I have only two problems with this property. A the price is a little steep and B the room next-door played loud music at four in the morning, drinking and yelling as well as the day before all afternoon. I don’t know why the staff doesn’t come up and stop this kind of behavior because for quiet clients like me it affects whether I will be returning or not.

Very cold corporate place. Not a big staff. No one behind the desk at night. No eating. Not close to any place walking distance. A serviceable room with a little kitchenette. Good for someone doing business around there that needs a few nights. Otherwise, if you’re looking for any pleasure in your stay , I would advise looking somewhere else.

Arrived at the property at 11:55 due to a delayed flight. Doors were locked. Front desk had a metal, locked gate covering the opening. I was required to call a service to gain access. Was informed that I wouldn't be able to check in being it was after 2am. It was 11:55 my time, and was hung up on. Called back, was again told it was after 2am and hung up on. (This was also after indicating on reservation that we would be a late check in due to flight time.) Cleaning staff opened the door and was able to let myself and another patron check in.. It only got worse from there. When I opened the hotel room door, no less than a dozen bugs scattered across the floor and counter tops when the lights turned on. There were bugs in the tub and sink too. Checked for bugs in the bed to find no mattress pad on the bed. I have never seen a room filled with so many bugs in my life. Tried checking into another hotel, but surrounding rooms were all booked. Contemplated sleeping in our rental car instead of the bug infested room, but eventually slept on top of the covers to get at least a few hours of sleep hoping nothing would crawl on us.

We had never stayed at a WoodSpring Suites and only booked it due to the lower price and shorter stay. The manager "on duty" was nice and kind upon arrival. The room however, was not worth recommending. The bathtub was dirty, the floors were dirty, the full-sized bed was on a frame that felt so unstable and of poor quality. Every time we moved on the bed, the entire bed moved! The mattress was poor quality as were the paper thin pillows on the bed. The room was next to the parking lot and a main road so every vehicle and noise was heard the entire night. The walls were so thin we heard every person that would come and go in the hotel. There were no amenities in the hotel room (coffee maker, kleenex tissue, hair dryer, etc.) It was not comfortable to rest in let alone "hang out in" during the day. We complained to the same manager who told us "he would not even stay in this hotel", but the hotel management would not refund 2 nights stay that we were cancelling. After an entire weekend of over a dozen phone calls, Expedia also failed us and would not step in to work with us or assist. We paid for 2 nights we did not stay and were forced to pay for another hotel in addition to it. As additional feedback, people actually LIVE in this hotel. They are not quality people and one person allowed for their pit bull dog to antagonize our dogs. It was a terrible experience and we would not recommend it at all!

This property should not be rated at a 7!! A 5 at best. No room clean up or making the beds. You have to bring your towels to the front desk and exchange them for new ones. No pool and no blow dryers in the room. The front desk was often closed.

Kind of what I expected. Very bare bones. Was a place to sleep that didn’t cost an arm and a leg for a short visit. Appreciated the little gym. Didn’t appreciate zero plates or silverware that didn’t cost $40. You are very close to a lot of places.

Is this a hotel or an apartment? House hold blinds on windows, small kitchen with nothing in cabinets, metal frame cheap bed that moves every time you get in and out of bed, cheap alarm, dirty headboard, lobby where behind the desk looks like an office, check in person not talking with “please” or “thank you” and no smiling. Feels very cheap. Where else are the cutting corners? Did not feel comfortable thinking this while sleeping there.

And one more thing I really dislike that only few very few hotels have ever made me do, I arrive tired, dragged my luggage into lobby, check in takes a long time, then finally, when you think you can finally go to your room, you can’t. I need to drag my luggage back outside, walk back to my car so because I have to put a parking pass on my dashboard and get them my car plate number. Then walk back again to the lobby with my luggage. Omg. I just want to go somewhere where things are nice, people are pleasant and rooms don’t look like Im staying at an old home.

Terrible when the front desk tries to withhold your state issued ID without letting you know.
Horribly dishonest front office staff. Lukewarm shower., broken, toilet, and broken bedframe.
If I had known it was like this, I would’ve never booked through Expedia to stay here. All of the positive votes appear to be paid fake reviews.

Fantastic for extended business travel. A lot of "extended stay" hotels in PHX metro area are pretty seedy. This one was a most pleasant surprise. SUPER staff (highly solicitous and really friendly), clean property and room, great workout room, comfortable bed, and conveniently located right by the I-17/101 interchange.

This is a hard motel to review because it is an economy extended-stay motel.
Safety: The parking lot is well-lit. I never felt unsafe.
Cleanliness and maintenance: No major problems. The ceiling in the bathroom showed signs of a water leak from upstairs. The bathtub drain was partially plugged and so it drained very slowly.
Kitchenette: Nice to have a large fridge and freezer. No ice tray. The only motel with a kitchenette that I have stayed at without dishes, utensils, or cookware. We bought paper plates and plastic utensils at the nearby Wallmart.
Amenities: I enjoy a swim in the evening. But no pool.
Breakfast: None.
Conclusion: For what you pay, you get a safe, OK place to stay. Would I stay here again? Probably not.

The beds were terrible. Could not sleep at all. Remote control to tv didn’t work. Maintenance had to come to our room and switch out. No one was available at night or early in the morning. No bell to ring, and no one was behind the roll down window. I don’t know what we would have done if there was a true emergency. An Amazon driver tried to leave a package as we were leaving but there was no one around to receive it. He tried to give it to me thinking I was an employee. The only good thing I could say is that it was clean.

The bed frame was a squeaky loud wire frame that creaked every time I rolled over. Oh, and the mattress was upside down when I arrived so the bed was all springs. Luckily I figured it out but had to remake all the bedding and flip the mattress or that would have been horribly uncomfortable.

Also, there no coffee anywhere on site so that was disappointing.

I did give 2 stars instead of 1 because the room was very clean.

Courteous staff. Clean room. Only stayed one night, as most guests are long term, it lacks some amenities like ice machine and blow dryers. Stayed two different nights on the same trip. First nights room was below average. Bed frame squeaked, mattress seemed worn out and the A/C was loud. Room was spotless. Second stay everything was great. Would stay again as the price was 30% or more less than any nearby hotel.

I enthusiastically recommend WoodSpring Suites. We needed a room as close to an elevator and our car as possible since my husband was scheduled for back surgery the next day. Even though we made a last-minute booking, they found a perfect room. Everything was clean and front desk staff was engaging and helpful. The room was spacious and the heater/air conditioner unit was quiet (and the buttons were easy to read). Thank you.

The room appeared to be clean, conveniently set up and perfect for my temporary homeless status. I got the room because I had some loose ends to tie up in town before going out on the road. I was going to book another night, but then I saw the roaches.
I worked in property maintenance my entire career, I know a thing or two about pest infestations. I've had to deal with german cockroach infestations. They are the worst! Where you see 1 out in the open, there are likely hundreds in the walls, cabinets, drawers. I saw an adult and a juvenile wandering around on the kitchen counter so they are successfully breeding there. Its the kind of thing that cant be spot treated as they will just move from room to room. The only way to get rid of them is to systematically shut down and treat entire floors or buildings.
I couldn't stay another night, almost packed my bags and left on the spot. Instead, I just made sure none of my stuff was on the floor or touching the walls.

Entire facility was clean including room. Staff was nice but not helpful. I asked front desk for a blow dryer and they said they had none left. I asked for some basic kitchenware since I booked a room with full size frig, microwave & cooktop and was told I would have to buy pans/dishes myself & bring them. Not even a coffee pot in the rooms. This is a bare bones hotel with a clean bed/bath and that's it. Can't complain though since I paid under $100/night.

Woodsprings Suites Phoenix-Deer Valley is my ideal of a place to stay when I am away from home. It is located 1/4 mile from Interstate 17 and only a few minutes more to the 101 freeway beltway giving convenient access to the metro area. A friendly, amiable staff and a spacious spotlessly clean room has a feature very important to me: the air quality is excellent thanks to two large absolutely dust-free filters in the customer regulated climate control unit. The bedding is odor free and the shampoo/soap/lotion are fragarance-free spa quality. The kitchen has a full size refrigerator, microwave, and stove top plates. The TV has 42 channels, major networks, ESPN and cable news and an estimated 50" monitor.

I would usually write a two or three sentence review. If I have gone above and beyond that, it's because they deserve it.

The bathtub had a patch over a broken area, it wasn't safe to stand in. The bath water spout was very loose from the wall. The toilet seat was loose. There was a room above us that made noise for the 2 days we stayed. The noise continued throughout the night. After making a trip to the next floor and knock on the door where the noise was coming from, there was a dog in that room which made all the noise. They need a better way of placing people with animals on the bottom floors. There was no staff availability to report the noise to and room phone was out of order.

This hotel while inexpensive is also very bare. It has a lot of potential if some of the basics of an extended stay were provided as a courtesy such as dishes or even more than bare basic wi-fi. Upon checking in, I was handed a packet of rules and house keeping only provides services once every 2 weeks and there is a charge for linen exchange. I feel like this is more of an apartment complex than a hotel. I wish that was the worst part but unfortunately it wasn't. A few days after my stay I noticed roaches of various ages in my room. I would like to say I was surprised but there was food crushed into the carpet in the hallway that was there for 3 days. I checked out early as I didn't want to risk any roaches getting into my luggage and bringing them home. I might have been able to recommend this place for someone looking for an inexpensive place to stay but under no circumstances can I recommend this seeing roaches in my room.

The property was conveniently located to Happy Valley complex near Deer Valley.

Front desk person...forgot her name... was incredible. Apparently thanks to Hotels.com, she was overbooked by 15. But she was very nice and allowed me to check in. Thank you so much for that. The bed was uncomfortable, the pillows were too soft and the fitted sheet kept coming off and i kept ending up on the mattress pad. Plus the bathroom light never shut off. The button didn't work. Ended up leaving at 1130pm due to the discomfort.

There was no soap, toilet paper, no staff to find or answer the phone to get toilet paper. No water in the vending machine. Dirty, I had to wipe the toilet with a towel to get the urine off it and then couldn’t find staff to replace the towel so couldn’t shower. I will never stay in a wood bridge again
