Lovely hotel, friendly staff. Great location right next to the Rialto bridge. The hotel arranged a complimentary boat ride to Murano to tour one of the glass factories. Room was very well appointed. Would definitely stay here again.

Our stay was lovely. The hotel is a quaint little boutique style with 8 rooms. Each uniquely decorated with beautiful furnishings. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. Great location right next to the Rialto bridge. Would definitely stray here again.

The location is right next to the water bus, and most of the attractions are within walking distance. The room is clean and tidy, the air conditioning is cool, and there are many restaurants around.

Small 8 room boutique hotel on the Grand Canal about 150’ from the Rialto Bridge. Very “Venetian” in decor - lots of brocades, glass chandeliers, gold insets etc. We loved it. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Water taxis taken care of on arrival at the train station and departure to the airport. Very efficient.
Upgraded to an extra large king bed which was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was served to order in a cute little room overlooking the Grand Canal. Would definitely return.

Such a nice hotel that felt right in the middle of Venice. Family of four and booked a corner suite that had king bed and queen foldout couch. Loved the decor and close to Rialto bridge as well as ferry stop. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room and areas were very clean. No restaurant but they do offer breakfast service if you order ahead the night before. Great option for check out morning but didn’t try it. They do also have an elevator which is helpful with luggage. The suite we booked had large bathroom with lots of space. Would recommend staying here.

Being a boutique hotel there were only 8 rooms and was situated on the Grand Canal about 150’ from the Rialto Bridge. The property is very “Venetian-glass chandeliers, brocade bed covers, walls etc”We loved its uniqueness. Staff were wonderful. Breakfast was served in a little room overlooking the Grand Canal….was fun watching all the boat traffic.

La Dolce vita on the grand canal!

Lovely staying a boutique hotel and n the grand canal. Next to private and public water transport options. Very convenient. We upgraded to a canal view room which was well worth it. Great bed and good shower, though a bit small. Fantastic and friendly staff. Sumptuous and delicious breakfast too. Grazie ego boutique!

a lovely stay during a brief overnight trip

I visited Venice overnight while I was traveling in Florence. I booked a night at EGO and had a lovely stay. The location is perfect - it’s on the Grand Canal right next to the Rialto bridge. It’s ultra easy to get to from the Venice train station - just a short water taxi ride. The room was very comfortable with nice bath products. It was clean and quiet. The hotel staff were so nice and generous with their advice. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in Venice.

Was a great hotel if u have the money! It's location is perfect on the Grand canal and close to the Rialto bridge! Its very noisy at night if you leave the windows open! No a/c . The hotel brought us ice every night! Had a great time!

First time in Venice, booked this property randomly. Literally the most ideal location, close to everything and also the heart of Venice - realto. Everything is in walking distance. The hotel and staff were spectacular and helpful. Everything was perfect.

Elegant and true to its name. Absolutely beautiful

Elegant and beautiful hotel with spacious rooms. We had a king size bed and a sofa bed for a family of 4. We had a great stay and it was right on the Grand Canal by Rialto Bridge.

Wow! We didn't want to leave. Definitely coming back one day to stay again. Booked as a family of four with two children - 6 and 10. Booked Grand Canal room which had amazing views of the grand canal and Ponte di Rialto Fantastic location for Alilaguna water taxi - literally right there from the Rialto stop. Very central. Beds and rooms were very spacious. Lots of lovely little extra touchs. Room also came with a very spacious jacuzzi for two - the kids thought it was amazing. No trouble to book water taxi for you. Breakfast was wonderful - fantastic selection in a beautiful setting. Just loved this hotel - the highlight of our European trip!!

We loved our stay at the EGO Silk Road hotel. Our room was amazing- beautifully decorated in traditional Venetian style. Windows overlooking the canal. Great breakfast served in our room. And helpful, friendly staff. Short walk to San Marco and 30 feet from a water taxi stop. All in all a great base for exploring Venice.

The location was fantastic, although it’s located in a very crowded area of Venice, but I think that is to be expected.
The room and common areas were very lovely. My only complaint is that the bed was very firm.
We really enjoyed the included breakfast which provided good options.
The staff were very helpful with transfer services.

A wonderful hotel! Modern (and large) bathroom with old world charm in the bedroom. Beautiful glass chandeliers and sconces through the rooms. The service was top-notch! Water taxi to the door of the hotel - no lugging bags around to and from the airport. Next to the Rialto Bridge, so close to everything. Breakfast was the best we had in Italy. Worth the price.

Not a true 5 star stay, very overpriced

Crowded location in Venice. We stayed in room 8. Directly outside the room is a second receptionist desk and while in room 8 you can hear every conversation, footstep, and phone ring. As well as the clinking of kitchenware down the hall. I’m not sure why the hotel decided this was an appropriate location for a receptionist desk (or room). The gondola tours going up and down the alley are extremely loud throughout the day. This was our first time in Venice, and as an American I’d categorize it as the Times Square of Europe, so maybe getting around the noise and mass crowds isn’t possible unless you’re paying $1k a night for a true 5 star stay. Staff was very friendly & accommodating, the place was clean, but all in all it’s true what they say.. when going to Venice, over OVER spend or keep expectations low.

Nice stay in a historic place

Elegant hotel near the Rialto in the 15th century Palazzo Bembo. Very attentive staff, good breakfast - served to the table, because in such a small hotel a buffet would be a pure waste of food. An unexpected \"bonus\" is the contemporary art gallery located in the same building.
