have people order on the breakfast menu instead of having the buffet open. The only time this happened to us was on our very last morning, where we had a plane to catch. The buffet being closed was not something we accounted for so I was a little upset with this.

2. We had a leak in our ceiling above the bathroom sink. Maintenance came to fix it once, but the problem persisted. Thankfully that was only an issue for the last two full days we were there.

3. The cafe near the main pool turned me away for a beverage after 11am on a Monday morning. It was our last full day and I wasn’t able to get a drink by the pool, which was a major bummer if I’m being honest. The people at the cafe said I could walk down to the restaurant, but I was looking for the poolside drink delivery. I had mentioned it a few times to my wife leading up to going down to the pool that morning, so that too was also a bummer.

Overall, we had a great time, as I mentioned. Other than those few things, we very much enjoyed our time.

Nice stay overall. Our sink wasn’t draining well and we had no shower gel upon arrival. Our check in was fine though they didn’t offer any help or suggestions. The water slide was to open at 11 but each day didn’t open until 11:30. This was a drag considering one day the whole falls area was closing at noon to a private event. Both days we had to request they open. Also we had noisy neighbors one night; unfortunately the walls are thin. Overall nice rooms and views.

Beware you get charged $39 per day just to use the ‘amenities’ such as the walking trail. I don’t recall this being disclosed when I booked. My room was also not available despite me reserving it weeks in advance. They put me in a different room that had a pullout bed, not an actual bed for my guest. The staff were great just disappointed in my overall experience.

The positives are the staff are attentive and bring anything you need right away. We got extra pillows, blankets and towels right away. The negatives are the rooms are older, mattress was uncomfortable, doors squeak so they wake everyone up. Also there was a flashing light from the smoke alarm or sprinkler but it was awful when the lights were off. It was so bright and obnoxious. Not sure if we would stay here again.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, the staff was attentive, welcoming, and consistently went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable.

Getting around the resort was incredibly easy thanks to the convenient transportation options, which made exploring everything stress-free. The pool experience was a highlight—there were so many options to choose from, it felt like there was something new to enjoy every day. The poolside service was also excellent; our server was friendly, responsive, and made the experience even more enjoyable.

Most importantly, my kids (ages 5 and 12) had an amazing time. There was plenty to keep them entertained, and seeing how much they enjoyed themselves made the trip even more special for us as a family.

We would definitely return and highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and family-friendly getaway!

What we enjoyed: having restaurants onsite, multiple pools/ hot tubs to swim in, large spacious rooms, Landscaping was decent, Beds were just ok. The bar staff at the restaurant was great, friendly and mad awesome drinks. Pool were clean and many of them.
What we did not like: Pillows were the worst (means barely a good night of sleep), whereas the landscaping was decent it needed alot of upkeep (basically a good overhaul), I noticed that alot of the building and pathways need major work (seen dry rot around windows and paths could use a major update, tripping hazard), the room we had 6225, sink barely drained neither did the shower, the whole experience of room service seemed more like a door dash (food was not really hot, shrimp was undercooked and it was in a paper bag), I got a little sick after eating the shrimp tacos but that could happen anywhere really. The adult pool bar could have stayed open longer and so could the larger pools.
All in all, I just would not stay here again for the price.

The different pools on the property were great b/c this avoided crowds. This is definitely a property that takes in sports traveling families/large families. We went the week of spring break. The hotel staff were polite. The property is large to walk around. The pool side food and beverages were pricey and even though we ordered through the QR code system we only got our drinks and didn't get our food so I had to ask for a manager to get reimbursed. Our reservations included breakfast and it was buffet or menu. The breakfast is good and assorted for a one to two night stayer. However, they do not change the menu other than the item of\"waffle/pancakes/french toast\". The replenishing and omelete station were very slow. The waiters and waitresses however were gracious and attentive. The last thing to share is the room, it is a standard room, the maintenance of the balcony does not look like its consistently power washed, the housekeeping was dissatifactory. The room we received was not clean b/c there were pieces of candy on the edges of the wall in the front lounge area. Whoever \"refreshed\" the first day, all the kuddos to this person b/c they did more than the bid minimum. The other days not so much. Would I return, only for the convenience of the family atmosphere and the different pool options.

The gentleman that checked us in was great. Very friendly and informative. The suite was spacious and clean and the bed was comfortable. We had a beautiful view of the mountains. There was a mini fridge and a coffee maker. The resort is very dark at night and there are no sidewalks except near the falls. There are several restaurants that are open during the day but they all close by 5pm except for the expensive fine dining and the Point in a thyme. This was always sold out. The first night we sat at the bar but the service was very slow and we had a hard time getting our check. Plan on eating off property. The resort was conveniently located to places we wanted to go to. We would stay here again.

The pool is nice and staff were accommodating. The property is very old, our door stuck (was difficult to open) and the room was always humid. No vent fan in the bathroom. Pull out bed was very thin and all springs - impossible to sleep on without multiple blankets put down. It’s not in the best part of town. I would not recommend this property or stay here again - especially given the cost.

I was surprised to see this property rated around an 8 in many places—because in my opinion, it’s truly excellent. The views are absolutely stunning, and the staff are consistently helpful, kind, and hardworking.

There are several pools to choose from, but we spent most of our time at the main pool. It has a tropical vibe, amazing drinks, and service that is both friendly and prompt. We also enjoyed both breakfast and dinner on-site, and every meal was wonderful.

While there’s no ocean, the atmosphere still gives off a relaxed, Mexico-like feel. I loved the décor style, and there are plenty of nearby hiking trails for those who want to explore. Having a Starbucks on-site was a great bonus as well.

The golf cart service is fantastic—they’ll pick you up and take you wherever you need to go, which makes getting around easy and enjoyable.

Overall, this place is truly a hidden gem, and one we’ll likely return to again and again.

This resort is a nice resort for family friendly activities. Pickle ball, tennis, hiking, lots of swimming pools and access to snacks and drinks. Beware the resort is very spread out and steep to get around without resort transportation. Resort transportation is okay, but a lot of waiting to get from place to place. Also, only one real restaurant so plan accordingly if you plan to eat with your family that it will be at the same place each just unless you go off resort.

The pools and outdoor space are impressive. Rooms were clean, but very old amenities. The hotel is in desperate need of an update (most things look like they were built in the 1980s) and they are very short of staff. Bell hop station couldn’t keep up with luggage, driving guests around in golf carts, etc. Also too few places to eat; only two actual restaurants. Over-priced for the age of the facility.

We had the very best stay at this property! The check in process was seamless and easy, we were given amazing recommendations of restaurants and how to get around. The drivers around property were responsive and always so sweet and friendly! Ersan and Eric and the whole crew made getting around easy and enjoyable! The pool was beautiful and full of kids and fun for my group. We enjoyed our stay immensely and would recommend to others! It is a large campus and old but felt like that was part of the charm. No complaints from our stay and so glad we chose to stay here!

What’s good about the Hilton Cliffs? The rooms are clean and spacious. The toilet/shower area was tight and certainly would be difficult for a larger individual or someone with mobility issues. The gym was well equipped and the multiple pools were clean with many lounge chairs and umbrellas. There are free washers and dryers, you supply the detergent and dryer sheets. This was an unexpected benefit and came in handy cleaning the bathing suits prior packing. The worst thing about the property is the parking. They recently initiated a $10.00 per night parking fee. The Hilton should pay you to park. The streets on property are incredibly narrow. My rental vehicle was a Hyundai Santa Fe, I had to creep through the streets in fear of hitting the side mirrors on my vehicle or the vehicles that were parallel parked. I frequently came within two inches of hitting a vehicle. There are limited parking spaces. One evening I had to park two buildings away from my room. One parking area is in a dead end, so you have to parallel park, then maneuver the car out of the space and back up 2-3 spaces to exit the area. Some of the parking are on steep inclines, so when you exit your vehicle you practically fall out. I would describe the parking as horrendous. I thought the location would be convenient , half way between I-17 and Scottsdale. But the parking situation negates any convenience.

The staff was very pleasant and helpful. the common areas and pool areas were nice and clean. The only thing I found lacking slightly was the bathroom was dated and was not as nice as you would expect from a Hilton. Aside from that it was clean and the experience was good.

This property was centrally located and accessible to Peoria, Glendale and Scottsdale but set in a quiet area out of downtown areas. Staff was very responsive, multiple choices of pools with clean towels and well kept areas. Rooms were clean and maintenance was responsive when our safe needed new batteries. Felt very safe for my daughter and I traveling together. Resort restaurant was reasonable and good food onsite and room delivery. Will definitely return.

I thought the room would have been cleaner. I found dust on the alarm clock and the clock didn’t work. There was dust on the carpet next to the walls You were told you could park in front of the room but usually there weren’t spaces so you had to park a bit away. The rep appeared more confident you could park in front of the room. Cleaning staff and pool staff and attendant were so friendly

The location was amazing. The stars for the staff go to two individuals alone. If not for them (hostess/waitress in restaurant and Brandon at front desk) I would have given ZERO stars for staff. Be prepared to ASK for everything including clean towels, coffee, room cleaning, real glasses, cheese on the breakfast buffet. NOT relaxing - it was a chore.
