The room is spacious, clean, and comfortable. This room is suitable for people who require mobility support. The bathroom is large and equipped with special hand-bars in the shower. The receptionists are very friendly and efficient. The hotel is in an excellent location and most attractions are within walking distance.

Location and staff are great!

Location and friendly staff! Those are my highlights. The location is unbeatable, right off Gran Via near shopping and a short walk to all the tourist stuff. But the people that work here are the best!! Also, as a work traveler, I love that they have a washer and dryer. It helps so much. My only complaint is the tiny gym. Otherwise, this will continue to be my go-to work hotel Madrid.

Great Place in the heart of Gran Via

We had a wonderful stay at Aloft Gran Via over Christmas. First, it’s in great location and just a short walk to the Royal Palace, Plaza Mayor, Mercado de San Miguel, and all the shops and theaters along Gran Via. It’s a short metro ride to the Prado, Parque De Retiro, and Santiago Bernabeu.

The hotel staff is terrific. From everyone at the front desk to the amazing housekeeping staff, Aloft is a clean, modern, and welcoming hotel. You’ll be comfortable if you only speak English, but everyone will gracefully indulge your bad attempts at Spanish too. They certainly did mine.

Excellent location with a friendly staff. Some parts of the hotel are being renovated but that didn’t affect us.
Huge shout out to their front desk / reception staff for being caring, helpful and extremely polite.

Overpriced. Good location, but the room was small, cramped and lacking features. The bathroom’s racks were literally dangling. The elevator situation is a joke and the lady managing the terrace is clearly not happy to be there at all.

Very clean and easily accessible to several places. Great views of Madrid from the top floor which is the swimming pool and bar.

Fairly decent size room but my room does not has the luggage rack nor sufficient wardrobe space for storing and hanging clothers. Mattress has good support but the pillows are soft.

The staff is very nice and accommodating. The lobby and pool are great to hang out in and the room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Highly recommend for your stay in Madrid.

Great but too loud at night.

The hotel and hotel staff is great. However the hotel is located above a very loud club that plays loud music until 6am. Made it very hard to sleep. The rooftop bar is great. I really liked the hotel but due to the loud bass that goes on till 6am. I wouldn’t recommend it for business travelers

Excellent, clean, modern and central hotel

The Aloft is a minute walk from the Gran Via, in a quiet side street. The rooms are new, with the ones facing the street slightly larger than the back ones, but both are ample by European standards. They are modern, with excellent beds, pillows and amazing shower.

The staff is super friendly and helpful.

The breakfast consists of scrambled and hardboiled eggs, bacon, beans, and a selection of fruit, cheeses, yogurts and cold cuts. Pastries and breads, too. It is delicious, and you can make your own lattes or cappuccinos or coffees by machine.

My only caveat- table seating for eating is limites.It is 12 min taxi ride to Museo de el Prado, and right next to shopping and dining.

Recommended! We will be back.

Great spot

Everything about the accommodation is perfect, except that it was a Friday night and we could hear club-music thumping literally all the way until 5:30 AM or so. Not enough to keep us up, but enough to wake us up intermittently. Aside from that, very comfortable beds, great location, friendly staff, great rooftop bar. All exceptiopnal.
