DANGER! STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL! I tried to cancel my reservation several days in advance but was told because I did not cancel TWO WEEKS in advance, they would charge me for the entire stay! What hotel requires two weeks notice to change a reservation?! And then charges you for the entire stay (rather than just the first night)?! When I went there in person the staff was rude and said it was ‘policy.’ This place obviously has no idea what hotel industry standards are. I recommended Expedia not deal with this hotel any more.

Nice hotel in the old Gothic section of Barcelona. Note that the hotel is in a basically walking only part of the city so you won’t be able to take a taxi to it. You will want rollers on your luggage. It’s also hard to find due to very small signage. Good food at Bar Mono which is just around the corner.

Our stay was lovely. Somewhat of a disappointment in the room - no place to sit, to set a suitcase to unpack and limited hooks in the room to hang things. I realize the size is limited but not having a chair to sit on to put on shoes seemed extreme.

Really nice and cozy hotel. The only issue was finding the right gate. Once you find the gate and the elevator you are in a beautiful and well maintained hotel. Very quiet rooms which is a great thing to have in the bustling Barcelona. We stayed in another hotel earlier in the week and it was crazy noisy. But this one is amazing and very comfortable beds. I highly recommend it.

Staff was helpful with transportation and attractions. The location is great - easy walk to 2 markets, Barcelona Cathedral, and Liceu metro station. Lots of dining and shopping within short walks in different directions. La Ramblas only a 5 minute walk. Hotel room was quiet, A/C worked well, bathroom was spacious. Breakfast was not substantive - croissants, juice, coffee.

Once we found this little jewel, we had delightful stay. The staff is very kind and helpful, the breakfast was adequate, and the room was wonderful. It was much larger than I expected and the bathroom is very contemporary and roomy. There were lots of restaurants and shopping places all in the general area. This small hotel is situated in the residential building and in the downstairs of the hotel is a small shopping mall. If you arrive late or early, get inside you need to call from the downstairs. But there’s a staff member on the floor 24 hours, so they would open the door for you. The staff is super friendly.

Do not be misled by the reviews - the air conditioning doe not function sufficiently at this hotel! Room set to 18 but never went below 26. Outside temp at night 26/ day max 33. Staff just shrugged shoulders and said it is a ‘bad installation’. Did get a fan, but no help.

The air condition stopped working they gave me an option to change the room for a smaller one and that they can refund the price difference or they can give us a fan for the night. There was a lot of moist on the ceiling of the bathroom! Rust behind the sink! And the door for the shower doesn’t close well there are missing joints so a lot of water came all out on the floor. I do not recommend!

Quaint Hidden Hotel - Gothic Quarter
It was a very small room, but an adorable hidden hotel. We watched a parade from the balcony and enjoyed walking around the Gothic Quarter. Make sure you take a taxi that will deliver you to the doorstep of the hotel or you will have to walk with luggage.

Nice hotel - tough to find.
The hotel itself was clean and the staff was friendly. However, it was very difficult to find. I would recommend the place but would not recommend if you are a woman arriving late in the evening. You should be aware of how difficult it is to find and that cars cannot drop off close to the hotel. I had to navigate Las Ramblas for about 20 minutes before finding the hotel which was a bit scary at 1am. That said, the room is very clean and the accommodations and staff was lovely.

Hotels rarely live up to their pictures online but this one exceeded our expectations. The rooms were clean with everything you’d need for a stay, even a wine opener. The beds were super comfortable. Stayed here during the end of May and it was very expensive (~$800 for 3 nights) for what we got. We paid for a deluxe room and it was a tiny room (no couch or sitting area). Luckily my husband and I only had backpacks and two carry on suitcase but it wasn’t what we were expecting. In addition, the bathroom shower had mold everywhere in the grout and the light was broken in the shower our entire stay. Service wise, the staff is very nice and can help answer questions. It’s not a traditional hotel and they call themselves a boutique so there’s only usually 1 person available to chat with unless there’s a shift change. There can be a wait to ask questions.
