A very comfortable hotel right in the heart of Madrid. Easily accessible by Metro, bus and on foot, with some really good markers around that will help you remember where your hotel is. If you love shopping you have easy access to a lot of them. if you want to attend theatre performances, again lots of theatres about. The City tour bus stops also outside when you do the old town route. What we loved is coming home to chocolates left for us by the turn down team. A sweet surprise after long days out.
The room was cleaned every day, and were always left a small note to say who tidied things up.
The room was super quiet despite the loud environment outside.
The only thing that we found difficult to figure out is how to make the AC fan run at a slower rate, so we opted to use only the sheet as cover instead as the room was relatively warm.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you team for your superb service.

Very central location in Madrid. Right across from a subway station. Easy to catch taxi also in front of the hotel. It is a busy thorough fare with alot of access to stores and restaurants. It is the touristy area of the city so keep that in mind if you are looking to be in a quieter area. I was on the 4th floor, but couldn't hear much noise.

Rooms are very clean and great condition. Great housekeeping. Staff overall friendly.

Overall great hotel. Lobby area and public spaces need some updating and would be my only comment about furnishings and not having a coffee maker in the rooms are the only two slight comments about the accomodations.

What a wonderful hotel! The Gran Via is not for those looking for a quiet bungalow to relax. This gem is really an oasis from the hustle of the city outside. The rooms always kept spotless, the buffet staff and breakfast delightful. Always looked forward to returning after a long day of touring Madrid. Truly a home away from home. I have stayed at this hotel many time when visiting Madrid, and until now, my experiences had always been positive. Unfortunately, this last stay was very disappointing. I booked and paid for two deluxe rooms, but upon arrival we were given two standard rooms. Despite repeatedly explaining that the room was not the category I had reserved, the hotel kept my family and me in the lower-category room for two nights.

The rooms we were placed in were dusty, had dirty furniture, and the air conditioning was broken. The hotel staff made no effort to resolve the issue proactively. I ultimately had to contact Expedia who intervened and facilitated the move the rooms that we had originally paid for.

Even after acknowledging that we had been placed in the wrong rooms, the hotel made no attempt to refund the rate difference for the two nights we did not receive the correct category.

As a frequent gust, I expected much better service and accountability. This experience has made me seriously reconsider staying at this property in the future.

I loved how well maintained and clean the hotel was. Everything felt in great condition, and the customer service was very good and attentive. The location is perfect if you’re visiting Madrid as a tourist and want to explore the city center, since it’s right on Gran Vía, close to the Capitol building, shopping areas, and many other attractions. Before booking, I had read some reviews mentioning street noise, but once you close the shutter it’s actually well insulated. Of course, you’re in the heart of Madrid, so there’s some city buzz, but nothing disturbing. Overall, a great stay!

We enjoyed the 4 nights we were in this hotel. It was very clean, room service did an outstanding job every time. People checking us in were very friendly and would politely greet us every time we went into the hotel. It’s ideal location since its on Gran Via, I was skeptical about the noise at night but that was never an issue. One thing I didn’t care for was breakfast it was just ok so we only had breakfast once in the hotel. Once you step outside of the hotel there’s countless coffee shops and restaurants so finding something treat close by it will never be an issue. Metro stations there several nearby. I would gladly stay here again next time I’m in Madrid.

The only negative was the outside noise coming from the frequent sirens of the police and emergency vehicles on Gran Via.
