Room not comfortable for 4 people, only the beds and 1 chair. The shower was so dirty that the fungus on the walls run out with the water. Very dissapointing experience. Do not believe the good reviews are true.

Our room was not ready when we checked in and we had to wait about an hour. Staff was brusque but efficient. In the morning, I went to the front desk and asked to have my name on the breakfast list. They did so. I got 1 cup
Of coffee. But shortly after, I was harassed and accused of sneaking in. I explained that my name had been added but I was basically called a liar. I was upset and left and had breakfast elsewhere. At checkout, I got an apology but still had to pay for a breakfast I never had. 17€.

The hotel was in a fantastic location to be able to walk everywhere, we didn't use the Metro once in four days.

Some great eating places nearby, once you are off of the main areas.

Would definitely use the hotel again if in Madrid.

Can't beat this property's location and value for your money. It's right there in the middle of Gran Via and yet it's perfectly quiet for a good night's sleep. Can get anywhere in Madrid on foot, metro or bus. The room is modern and spacious to Spanish standards.

This hotel is perfect! Check in was easy, the room was gorgeous and smelled so good! Everything was clean, they give you courtesy water, hygiene products and even sleepers. It’s a two minute walk from the metro station and La Gran Via. Highly recommended!

It is a nice small hotel (as many hotels in Madrid) close to everything. Not much amenities, just a very good place to spend the night. Parking - if you have a car - is expensive and not part of the hotel, you have to use a private one. Good breakfast every morning and a very polite staff

Perfect small place in center of city

Petit Palace Plaza Espana provided the perfect place for me and my friend to stay in Madrid during our 1 week trip there.
The receptionists were very friendly and helpful (helped me to find a rental car and PCR place).
Room was also clean and spacious for 2 person.
My favorite is that the hotel is very at the center of the Centro area, we walked everywhere and took us 5-20 mins walk.
However, I wished we were informed on the first day that there were complimentary water, coffee and tea at the lobby. We were told 2 days in our stay.
But overall very good experience and would stay here again on our next trip back to Madrid.

The hotel staff were excellent, however I booked my room for 3 people around 3 months before I went to Madrid. When I got there, they told me there was only one room with triple bed which was unavailable. I couldn’t complain though because Isabel let us check in 5 hours early. She was a sweetheart. However, the room was so hot (a/c is not available in the winter). Again, Isabel was so accommodating and gave us a fan. Also the room was really low. We kept bumping our heads and had to duck while walking from one spot to the next. Isabella and the free coffee and water made the hotel very bearable! Thanks.

The room was over all pretty nice. The only complaints is the toilet is pretty well used, the room is stuffy and we can’t open the windows because it’s loud until 3am. The hotel its actually not too far from the Royal Palace and Gardens. its about 1km or over 1mile to the metro/bus station Monclea. Its located off a major street where one can shop or go to the theatre. Recommend. Good buffet for breakfast non included though.

Hotel was clean and on a great location. It was a little small but comfortable. However, the was a miscommunication about breakfast. Front desk informed us that the breakfast was included and gave us the time when it was available. But when we checked out, the hotel charged us €90 for 3 days breakfast for 2 person. So the breakfast was not included n it is €15/person. It was just a simple breakfast n kind of pricey. You could easily walk out from the hotel n get a decent breakfast at a restaurant for half price. If the breakfast isn't included, please don't inform the guess that it is or at least inform the guess about the charge. Maybe that was my mistake too that I didn't double check what is included n what's not. We had a long flight and layover, arrived early morning but we couldn't check in until 2 PM, this hotel wasn't our only hotel because I booked many hotels since we have multiple destinations, and I can't remember all of the services and amenities that were offered. If they could have let us know before about the charges and that breakfast is not included, we wouldn't have this problem and this surprise charges. Overall, our stay was good, just a little disappointed about those charges.

We had a triple room on the main floor, which also had a little patio perfect for sipping some wine purchased from the nearby convenience store. Would absolutely stay here again. The overall cleanness is fine and breakfast is good. Walking distance to city center and next to Plaza de Espana (for tour bus). This hotel is NOT a 4 star hotel, 3 star max to North American standard. No lobby, just a few tables for breakfast. The triple room we stayed in is tiny, with the smallest table ever seen in a hotel. The room has no sound proof. Very noisy at night from the street. Not worth the price and will not recommend.

Our stay was very nice. The hotel is in a great location, close and walking distance to all places we wanted to see like the Mercado San Miguel, Plaza De España and Puerta Del Sol. The breakfast really nice, I would just wished that it was varied ever day since we were there for 6 days and it was the same breakfast everyday. They had a nice light and healthy section.
If I had to say anything bad it was that the pillows were extremely hard and uncomfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Our only complaint was that the safe in our rooom stopped working on our third day there and it was fixed on the next day.

The entire staff deserves 5 stars plus. They were all amazing. The breakfast was well worth the price, and they were also very generous with amenities. The location of the hotel is right in the heart of the city of Madrid. Excellent location to get anywhere, and the hotel room itself is a four out of five (sheets and towels nice and clean). The picture of the room is a little misleading - I am not sure if there's room with that wide window in the hotel - mine didn't. - but room is spacious and comfortable.

Staff were kind and helpful, addressed a few of my questions kindly.

Breakfast is also excellent, good combination of hot breakfast and continental breakfast, one of the best was various drinks and juice selection.

Located just a few steps from metro station, also close to central location. It's just 10 min walk from Palacio Real and Opera, after a long day in Del Prado museum, it's nice to walk back to Plaza Mayor for refreshment and dinner then walk back to the hotel enjoying crowd of central Madrid.

Hotel has a great location near puerta del sol. Other than that, very basic rooms, a bit outdated or in need of some maintenance. Especially considering the price, for end of May. Also had a bit of an odd experience with some of our toiletries going walkabout. We double checked when we got home to ensure we had, in fact, packed those items. We did. As it was a minor inconvenience and nothing expensive, didn’t think too much more about it. Overall, not bad. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful.
