We had two rooms with balcony, view of city, it was great experience everything were accessible restaurants , shows ,shopping and etc not having car using public transportation Reception was on seven floor, only couple of them spoke English.This hotel had a great charm. Availability of four people elevator was issue sometimes.I would recommend this hotel.

We were more than happy to receive an early checkin since we were extremely tired from the journey. The location is perfect, covered by many metro station, restaurants and shops. It is a must if you are looking for best price/benefit hotel.

My train was delayed so I tried to contact the hostel to let them know that I will arrive a little late, no one answered ever. Once I got there, no one at the main door, still not answering the phone, so I went upstairs to the hostel floor to knock on the door and still no answer. It was past midnight and I had spent 45 minutes trying to reach someone to check in. One guy showed up by the stairs and told me reception was on 7th. Floor LOL! Who knew? Why this info isn’t on the web? Other than that incident the room was so comfy and clean, still worthy staying here.

The location is superb. However, the property isn’t completely accessibility designed. You had to take a few stairs to the elevator and the elevator did not go to the rooftop. My mom had a hard time going up those stairs and of course didn’t get to see the rooftop. Also, someone walked in on us as we were sleeping!

We booked the room with breakfast included. But when we go to Sky44 to have breakfast, they font have our room number on their list. Asked front desk staff, they confirmed I do have breakfast. Obviously, they forget about it. The room is small. WI-FI is so bad. Asked front desk staff to reboot their router. But soon went bad again. Their are several hostal in the building. But hostal Charlotte is not listed at the street level. The booking says go to floor 9. But the front desk is at flor 7. The location is good on Gran Via. But it is noisy at night

Love the location, cleanliness, separate shower and toilet in separate rooms within the room, two sinks and the roof top restaurant/bar is a nice additional. It was a little hard to find and the name isn't listed out on the signs, this is important since there are several other hostels located in the same building.

The room had a basic modern look, it was reasonably clean and it's spacious.

There was not really a signage for Hostal Charlotte; Charlotte is at 9th floor and the reception is at 7th (or 8th), in any case it was not written. Also could be better if the receptionist speaks English more fluently. Was unable to get wifi from the room, I had to approach the skybar for access - was quite awkward to enter bar to ask wifi but not drinks (I do not drink)

L'hostal placé dans un quartier vivant à Madrid, par contre je suis arrivé vers 23H l'accès à l'hostal pas tres claire. La chambre assez propre aussi que l'immeuble, j'ai payé pour une lit double et j'ai eu 2 lits séparés, personnel pas vraiment accueillant et personnellement le prix de la chambre ne le mérite pas.

Basic hotel well situated with nice view
The view from the terrace from our room on the gran via was exceptional. The rooms were basic ( what you just can expect from a 2 star hotel). The beds of the room with terrace was small (140) and to be avoided for a couple. Price was 575€ for 3 nights which is expensive for a 2 star hotel. Service was good and friendly.the hotel is very centrally located.

Old building in a central location, but that’s all! Internally you get into a rundown courthouse that needs heavy refurbishing. Rooms really small, not well cleaned. Very warm rooms without control of individual heating/AC. Staff not helpful at all. I recommend NOT to go even for one night (see pics attached).

Hostel vraiment très bien placé, mais assez difficile à trouver. 9eme étage dans une petit entrée, avec beaucoup d’hostel différent à chaque étage, accueil au 7eme étage pas facile à trouver quand on ne connaît pas. Petit soucis : 1 seul ascenseur assez petit pour 9 étages et beaucoup de monde.

Al llegar solo había dos toallas pequeñas y una de ellas estaba sucia y usada, cuando fui a reclamar los de la secretaria se mostraron indiferentes. Además que no se molestaron en recoger las muestras de gel y shampoo que la anteior persona/s que se alojaron. Buena localización y la terraza maravillosa.

Muy buenos cuartos con linda vista. Oficinas quedan en el 7mo nivel. Desayuno muy bueno en el techo del edificio, buen servicio. No supimos que quedó en el 9 nivel del edificio y que solamente hay un elevador pequeño y muy ocupado. En la entrada del edificio no aparece el hostal.

Die Lage ist hervorragend, wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Terrasse und Blick auf die ganze Stadt. Das Zimmer war zwar sehr klein, was aber ein Problem war. Jedoch hätte das Zimmer noch etwas sauberer sein können. Es wurde zwar jeden Tag das Bett gemacht, und die Handtücher wurden mitgenommen, jedoch bekamen wir dann immer zu wenig frische Handtücher. Das Toilettenpapier wurde nicht einmal aufgefüllt, das Bettlaken hatte auch vereinzelt Flecken und nachdem das Bett frisch gemacht wurde, waren vereinzelt Haare auf dem Bett. Im Grossen und Ganzen war es vom Preis und der Lage gut, die Sauberkeit eher weniger gut.

This hotel had som era allt good things going but other things that weren’t good at all. The location is perfect, couldn’t be better. The hotel was difficult to find tough and the receptionist didn’t give us any information about anything. We got the room key and that was it. We had to ask about breakfast, WiFi, checkout times etc. So the service was not good. The building is not that nice but the rooms had a good standard. I would say that the cleaning could be better. But the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was okay nothing more. It will cost 1 € to leave your bags in the reception after you checkout.

Hostal liegt super zentral! Direkt an der Haltestelle Callao. Super zum shoppen und Sightseeing.
Es befindet sich im 9.Stock. Es gibt 2 kleine Fahrstühle (jeweils für 4 Personen).
Die Anmeldung befindet sich in der 7.Etage. Leider hat bei uns niemand Englisch gesprochen, daher war die Kommunikation sehr schwierig.
Zimmer inkl Bad ist i.O., Betten sind nicht besonders (Decke hatte keinen Bezug sondern nur ein Laken) und unser Ausblick war auf eine Hauswand. Ein Tausch auf ein Zimmer mit Balkon war leider nicht möglich. Direkt drüber liegt die Bar/Restaurant. Daher bis 1.30 Uhr ziemlich laut. Reinigung der Zimmer war top!

El lugar estaba bien, pero las toallas usadas las dejaron mojadas sobre la cama Además de no reponer el gel de ducha que era un sobresito para un uso y estuvimos más de una noche. Mi amiga llegó al día siguiente y en recepción no fueron capaces de ayudarla a entrar al piso de habitaciones y yo ya había dado aviso que llegaba al otro día

Отель хороший, очень клиентоориентированный персонал. Мы жили в номере с террасой, вид просто непередаваемый!! Чисто, убираются каждый день. Что не понравилось: раковина в номере(знали до заезда), отсутствие холодильника(знали до заезда) просто эти два фактора были очень неудобными.

La recepción fue muy buena y muy agradables resolviendo dudas por teléfono previamente. La habitación estaba muy limpia y tal y como se ve en las fotografías y las vistas son impresionantes. Gran estancia, repetiremos seguro.
